We stayed with my husband. We enjoyed our stay at your hotel and overall stay in Rio. Staff are friendly, both front desk as well as others- catering, housekeeping etc. Our stay could have been more fulfilled had we not faced language barrier. We were surprised that English was not that common either in the hotel or the city, given that Rio is a very popular tourist destination. It would be very helpful for your guests if you would have a more English conversant choice of staff at the front desk, drivers, travel advice etc. Since I was there as a tourist, I was looking for tourist information on regular basis. I have contacted the front desk on various occasions, they have tried to help with google search. But I was disappointed that a hotel of your caliber did not have a more organized travel section/advisor at hand. Regarding food, I would have loved if you had more changes in your breakfast buffet. The buffet was predictable from day to day. Finally, given the hotel's standard, I would have expected a tea kettle and some complementary tea bags and sugar supplies, water in the room.

« Very pleasant »

the stay was very good, everybody very kind. Services were very good. Rooms were nice but a little small if you are a couple with two babies. Only thing to say is that the beach service is not in charge of the hotel and one day the guy in the beach was delayed and we have to spend an hour without umbrella with 2 little kids with no help from the hotel. Apart than that, everything was great.

The hotel has no generators. The power went off and there were no contingency plan in place. The restaurant did not work, some floors had no emergency light, employees were not prepared to handle the situation, etc. This is very different from other Sofitel and Novotel hotels I’ve been in. Overall experience for the first time was not good at a Accor hotel.

« Good accomodations but poor staff services. »

The hotel is clean, with good accommodations, comfortable bed but staff is not so good. I had a problem when I arrived there is no one to help with my luggage. I was with my wife and baby and only after some minutes a cordial receptionist help us with our bags. I called to governance services to asked by an ironing board and I should call 3x. I think you have opportunity to improve this services to provide a WOW moment for your guests.

Well located, accommodations comfortable, restaurant with alternative to vegan with breakfast with gluten-free bread. The Gyn could have more space and that's the only point of improvement that I thought based on my 2 days. The overall experience was great.
