« Smelly disabled room »

This is a good hotel but on this occasion the check in was chaotic as the staff were busy smoking outside and non trained staff left to do the check in. I was given a disabled room wish smelled of sewers. In the morning when you ran the shower it flooded the whole bathroom floor.

« the worst hotel experience i have ever had. »

Staff could not give directions. staff had problems checking me in. Fire alarm went off at 3am. the exterior lights of the building shine through the window. the shower sprays water everywhere in the bathroom. I was also miss charged Ibis you and dealing with that matter.

« Quiet, pleasant stay, very convenient to CDG Paris airport! »

We were in transit from Spain back to Raleigh, NC via Paris, and didn't have time to get into Paris, so we just wanted a comfortable, not too expensive Hotel close to the CDG airport. The price was reasonable, and our room was VERY quiet, and everything worked fine. The hotel was immediately adjacent to Terminal 3 (about 200 feet), so all we had to do was walk from the hotel into the Terminal, and then take the quick inter-terminal train to Terminal 2 to catch our flight. It was all very easy and convenient. A full breakfast was included, standard fare, nothing fancy, but the access to coffee was easy, which I always appreciate.

« Something creepy about this place. »

Negatives: Horrible chemical smell in the halls, fire extinguishers everywhere (including a huge one as you enter your room). Desk staff fully ignored us for about 5 minutes as we stood about 2 feet from them trying to buy some snacks from the sad assortment available when we arrived after midnight. Bed was comfortable but sheets were rough and scratchy. Desk staff unable to answer simple questions about the airport. Positives: comfortable bed, very quiet, excellent handicap-accessible bathroom

I and my company members stay regularly at Ibis ( or Novotel ) and Ibis Styles rooms are very nice and definitely more roomy - especially the bathroom- than ordinary Ibis hotel. It is a big shame that the breakfast area is absolutely very badly designed and totally inadequate to receive many guest . Every morning we had to que up only to find out that there were no knives-forks- bread - orange juice - cups and only 1 coffee machine. The area where you pick up your breakfast is far too narrow and quite impossible to move around. We ask the personel to bring sufficient knives etc but it always took a very long time and they ran out again very soon. 1 night the fire alarm was ringing for a very long time and all guests were very anxious and no information was given. This hotel needs a proper management team that takes care of the guest and simple needs as proper breakfast equipment- cleaning of tables ( were very dirty ) and this is not the case today. Due to this poor performance it is difficult to give high score. Room is nice and clean- but the rest not. Best regards- Torben Koed

« Overnight after long Flight. »

Arrived very weary at CDG Airport . Was not sure of distance Ibis Styles was from Airport so [ as we had lots of luggage ] we caught Ibis Styles black Shuttle bus . MISTAKE ...It took us to Ibis Styles about 10klms. away . Got a Taxi back to the right Ibis Styles [ which turned out to be 60 metres away , behind trees from the Shuttle pickup ...!!! ] Experience cost Euro 20. Nice reception , booked in ,Room quite OK ,, had a quick bite to eat and then crashed for the night . Comfortable bed .Good breakfast.

Rooms were comfortable. Dinner appalling - ordered hot food came out cold, and not what was specified on the menu. Wrong drinks order. Breakfast - cutlery and food not replenished at a reasonable speed. We wouldn't stay at an Ibis Styles hotel again - it wasn't really cheap.

When I arrived there were two members of staff on reception dealing with one booking. Waited over five minutes to be served . Despite pre-booking and confirming online my room key / details could not be found. I was neither offered an extension / late check-out or given a drink voucher which I normally would be offered as a Platinum member. In the bar / restaurant when food and drinks were ordered the later did not arrive until after the food was eaten. At breakfast it took ten minutes to get coffee cups.

We arrived with my wife into the hotel after long day on Friday afternoon. We were sitting in the lobby bar next to the restaurant and having our drinks. We asked when they open the kitchen/restaurant. We were told that they open at 7pm. So at 6.30pm we were joking with the staff, that we want other drink when we order the dinner. Restaurant was opened at 7pm and due to the que, 3 tables were immediately occupied, the rest, circa 20 tables were free. The bartender asked me if I have a reservation, when I said no, he replied, that the restaurant is fully booked and he is not able to seat me. I ask if he is sure and he recommended me other hotel-restaurants in the surrounding. We went to the other restaurants and after circa one hour we were going back to our room, the restaurant in our hotel was still empty – only 5 tables were occupied.

I missed my flight in Paris because of connection flight before midnight and was devastated as hotel rooms on that day was almost packed. I visited other ibis hotel after checking the availability at the CdG info but all the rooms were taken at the time arrived. Then the stuff called your hotel and found one room left. When I arrived, the last room was on negotiation. I explained why I needed the room and the reception stuff decided to give me a room as they have received the call before that person started to negotiate the last room. He even run to the room (i think) and put some water bottle and snack for me. I could not thank more after all the hash time. I cannot remember the name of that person but a young blond man who was on duty in the night of 9th September was the one. Please send my sencere thank you to him. Best regards, Mai.

« NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! »

Not clean; fire alarm went of for 1/2 hour in the middle of thte night and no one answered the phone at thte desk to tell us what to do; turned us away in their restaurant because we didn't have a reservation -- even as guests in the hotel; no soap in the bathroom (called three times to get some). Will NEVER stay in their hotels again.

« Dinner and fire alarm - nothing nice.... »

Hotel expects that you make reservation into the lobby restaurant - but waiting 2 hours in lobby drinking a beer and nobody will tell us that we should do the reservation. We ask also for the menu but after openeing the restaurant was overbooked even that only 5 tables out of 25 were occupied. Also at 3.30 in the morning started the fir alarm - All personel was quit, no rush only explanation - somebody was smoking on some floor. Do not worry. Sorry, but these two experiences were enough for me during my stay - no possibility to have a dinner in the restaurant plus fire alarm - no thanks, never ever this hotel....

« Terrible, Terrible, TERRIBLE!!!! »

No secure wi-fi in this day and age. Fire alarm went off from 3:09 to 3:33 and no one answered the phone at the front desk to tell us what to do. Turned us (and others) in the restaurant because no reservation ( no one told us guests needed them. No soap in short or sink and it took three calls to get one tube...not two.Awful experience!! Never to be repeated. Am writing the CEO.
