Overall is good except for the breakfast service. I asked for another cup of coffee and the lady in black came back with a dirty cup (suspected she just refilled mine) without bothering to bring a saucer with it. Naturally, I did not dare to drink it.

« Unexpected relax trip in Zhuhai »

I got a fantastic stay in Pullman Zhuhai Hotel particularly the staffs from Executive Lounge such as Grace and Gordon. They provided an excellent services to us. The Chinese Restaurant also good no matter the food or service. I will definitely be back in the near future. Hope the team keep their high quality performance until my return.

I stayed 2 nights at Pullman Zhuhai during Christmas holiday booked under Accor Le Club membership. Requested an early check-in, higher floor and telling Reservation Manager it's a trip to celebrate my husband's birthday with kids. Hotel has upgraded us to Executive floor room, we received a birthday cake, Christmas cake & welcome fruit! Both Front desk staff, Concierge staff are friendly and very helpful providing excellent services (better than Hong Kong & other Worldwide). Reservation Manager replied email promptly and arranged such a memorial birthday to us.

Great Hotel with very nice service, nice swimming pool at city center. Buffet Breakfast was ok. There are many restaurants around hotel with big shopping mall and a cinema. I think this is the best hotel in Zhuhai

Our first visit to Zhuhai, and our first stay with Pullman. Our taxi driver did not recognise the hotel name, but it appears that most taxi drivers will recognise "Midtown" instead. Hotel lobby was well decorated and presented. Concierge was excellent, very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Front desk staff was a little less helpful and friendly. We weren't expecting much with our Le Club Platinum membership. We weren't offered a complimentary upgrade which was understandable as it was a weekend. We weren't told about any facilities at the hotel nor any benefit we could enjoy at the hotel with our Le Club membership. We were given two vouchers for welcome drinks though. When we asked to confirm if our room came with complimentary breakfast for two we were told that there's only breakfast for one, and that there's nothing they can do about it as we have booked directly on the accorhotels.com website. It's a rather strange explanation. The room was well decorated, clean and well lit. There are two power sockets at each side of the bed which fits plugs from most countries. The view was not great as we have been given a room facing the front of the hotel, which has a massive construction site. There wasn't much construction work going on on the weekend so we barely heard any noise. We requested for late check out on the night before, thinking that a late check out on a Monday should be easier to accommodate as the hotel should be less busy. We have also asked what benefit does Le Club Platinum membership enjoy and also to confirm if it comes with complimentary late check out. The front desk staff (rather reluctantly) agreed for us to check out by 1.30pm and told us that a half-day rate applies if we check out later. He has also told us that “at our hotel, there is no difference between a Platinum member and an ordinary guest”. I was not aware that a Le Club Platinum status is worth so little at Pullman, I have certainly been treated much better at places like Mercure, Novotel and other hotel chains. Overall it is a nice hotel at a good location. Concierge was brilliant. We have picked this hotel over those at the HengQin island for our visit to the Chimelong theme park because of the Le Club membership. Overall our first stay at Pullman has been an average experience. We were not expecting much for our Platinum status and have not been unreasonable in our requests. We must say that we have been quite disappointed by how we were treated.

Stayed 4 nights in this Hotel..Recent upgrade from Novotel to Pullmann is fully justified. It's very stylish and timeless upper level furnished, higher as Novotel. Location is in a small shopping center with lots of restaurants and bars, perfect for leisure time. Room is spacy in top maintained condition, and for sure clean. Chinese Restaurant offers rich choice of delicious dishes, Friday and Saturday they offer Buffet dinner, offering seafood bu not only . It's either delicious and value for money. Lounge is cosy and offrers some drinks - noo snacks and also breakfeast is only available in the restaurant. Well, there is more space and so there is a bigger variety of food possible. Also positive to mention: Windows can be opened! Week spot they aircon didn't really cool down the room

I booked 2 nights in this hotel (I booked an extra one at the last minute, at massive cost). The hotel is in a lovely part of Zhuhai and on arrival the reception area is magnificent, so big and so clean and the staff greeting was a really nice touch. We were booked in an executive room on floor 20 with executive lounge access. The lounge was really weird, we were told it was open from 7am to 11pm, but that was all we were told. On the first evening at about 6 we went up, had a drink and thought we would have some food, the offer was negligible, and there were 5 pots with warm food. The pot marked spring rolls had only 2 spring rolls, the pot mark kebab similarly only had 2. The range and quantity of food was paltry especially in comparison to Marriott. (this needs a serious re think as it does spoil the occasion and makes the extra you pay for access a bit of a waste of money). The last night we went up about 9pm and could not get an alcoholic drink as we were told that is only served between 5:30 and 7:30, pity no one bothered to tell us on arrival. The bedroom was great with full length windows giving a great view. It was very clean and well laid out (10 out of 10 for that). The hotel was very busy as it was spring festival but breakfast was superb, massive range of both Eastern and western foods all regularly replenished. The staff throughout the hotel were super. The hotel address is Mid Town, but that is the name of the shopping complex next to it, it is a 15 min taxi ride to the town centre / beach, not a hassle but if you want to be close to beach then this is not the hotel for you.

Nice hotel . However , the hotel needs to train their staff to speak English especially the housekeeping staff. Staff are courteous . Good pool and Gym. I am an accor member and My accor points didn't get updated after the stay. I hope they are updated soon.

Overall service is good. All the staffs are helpful & professional. Upgrade to executive floor, room is clean, but near the working elevator, it created the noise, make me feel little bit uncomfortable. Hope to improve it.

AC not working properly, room on Executive floor smaller than standard rooms, no bathtub in the Executive floor room. However this I can take, but, the poor service is something I cannot take. The attitude of the staff reminds me of the early 90s "stay or get out" scenario. This is the second time the hotel over charged me breakfast. after length arguments with the front desk manager they agree to refund 98, which they agreed charged me twice. they refuse to refund the rest four overcharges. The manger said if I refund you it would be out of my own pocket. I now hope I didn't made number of prepaid bookings with this hotel. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

« Hot night in the city »

This is a lovely hotel, but it has its problems, AC does not work in the room, we had to change the room 2 times to try and get a room were the AC was working, and after complaining to the manger we where offered a free up grade, only to be placed in same standard of room I had book, so again back to the manager and again a room change back yo the same Her room I booked. No free upgrade and an room were the AC would not go below 24c, are plans for the evening were ruined and due to the heat in the room no one was getting much sleep. The staff are unaware if the hotel offers, and needed to show them on their web site what offers this hotel had, very very poor, but lovely looking hotel, even staff members told use not all the rooms AC work, well maybe they should fix it. Will not be rushing back to this hotel any time soon. Till the AC is working and staff get better understand of special offers from this hotel group. Maybe also some understanding of what a free upgrade is.......... J Hamill
