« Always a welcoming place to relax at after a long road journey »

We always love every aspect of our stays here. Such an enjoyable breakfast in the cafe, so bright and airy. Service and food always good. Dinners in the bistro very enjoyable. All staff very pleasant, from reception to housekeeping. Rooms are clean as usual.

Only problem can’t remember room number but 3 rd floor, with strong winds there was serious banging of a pieces of roofing, could not work out if it was what we looked down to or above us. Gave us a restless night, til winds died down.

Everything was good. However over priced. I had recently stayed in the CBD with a desk including parking and breakfast and it cost less than one sleepover at the Mercure.

We had an early morning seminar to attend at WestWaters and were so pleased we made the decision to stay overnight at Mercure Melbourne Caroline Springs. Plenty of parking, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. So we had a great nights sleep before an early start which was just an elevator trip away. We also managed to have dinner at the restaurant downstairs which was delicious.

Enjoyed my stay though I found the menu somewhat lacking especially in the vegetable department, While I'm away from home I do like to healthy meals which include vegetables.

The bed was a king with two (different height) hard worn mattresses. Pillows were terrible. There was no toaster or microwave, had no idea the room would not have the basics. Shower was great, room looked lovely.

Unfortunately, Virgin cancelled my flight and I had to stay overnight in Melbourne. They reserved a room with you. The hotel is an extremely long way from the airport, so I think it was ridiculous of Virgin to book somewhere so far away. However, apart from an extended wait to check in, staff were polite and helpful, and the room was very comfortable.

We are a gold member and have stayed at this hotel many times. But this was a dissapointing experience. At check in, we were not offered an upgrade when the superior room was shown as available online. Neither we were given an arrival gift which we receive as being gold members. As we booked a standard room, on level 3, there were paint works being carried out. Walls were being painted and there was no signage, no information popped up while making the reservation online. Upon check in we were not reminded of these works that were being carried out. It definitely didn't give us a feel of staying at a 4 star hotel and being a member. The only good thing was the room service promptness and the meal.

Generally good. Room was good. Staff member at check in was very welcoming and a gret advertisement for the hotel. Checkin area was smelling of smoke - both my wife and I commented we hadn't experienced this on previous stays. Couldn't determine where it was coming from. Didn't arrive until 8.30 and felt very rushed in restaurant - which was noisy. Had to leave before breakfast to catch a flight. With the changes to the hotel and now less parking availability has reduced. There was plenty when we left in the morning so must be people in the gaming room
