We had pleasant experience. The staff are helpful and proffesional. The manager revommendation of the chinese restaurants is a good one and we end up eating there whenever its possible. The lounge staff is very helpful too. However, getting a taxi seems to be a bit difficult.

The hotel enjoys a spectacular location, in a huge park and my room had wonderful views overlooking the lake. My room was very comfortable but, the Executive was a bit of a disappointment.

Stayed during a Business Trip. Hotel rooms look new but are already used a lot. Room and Barhroom is clean and offers all you need. Breakfast is Chinese with some choices of western food. Indoor pool is large and Gym is well equipped. Would come again.

Talk about home away from home, Pullman Powerlong is the best in making their guest feel at home. Mr. Jason Yang - Sales Manager and Ms. Scarlett Du at the Front Office has made extra effort to make sure my arrival was swift and efficient such that I was able to freshen up before going out to a very important meeting.

« This time's experience is not satisfactory »

Frankly speaking, the impression which I had at your zhuhai Pullman was excellent, that is why we choose Pullman this time at Xiamen. However, the experience was unsatisfactory. We were place in a room that the air-condition had problem for the first night. When I reserved the room, I mentioned to have a room at the non-smoke floor, but the room left the smoke smell! We had dinner Buffet at the restaurant, the food was terrible and since I did not showed the A+ card, when I told them the next morning, they said they cannot revised the charges for us. ( that was a very bad outcome because we did not check out yet.). One very ridiculous thing is, my friend called at the first night but we notified on the next night. When we called my friend, he was laughing and said how can that be happened to a 5 stars hotel like Pullman. Fortunately, that was nothing important. Besides the above unhappy experience, I need to praise the good food at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. That meal gave a good memory..

The reception staff was not helpful at all, and so was the concierge. We requested a taxi to them, it took very long, when we walked to the back of the hotel, there were alot of taxis around, it seems they were trying to sell us the hotel transport. The airconditioner in room 508 wasn't cold, they sent technician to fix it but it was still not cold. The hotel is very nice and also great surroundings, it is ashamed that the level of lobby service is so bad.

The hotel surrounding was good as there was a river. The surround view could also be enjoyed from the room. The breakfast variety was adequate. The executive lounge required more variety of snack. The swimming pool was nice and clean.

Overall experience is ok. Front desk service is good. Room conditions can be improved. My room TV is not working. Table lamp not working. Exhaust fan in bathroom not working. Room walls need a fresh cover.

« Great Hotel but no special treatment for Accor Member »

I found the hotel very nice. I chose the hotel because I am LeClub Accor Gold member. Unfortunately I did not receive any special treatment, no upgrade, no welcome notice on the room which I usually experience in each Accor hotel. Also the English of the reception team was very poor unfortunately.

« Never experienced such bad service in Accor »

As member of Le Club AccorHotels and inspired by countless great experiences in other Accor Hotels throughout Asia, we decided to stay in Pullman Xiamen, because it was my first stay in Xiamen. Honestly, the stay wasn't worth the money at all. My Impression at check-in was far from the described welcomer in the hotel's introduction manual in the room. I rather had the feeling to annoy the staff due to my arrival. No smile, no warm wishes, just routine. I booked executive floor via Accor's website, thus I had no choice to select park or lake view. Using the chance of leaving a message to the hotel, I kindly asked for a lake view room. And what a surprise at the room: We got a park view! Access from the 10th floor to the executive lounge in the 9th floor was available only via reception, because the key card didn't allow the access at all. Same with the access to the gym/ pool area. The male locker room at gym/ pool terribly smelled of cigarette smoke. The welcome drink coupon includes beer, soft drink or mineral water, only. Considering the room rate I paid is that ridiculous. To be served in the CHA bar & lounge I need to go the bar table. The staff showed no interest to leave this area. The English of the staff was poor. The order of an additional Mojito took a certain time, because the bar staff didn't understand that I wanna pay this drink. Finally I haven't got it, because the bar had no mint leaves. You can be happy that I won't share my experiences on TripAdvisor or any other platform than this. Maybe I simply had bad luck with Pullman Xiamen that time. Only, if this Service is your standard, then put on your website: Guests looking for friendly hospitaly better stay away! Believe it, I won't book Pullman Xiamen ever again.

I just stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The room was excellent and much better than Sofitel in Guangzhou and Beijing, where I also stayed during this trip.

Check in at 15:30, it took me an hour with about 50 people in lobby waiting check in, there is a international big meeting in Xiamen early September therefore the security was very tight, the problem is 1. we told by counter only 2 staff know how to check in even there were about 6 people around 2. Everyone need to take photo but the machine was broken down, so down to one camera and desk top to do the job, then about 45 min later one staff turn up and just reset another machine it worked again, 3. So many people in the lobby but did not see anyone try to help or clam down the customer, 4. I am accor member but the priorty line was full of other people therefore serve no purpose. 5. I was given a room but I am not being asked it end up a smoking room full of bad smell, good thing is I asked to change room after dinner I have a non smoking room

« Not at the expected level »

Very poor check-in organisation, not warm at all. Strange control at the elevator, again without customer attitude. Poor organisation at the swimming pool, no direction sign, no clear explanation by employees. Overall, lack of hospitality
