« Great Start, Problematic End »

Check in went by without much fanfare. Ok staff, quick turn around of key card, no one offered to help with our bags. Upon arriving in the room, i would say that it was comfortable enough for the 1 night we booked. We had some problems with airconditioning but chose to not report as we we're really just going to stay for one night anyway. Location was great as its located in the ortigas area. Fast forward to check out the next day, we were surprised that room service charged our room. Took the staff a couple of minutes to verify that we had not ordered anything. But that was actually the least of our worries as we were very surprised to see an unattended car blocking our car when we arrived in the basement parking. To our surprise, we learned that it was the owner of the parking spot the security guard told us to park in. He left his car the night before and took off. We received no advisory of this during our entire stay. The Security of the building had the decency to just point fingers and say that we were wrong when we specifically asked him, the reception at the ground level, and the reception at the lobby if we parked at the right parking space at B4 upper number 8 even when there was a sign saying "reserved". We have stayed in so many hotels all over the world, and this is the first time something so stressful has happened to us (even with the multiple assurances from the hotel staff). I was disappointed because i didn't want to inconvenience the owner of the parking space (who thankfully left mid-day without an encounter), and ruin the rest of our day. Staff was quick to explain and say sorry, but basically was not willing to do anything else but call or message me the next day when the offensive vehicle has unblocked the way out. Not a ride anywhere or what not, just a "Sorry". Hope hotel can fix that problem and deal with that security guard as he is such a nuisance and way too naive for his job.

This hotel has a big air conditioning problem, so you can choose: - No air conditioning ( 36 degress) - yes air conditioning (16 degrees) everything in the middle is forbidden.

It’s a good hotel with absolutely awesome staff. Restaurant closing at 10PM and no way to eat or drink anything after that time is a bit of a shame!

It was a better property than I would expect from Mercure brand. I didn't get room on high floor though I asked for it. The wifi speed was not good and should be much better.

« In general OK but breakfast was very bad. »

5 nigths for business, hotel was clean, staff friendly, location good. Breakfast was terrible, either the cold buffet was empty or the fruit was overdue or the bread was so hard that I cold not break it. Every morning another surprise.

Our stay at your hotel was simply amazing. The Staff were excellent. We have never experienced such wonderful service and we have travelled quite a bit. They were genuinely happy to serve and at every level it was apparent. They were most polite and extremely helpful in getting us whatever we needed including direction to various places in the city. The Breakfast was also very good with a variety of local dishes every day. We were able to say that from Breakfast alone we sampled almost every Philippine culinary delight.
