« Pretty average service wise for a good product »

Was a bit stressful to start as there was a significant waiting time to check in and it would be good to have someone managing the Q during peak arrival times. The front desk agent was polite but dissappeard for while in the middle of check in and came back.. Did not excuse herself nor apologize. Did not point out which way to the elevator and I enquired about the 60 breakfast promo that you displayed at the desk that included the dining voucher and she did not offer to explain further.. After trying twice I gave up. She handed out the wifi code after asking and gave me the wrong password. Had to call the operator to get the correct one. Was given nvweek2 instead of nvweek The rooms are great but you might want to look at the door frame in 1627 as it's coming out and can be dangerous. Also look at the little table, the metal frame is badly stained and the bedside table is chipped

We booked 5 EXECUTIVE ROOM with PREMIER E LOUNGE ACCESS rooms over the weekend from 15th-17th September 2017 and were terribly disappointed with our experience. 1. Upon check-in, the front desk agent was disengaged and was not warm or the least bit friendly. It felt like she could not wait to get us out from her sight (we checked in at the main lobby). Furthermore, she did not share our benefits that came with the Premier Lounge. 2. Rooms were stuffy when we entered, we had to mention it over 4 times and went out for awhile before it got rectified. 3. We came back for cocktail hour. The food spread was pathetic to say the least. We were also told that there were Red/White wine and beer that they would serve us. One of us asked about what is the type of red and white wine but the staff could not understand the question and disappeared. Another staff returned and said that there was no white wine. The rest of the group joined us in the 2nd hour and everyone else wanted red wine (since there was no white available), we were told that both wine were out of stock and it was not possible to get anymore wines. How is it that a hotel of this calibre has no wine throughout the entire hotel? We were promised that there would be stock available the next evening. When we returned the next evening, both red and white wine was available. However, when we wanted some bottled water, we were told that there was NO STOCK. Its puzzling that the entire hotel does not have stock of bottled water. 4. Breakfast was a another huge disappointment both at the lounge and at the main breakfast area. Taste and quality were lacking. The only saving grace is the comfortable bed. It is such a shame as the hotel has lovely aesthetics, but fails to deliver due to lack of training of the staff and quality of F&B.

« Overall experience was just satisfactory »

Overall it was okay. The room on the Premier Lounge floor that we were assigned to was very warm when we entered it. We had paid and requested for 3 pax to a room and the extra bed, toiletries and towels were not prepared. The aircond should have been switched on in advance. Furthermore, after an hour, we found that there was warm air coming out of the air cond and had informed the front desk executive. The technicians came within 5 minutes. They needed some time to fix it so we left the room and informed the front desk executive to change our room. When we got back, our bags were still in the original room and we had to go to the lobby again to request for a new room. We had also asked the hotel staff to move the roll away bed, toiletries and towels to the new room but it was not done. We had to make another call to Front Desk to sort this out. The room size on the Premiere floor should be bigger for the amount that we are paying. Also the water pressure in the bathroom was very low.

« The room was great design wise...but service needs to improve »

The design was great just like the premier floor at Bangkok but it was disappointing premier lounge does not offer all day regulars drinks like water and soft drinks. Had breakfast at the lounge and asked for cold water but the reply was no we don't serve. I hv to commend on the security guard standing front of hotel, he was the only person who will greet, say Hi, good morning each time we walk in and out of hotel. The other staff who sees you at the doorway, at the gym, at the lift lobby simply just ignore you, and even if you happen to have eye contact, they will just walk pass as if you were invisible. The water temp at room 1801 was poor, its either small water flow or just took a long time (more than 5mins) to get warm shower.

To be fair, had little time to enjoy the full facilities with Novotel. Just attended the rooftop function and to the hotel room to rest for the evening. Did not get to enjoy the taste of the morning's breakfast either.

« Nice hotel but poorly maintained »

The pool is dirty, it like we're swimming in a swamp, the wall is like moulding infested, i've asked what is the difference between the superior room and executive they say one of it its the expresso machine, which in our room it doesnt work. Such a pity that this hotel is carrying the name novotel

« Nice hotel but not the front desk... »

I have to wait 30 minutes for check out just because they delay in updating my office address in my invoice even though i have given my biz card during check in (very sad...they just put my biz card at the counter, not together with my related doc)..worse, the front desl officer dont know jow to edit the invoice until his superior coming in...i am silver card member...staying at accor hotel is my priority...but i never experience this before

Be proactive rather than reactive. Please be a team rather than individualistic. As it is now; every basic needs have to be requested. When requested; front office push to house keeping; this is not an international brand name hotel service.

« Clean room but disappointing pool »

Overall the 3 day 2 night stay was good. Room was clean and view is good. One of the poorest review in the stay is the pool. The pool lacks maintenance. Pool is quite dirty. Have also witness 2-3 people falling around the pool. From safety aspect, it is 1 out of 10. Can seriously beef up the maintenance of the pool and pool area. Thanks! Yew M.
