« Nice hotel, service needs to improve. »

The hotel is a nice hotel. My heater was stuck on and my room was 30 degrees C. I notified the front desk and they sent maintenance up to review. He showed the room was 30 degrees C. Basically the heat was stuck on, even though I had the temperature set at 19 degrees C. He told me the temperature would drop slowing. I waited an hour and it was still hot. I called the receptionist and asked to be moved to another room. The only accommodation was to send someone up to open the window. This is not acceptable! I was told there was not a room at the rate I booked my room. I asked to be upgraded or downgraded to a room that had a working AC/Heater. The receptionist would not accommodate. When checking out I told the person at the front desk the issue and I should not be charged the final night. After getting our local HR manager involved with the GM of the hotel they agreed to drop the final night charge. I stay in a hotel 70-80 nights a year. This clearly was one of the worst customer service experiences and the team needs to be trained on how to handle these issues better.

« Uncomfortable room conditions »

The thermostat control in the rooms is terrible. I can never cool the room down enough to be comfortable when it is hot outside. Even worse, when the weather cooled down during my last visit the air switched from cooling to heating. My room became so hot that I was totally uncomfortable and could not sleep. When this happened there was no way to cool the room off, the air conditioning had been disabled. Every other aspect of the hotel is fantastic. However, if the thermostat issue does not get resolved I will have to find a new hotel to stay in.

« Very pleasant »

Everything was great until you shut the air conditioning off at night. You should keep the air conditioning running all night and let the guests adjust the temperature in the room with there thermostat. It would get quite warm in the room without the air conditioning. As your hotel was booked we spent several nights at the Hoilday Inn before moving to the Pullman. The Holiday Inn does not shut down the air conditioning at night.

1. I set a wake up call on my first night for 0530 the next morning. I was almost late to my meeting as I woke up at 0615 for a 0630 meeting. When calling down to the service desk they said yes they have me for a 0530 wake up call but the system was broken for several days and could not make the call. I should have been informed when I made the 0530 request that the system was broken. 2. The room temp was not controllable. The room was very hot and I could not get the AC working to cool it down for the 5 days I was there.

Every thing good excepts car parking. I come to ZH almost every week and stay Pullman but most of time unable to get a parking space in entrance level although there are many parking space available. Parking at basemen also not easy to get parking space nearby hotel entrance, it makes me feel uncomfortable and inconvenient.
