« Some room for imptovement »

-need better communication to guests ( e.g. not many knew about the special dinner events. Perhaps in room flyers every morning ? - coffee at breakfast was horrible! You need a better coffee machine - very good eggs station. The guys cooking the eggs really knew what they were doing - very nice property but needs much better maintenance. Dirty pools of water and wooden floor boards coming apart. - nice pool, but only one in the whole hotel? The other one was so small we weren't sure if it was just a water feature or a pool... - no shower by the pool! Not very hygienic. Guests need a rinse before entering the Pool, don't you think? - internet is lousy. Keeps getting disconnected. Not on just one device but all of our devices. When we asked the reception to do something, they sent a guy who couldn't do anything either. My guess us you need a larger bandwith connection to serve all your guests

We loved the enormous infinity pool. The tub was amazing in the room. View of the tea garden from the room. Check in was smooth and staff all eager to help and assist.

« Not enough for kids »

The hotel is beautiful but there are not enough amenities for kids. I missed a Ping pong table, pool table or sth where the family can spend time together. The restaurant food was too expensive so it was cheaper to taxi to Chiang Mai and back plus dinner. Not enough vegan options

« Loved the infinity pool and size of the rooms »

The resort was very nice. The rooms we were in was spacious. The service was very good. The only disappointment was there was tiny little ants in the room, especially when we have food in the room. Also the complimentary drink they give you as a Platinum member was limited to 2 drink choice. The restaurant’s food was good, not overly priced. I would recommend this resort and would stay again when back in Chiang Mai.

« Great potential let down by poor maintenance/inconsistency »

First impression was great as the setting of the lobby and check in process was lovely, welcoming, etc Once settled the cracks quickly appear and really let down the experience/holiday 1. Villa with broken glasses - caused a few of us to bleed (lucky wasn’t the baby) 2. Insufficient/lack of cleaning/turn down service (eg most nights sweet was dropped off without any rooms/surface being cleaned/checked, room service food/plates left outside by villa not collected overnight into late morning) 3. Insects everywhere (not the odd ones but army of them) inside the villa (bathrooms) as well as outside in patio/swimming pool 4. Many areas in disrepair with essential appliances not working, cracks & peeling paints/grouting commonly seen, discoloured/worn surfaces, battered wood/exposed nails, water damaged wall/ceiling etc clearly on show at villa and in public common area eg the main pool is not safe to walk around without flip flops due to exposed nails and broken wooden floorboards Most of the staff particularly the buggy driver and restaurant staff are generally very nice, with a few odd unfriendly ones overall the setting of hotel is great and have a lot of potential but sadly didn’t feel like we got a 5* hotel experience, not to mention a presidential one

« Disappointed experience »

Cannot image it is managed by Accor. It is definitely not five star standard even not four star. There was a croakroach in our living room and staff just came to clean it simply without apology. The infinite pool was closed to guests for half a day because of other people ‘s weeding ! So we have no chance to swim in that pool during our stay. No soap in the room unless we request by phone. The packs of brush in lavatory are opened !! The food quality in Resturant is so poor but the price definitely beyond Thai standard. The cleanliness in our bedroom is also very unsatisfaied. Overall, this was a bad experience and very disappointed me especially as member of Accor .

My dream destination with the signature infinity pool on top of the building that I’d like to be here. Maybe once is enough as the price is high for normal salary girl like me. « Very nice stay, small details to be improved »

Staff and hotel is generally nice but we have noticed some small improvements to be done: - website : discrepancy between title of room and room description. Anyway very well managed by the staff on arrival. - no bar : not an issue but better to inform customer before as if you want to have a drink after dinner, it might be disappointing - general works : the environment is so nice and the hotel is so pretty! Nevertheless some improvements could be done such as grass around the pool (not in a good shape therefore you have soil on foot) or surroundings of plunge pools. General impression that no general manager to coordinate everything and to show off to guests.
