« Lobby smells food. Room smell smoke »

No good at all. Lobby was not clean and it smelled fried food. Room was clean, but it smelled smoke although I asked for non-smoking room. Hotel seems to be 15 years; it has been not managed well and it needs a better management to reflect Accor's ambience.

1. I did not got room as per my choice 2. Though I am accor member for more than 7 years, I was asked to pay in advance which otherwise they did not ask - I am staying at ibis Olaya street, Riyadh for past 4 years and they never ask money in advance. 3. The room key they gave was not working and I have to come back twice to the reception for re-activation! 4. The reception guy (Saudi gentleman) needs to be more polite with customers and attend their quries with care - My experience was not so good here 5. The buffet is a waste of money for vegitarian as hardly there is anything to eat though the charge is SAR105 pax.!

I had much better experience with ibis hotels: - Ibis Dubai in 2012 very nice stay. - ibis styles makkah from 30 May to 3 june was very good stay. and I'm back for 2 days 8 to 10 june. - ibis riyadh from 3 to 6 june not very satisfied with the hotel: first they gave me a dirty room and I have photos of that they accepted to change me the room of course but the hotel was not very clean, corridors with non cleaned carpets and a bad smell in the lifts

I arrived at the hotel around 12:30 a.m. but there was no one there! no one at the reception, or at the back office or the manager room. not even a bellboy. It was like a ghost hotel! the only one there was another guest who was waiting at the lobby. eventually after half an hour some cleaning guy showed up and we asked for his help. He started making some phone calls and at 1:30 a receptionist finally showed up and checked us in. The worst part is there was no emergency number for us to contact. I checked on ibis website and couldn't find anything. only some email addresses. While I was waiting, I started calling other ibis hotels in the region asking them for senior manager contacts or anyone else who can help us. one supervisor at ibis trade center in Dubai asked how did I make my reservation. When I answered "booking.com", she said that there is nothing she can do and I have to contact booking.com to sort the issue!!

Room was nice but housekeeping needs to improve significantly. Room was not cleaned properly, wooden floors were sticky, had to ask for tissue box, refilling shower jel (even after housekeeping). Dustbin was not cleared for 3 days. No slippers in the room. A bit smelly washroom and water used to get drained very slowly which makes a mess while taking shower.

Your property is very good. I like the location and the service is excellent. I was in Room 110 and the shower didn't drain properly. I let reception know and went out for breakfast. I came back and the room smelled terrible of sewer gas. Then the next morning, the shower STILL did not drain well.

Staff at the check in was a bit rude, when I reached to the room I called him to ask for room change as the AC was not working in the room he gave, he spoke to me in away that he doesn’t like my request for room change, then he hanged the phone without allowing me to complete my discussion in a very rude way! So I called him again and told him that you hanged the phone while I am taking, he didn’t even apologize or seem to care !!

Over all good, satisfying. I suggest there should be iron in each and every room. Should have more vegetarian options in the menu. One of the equipment was not working in the gym for many days this means regular check is not happening.
