With regards to the concern with the roof during the windy/rainy night, we do have a tin roof above and that may have been what you heard as you were on the top floor. We loved the spaciousness of the apartment, and housekeeping did an exceptional job. We had an issue on which we later provided feedback to the night staff. We didn't expect anything, but just wanted to let someone know because it would have been easily avoided with staff training, room signage or both. However the staff were so appreciative of the feedback, we were offered a complimentary breakfast, which was above and beyond our expectation. It made us feel really valued and we feel we can safely recommend Mercure Caroline Springs to others for a good experience. Suggestions for improvement - 1. there needs to be a sign indicating where the switch is for the stove, and 2. free wifi should be provided, or at least provided to Accor members regardless of whether the booking is direct or not. This is 2018! Free WiFi is as expected as toiletry amenities! Free WiFi is offered at the Quest and honestly that's one reason most of our friends stay at Quest when we come to Caroline Springs annually.

Room - Best ever experience Reception - Above expectations Friendly & Helpful Evening Meal - I was very happy about my Seniors meal (Steak) but my wife found her Seniors Chicken Parma very dry and nor very palatable. Also we waited over 30 minutes for the delivery of the drinks that we ordered on arrival into the Restaurant. Given that we could see the drinks waiting on the bar counter for waiter service to be collected.
