I just stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The room was excellent and much better than Sofitel in Guangzhou and Beijing, where I also stayed during this trip.

The security service are too strong which made the hotel guest very annoyed. I hope it can remove it after the big conference.

« Terrible check in experience »

Check in at 15:30, it took me an hour with about 50 people in lobby waiting check in, there is a international big meeting in Xiamen early September therefore the security was very tight, the problem is 1. we told by counter only 2 staff know how to check in even there were about 6 people around 2. Everyone need to take photo but the machine was broken down, so down to one camera and desk top to do the job, then about 45 min later one staff turn up and just reset another machine it worked again, 3. So many people in the lobby but did not see anyone try to help or clam down the customer, 4. I am accor member but the priorty line was full of other people therefore serve no purpose. 5. I was given a room but I am not being asked it end up a smoking room full of bad smell, good thing is I asked to change room after dinner I have a non smoking room

Very poor check-in organisation, not warm at all. Strange control at the elevator, again without customer attitude. Poor organisation at the swimming pool, no direction sign, no clear explanation by employees. Overall, lack of hospitality

Business trip to Xiamen for only 1 night. Hotel is located at the centre, close to the restaurants and have a good lack view in the room. Room is clean and comfortable.

Business trip to Xiamen for 1 night only. Hotel is located in the centre area, rooms with the lack view in the higher floor. Room is clean and comfortable and the services are fair enough. However, I made a 2 rooms booking and I reminded the receptionist that I should have 2 rooms points on my account, and finally I only got one. Sent them an email and ask for the follow up but there is no reply then. I think they need to reinforce their follow up servicing.

Earlier failure to respond to two requests for airport transfer confirmation pre-arrival caused confusion. Post arrival we changed from a "luxury" room to a suite as the room was small and lacked chairs and luggage racks and bathroom supplies for two. Suite was nice though absence of ironing board and iron in a suite was unusual.Executive lounge was great, especially staff, but surprisingly empty. Perhaps absence of breakfast buffet was the reason. Generally, all service was good, restaurant was fine, rooms clean, location excellent..

Hotel location was good and its nearby Xiamen International Airport. Staffs are friendly and well behave. However, there are upkeep or maintenance at the hotel surrounding do caused confusion.

Unprofessional front desk, not well trained security staffs but require every guest to pass a gate for face scan before access the elevator. Bad design of the bath room. One of the worst buffet breakfasts I ever had.

« The service does not live up to standard. »

The hotel was not cheap and Pullman has always been one of the best hotels in the world, so I'm expecting service to be Above average. However, it took forever to check in. Seriously FOREVER!!! There were 3 desks with quite a few staff but there was always just one receiptionist who's working while others were doing god knows what. I had to wait for ages and meanwhile there were always people cutting into the line. The receiptionist knew i was there earlier but he/she served the later people anyway probably because I look like a young girl so I'm not important to them compared to all the other older men customers. In the room I asked for one more bottle of shampoo and body lotion and room service said ok. Then they never came. Checkout took forever too because of course there was again only one receiptionist working. You may want to think about hiring more receiptionists who are capable and willing to working, and hopefully who can work faster. I've stayed in sooo many 4-star and 5-star hotels in over 50 countries and this one is definitely not one that I'd ever book ever again.

Stayed two nights on separate days of the week. Both were late checkin but very smooth at reception. Checkout was very early in the morning but still good service and calling a taxi was quick.

I had been staying with Pullman for over 6 years for my numerous business trips, the hotel haven't been renovate and upgrade since my first stay, and the facilities are getting old, I used the executive lodge at 9th floor, the service was good and the staff were friendly. I think the housekeeping quality needed to be improved, as the bathroom and bed are not as clean even after the housekeeping.

« peaceful location great breakfast but in need of some updating »

wouldn't stay here again was not close enough to restaurants and cafes. the rooms were in need of updating as getting a little tired and our room wasn't tidy had to get a maid in to vacuum the floor when we arrived. staff weren't as friendly or professional as other accor branded hotels ive stayed in.
