Started with excellent and friendly service from Rog of the Concierge staff. We could not believe the size of the deluxe room. The complimentary wine and cheese delivered to our room because it was our wedding anniversary was a wonderful gesture that will never be forgotten and has given us tremendous story to tell all our friends.

We stayed with Fairmont Resort for two nights at the Blue Mountains. It was a lovely experience and the place was amazing and the facilities are very well kept. The staff were courteous and they attended to our needs with utmost care. They even provided complimentary wine and cheese board as an anniversary gift to us. Thanks and see you soon Fairmont!

From the moment we checked in, we noticed how different this place was. The young lady at the counter was full of energy and seemed to genuinely love her job. She had a laugh with us, complimented my top, gave us some tips for our stay and surrounds, and was just delightful. We were in our room ten minutes and she called us to check everything was okay, and it was perfect. Our room was divine and was spacious and had a bath. The decor was very warm and inviting. The staff passing in the corridors actually made eye contact and said good afternoon, smiled and were pleasant. The pool was gorgeous and refreshing and though the resort was full, you didn’t feel crowded at all, in fact. At times we were the only ones at the pool! Kids were catered for but had their own areas so for a couple on a romantic getaway it was perfect. We actually plan on bringing our five year old up there soon because we saw so much he would love! The food was just amazing... dinner at embers was perfect - the service itself was great - another delightful young girl who knew how to serve and had lovely manners and was conversational. The food was amazing and the next morning at breakfast we were in shock - the buffet was out of this world - the best buffet either of us had been to. We honestly felt like the staff were all vying for employee of the year, they were that lovely. We checked the next four weekends to come back but it’s booked out... we can’t wait to get back! We have traveled a lot and do a lot of day and weekend trips from Sydney and this is the standout. We rarely write reviews, only if it’s absolutely terrible but after another lovely exchange with staff we just looked at each other and knew we had to write a review about the Fairmont. The grounds... the facilities, the rooms, the food, the staff... it feels excessive writing this, but I have to. It was just divine. Do yourself a favour and go!!!!

As usual, it feels like at home away from home, it's a family atmosphere, kids happy, parents happy. But most importantly the management and staff of this hotel are the best in this industry. Even talking with other families staying, they said the same, they were looked after. Found the amount of Asians hogging the spa annoying and the amount of Arabs pushing in at breakfast painful. Otherwise everything was really nice and staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Always have good service at the Fairmont. It’s nice to see that the hotel has been getting some TLC as was evident in the room we had. A lot of the room appears to of been improved from the TV to the new AC system. The only negative points I can pass on are. 1) TV inputs are not usable. Most people Travelling and business people like to be able to attach their laptops or other devices to the tv. Whilst the inputs are easily accessible the remote has had the input option locked out. 2) The room we were in was very small compared to the others previously used. We have been many times in varied room types. (Room 450) New Spa was very good and highly recommend it.

Was annoyed at checkin the staff member pointed me in the wrong direction to room wing. worked out where to the go and the. Got all the way to room 329.... end of corridor and keys wouldn’t work so had to walk back to reception and get keys re activated. This then happened the next day as well. Apart from this ... very friendly and helpful staff

The rooms were spacious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of things to keep you busy from the tennis courts,pools and plenty of board games and movies shown in the cinema for everyone to enjoy.

« Great place for the kids so much to do. »

Great experience from the moment we walked in. Only upset was that my kids wanted to go on the train ride. It was kids only and I wasn’t comfortable sending my kids on a 20 minute train ride without myself or husband. Parents should be able to have the option to go with their kids if they like. Also it would be great to have waffles for the buffet breakfast.
