The facilities were comfortable and good value but the staff let the hotel down. I had 3 specific requests during my stay and each time it required 3 or 4 repeated requests to get any response. The staff attitude appeared to be "not my job so I can ignore this. The guest should find the right person to ask." The staff do not appear to understand their impact on the guest experience and hence rating which means they do respond appropriately. It seemed that there is a management gap therefore in training and creating the spirit of service which Accor group promote...

we did the late check in, its about 11.30 - 12.00 p.m. it wasn't our first stay here, we stay here many times since 2013 because we need to visit our client annually. my impression for our last visit was quite dissatisfied. the bed sheet and the towels were dirty and the color changed to become abit yellow, my opinion is its time to change ur bed sheet and towel as well. then i turned on the tv, and no signal at all. i called the engineer to come and he said it was not installed yet. he wanted to fix it, but its too late already. come on, tv channel is a very basic in every hotel. after the engineer left, i showered and saw 2-3 small cockroaches. lucky im not a cockroach phobic. I know Mercure hotel can be much better than this, and hopefully its getting better during my next trip. thanks and regards, Goei Yongky S.
