« Room was as cold as a freezer »

Not so good. Room was so cold the aircon did very little to heat it up. Hard to find parking They want £7 a night for that. Definitely won't stay there again.

Not Ok, the hotel needs a refurbishment, the walls were chipped, also the floor, the heater was noisy, the bathroom had some rusty appliances.

Sent an email about my stay but received no feedback. Room was dirty and constant noise from outside. Smoke drifted into my room at 8am from people outside. Rooms need some serious TLC. Staff were average. Parking was extra without mention on website

COMFORTABLE.CLEAN ROOM AND BATHROOM.UNFORTUNATELY VERY STRONG SMELL OF PAINT(ROOM 202).GOOD CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. WEBSITE NOT CLEAR:MENTIONS DOUBLE ROOM ON DESCRIPTION AND PRICE BUT LATER INDICATES ONLY ONE PERSON.I RANG YOUR CENTRAL TELEPHONE CENTRE FOR CLARIFICATION:WAS ON PHONE 30 MINUTES AND THIS COST ME APPROX £10-00 IN CALL CHARGES AND EVEN THEN MY TELEPHONE WAS NOT ANSWERED--:VERY POOR SHOW. ALI AT RECEPTION WAS VERY HELPFUL,COURTEOUS AND PLEASANT AND MADE OUR STAY PLEASANTER

Pleasant staff, good breakfast; one or two issues with the room - first one was just above air-con units and very noisy but we were moved to a quieter room, no problem. This was rather cold and there are no instructions on how to get the heating going! Managed in the end but had to use two duvets.

Amazing stay at ibis Croydon.staff are super helpful, room is like a 5 star hotel. Stayed twice, going back again this weekend.its a great place for the price and.location and the staff bend over backwards to make it feel extra special!

Checked in room and the heater wasn't working so had to inform reception and they sent an engineer who had to reset the heating and it started to work. The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was wee on the toilet seat so had to inform reception again and they came to check the room. The reception changed our room and give 2 free complimentary drinks vouchers. I was due to go out that evening but had to cancel because it got late and didn't get a chance to use the drink vouchers

« Ok stay but could be better »

Check in was good. But room had a strange bleach like smell. Was kept awake by noise and vibration of the air conditioning units on the flat roof outside my room. No chair or desk in room. Hot water in the bathroom took ages to get hot. Continental Breakfast was ok but could have done with starting half hour earlier. Bar area was small but ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel had a strange layout. Overall not a bad stay taking into account the rate.

« Again terrible when I stayed two weeks ago room 312 no hot water again room 112 no hot water all weekend »

Again a total disaster and the staff don’t care they didn’t even give me any response as to why now twice there is no hot water to wash/shower it’s to me not acceptable if you look you will see I am a member and have stayed there regularly with my work in that area I hope I get a answer to me paying for accomadation with no hot water is not acceptable

« Sheets not tidy and no hot water in the morning »

The room was not very tidy compared to other IBIS/Novotel and Accor hotels I have used. The bed sheets also looked a bit dirty. Lastly, there was no hot water to use in the morning. A colleague of mine in another room also complained about the hot water

The heating was not working all night, and the room was very cold.attendance was fine but nothing was done to bring the heating up.Hot water takes ages to come. Improve on breakfast is needed. Staff were polite and friendly.
