We love the Pullman normally; great value for money but the stay was below average. Both night we were woken by a loud high-pitched noise. Sounded like an airlock in the plumbing or an elevator issue. We stayed in Auckland because I had a competition on the Saturday so we thought it would be best to pay a little extra for a good night’s sleep. However, we were continually woken by this noise both nights unfortunately. On the Saturday morning, I had an early start so thought it would be best to have breakfast at the hotel at 6am, never again will I eat at the Pullman for breakfast. The bacon was inedible and the scrambled eggs were terrible. The Flat White came from at the instant machine and was below average with no barista coffee available. Going to take a lot to be back to the Pullman

Really enjoyed our time at the Pullman. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant was fantastic (especially when you need to cater for vegans and vegetarians. We were pleasantly surprised). The pool and gym were also great. This was rounded off by an excellent hotel location.

I called the hotel pre-stay to see if you had availability for Tuesday night - the person I spoke to was rude and unhelpful. Checkin was OK but not friendly. Room service was 40 mins late, didn't have the beer I asked for and the food was cold.

« A weekend in Auckland »

Pleasant stay at Pullman - I really appreciate the free upgrade, as we needed the space for the weekend. Room was neat and tidy. Noticed that the extraction fan in the bathroom don't seem to be doing its job. On the second day, lost the WIFI connection and tried to put in details as before but "cannot find guest". Most annoying bit is that I always have to remind upon check out re Accor member for discount on food etc when it's suppose to be on the reservation. This delays the check out process. And should I suggest free parking for members????

Precruise stay at Pullman. Overall experience was pleasant. However during our check-in, we were not provided with the Welcome & pickup meeting info from cruise line. When inquired about it, Hotel personnel’s didn’t know anything about the letter?? Contacted cruise representative to obtain the info directly. Hotel was suppose to include that info with the intro notice on the facilities.

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived about 2pm & as a Gold Member would have thought it should have been. Arranged a late check out of 1pm the following day but housekeeping knocked on our door before 11 , followed by a phone call to discuss storing our luggage for the day. Went to the pool & couldn't get back to our room as they had only programmed our cards until 11am despite arranging the late checkout before the cards were even issued. Apart from that it was fine. We were only there for a concert (started at 4pm) so did not use the room for much on the Tuesday & were back late that night

a clean room with comfortable beds, but room size is relatively small. Breakfast is up to standard with smoked salmon provided. Near to central Auckland city, easy to get around. Car park is not provided free of charge for in room guest which is a minus. Staff members very courteous.

It was nice but not great. The room was ok but not special. We stay once a year and the other rooms had a little more wow to them. It felt a bit like a student apartment not a hotel feel. Breakfast was full and we almost had to eat in the lobby area and then my son spotted a cockroach come out from under the toaster.
