SORRY ACCORHOTELS TEAM It was very bad Hotel It’s not Ibis standard, Room was not clean, very bad smell in hotel (i guess color), Entrance door was not working we have to go via back door and back door was also not working properly, parking was not available even hotel reception told us that they have enough parking available, Room was dirty every where was hairs, In Room coming hot water, overall very bad experience with Ibis Croydon London. Please try to give me compensation for that.

Hotel smells musty the view from the window was a brick wall and air con units I have asthma and the smell made me feel ill mybSon was on the second floor and the corridor and room stank up there too really needs investigating

Great hotel, lovely spacious room with good disabled facilities. Light airy and clean. Good comfy beds. Great choice at breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, Make your stay special. Good location and ample parking too! Thoroughly Reccomend. Will go again soon!

« not what i would expect from a big chain »

i was very disappointed. the quality of the rooms was terrible. the bed was like sleeping on the floor very low and as hard as rock. couldn’t use the sockets in headboard as no room for the cable. nowhere to plug in straighteners near the mirror. breakfast people were taking 10’s of croissants unstopped leaving shortage. terrible experience all round

Overall very good. Can I suggest improving your evening meal menu? I was dissatisfied and would not choose to eat in on my next visit unless you improve. The water was cold when I needed it early in the morning so I could not shower. Everything else was fine!

« Dirty bedsheets in every room offered! »

Book in was 2pm onwards Fri 23 March. Although, we arrived at night sat 24th March 12:45am (maybe later), we just needed a place to sleep. Nice big double bedroom had kettle, tea/coffee, shower room, place to hang clothes, everything was perfect until pulled the bed sheets back and found large pale brown patches of stains on mattress sheet! Then on closer inspection bits of hair, furry black bobble bits. We soon realised this effect ran everywhere on the pillow case, over and under the sheets, you could pick the bobble bits off! It was everywhere. Even on the cream hand towels in the bathroom. We flagged it up with reception, who sent a security guard to go along with us and check it and take photos. No apology was given by poker faced reception lad, absolutely nothing mentioned. We're not one for confrontation and arguing either, thought perhaps he was worried. Let it be. Once done, we were offered another room. That room's bedsheets were identical! We had to be up early in the morning and after 3.5hrs of driving into Croydon we were absolutely shattered, we just wanted to crash! At this rate we were going to be up all night! So we decided to just bottle it and sleep in our out-door clothes on top of the bed/duvet. We used our thick coats as blankets and left the heater on (extremely frustrating, had to take it off part way because I couldn't sleep with the loud sound of it). Having not had a peaceful nights sleep, we couldn't wait to get out of that room. Though the early morning staff at the desk were a lot politer and the breakfast selection was great and all tabkes, utensils, bowls, plates, cups etc were clean. From the pictures on the website it looked pretty good. Colourful and bright and spacious. But obviously you can't see the Condition of the bed sheets from a picture! But we wouldn't book a 3-star hotel ever again, at ibis or anywhere else for that matter...if this is the condition of the beds. Only reason we booked it was because, at last minute, in fact day before, Thu 22nd March did I book the hotel as it was the only one with a twin-bedroom available and was smack-bang across from the Hospital destination where we needed to be.

We found this hotel via a promotion on Accorhotels.com and didn't pay full price, which in the end was the only good reason to book it. The staff & service were kind and professional and I have nothing bad to say about the service, but the rest of the experiencing was disappointing to say the least.

We were offered a room next to the stairs however, due to light sleep, other room was offered away from stairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average without any hot items. Also we found free parking next to the hotel which was safe. Overall, really happy with out stay.

After my disappointment as Platinum Member that I was initially given a small basement room (152) I was moved to a better larger room with a window! Ali, Assistant Manager, was very friendly and professional in resolving the issue. Breakfast is as usual continental but no hot upgrade is proposed. Breakfast room is light and airy. Bed was a little low but very comfortable.

I have given a high score because of your helpful friendly staff I arrived late x feeling very tired so appreciated being greeted by happy smiling faces which made me feel they enjoy their work . The room was basic x carpets a bit grubby x worn ,but I would return to stay as your staffing choices are excellent . When I left I forgot my hot water bottle which is in a really old cover ,which has a great deal of sentimental value to me ,I called x spoke to Ionela Dilca who again was very friendly x really helpful I would like to congratulate u all x a special mention for Ionela
