5 nigths for business, hotel was clean, staff friendly, location good. Breakfast was terrible, either the cold buffet was empty or the fruit was overdue or the bread was so hard that I cold not break it. Every morning another surprise.

Our stay at your hotel was simply amazing. The Staff were excellent. We have never experienced such wonderful service and we have travelled quite a bit. They were genuinely happy to serve and at every level it was apparent. They were most polite and extremely helpful in getting us whatever we needed including direction to various places in the city. The Breakfast was also very good with a variety of local dishes every day. We were able to say that from Breakfast alone we sampled almost every Philippine culinary delight.

I enjoyed staying here. Staffs were nice, location was great, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, etc. The only downside was that it was unable to turn down or off the in-room air conditioning. Nice to have a cooled room, however, room temperature was way too low for me.

I've been to few hotels, and Ive seen how big the rooms are comparing them to costs. Mercure is a fairly new hotel so I've decided to see it too. It wasn't bad as room service are quite good and the room doesn't smell like you are in an old musty building. There are some comment tho that I would like for the management to know and maybe improve. 1. The AC system I think is out of control. I always turn them off when I go in as I feel cold. But even when it is off I can still here the vent blowing near the door and it still cools down the room and I was forced to just stay under the sheets to keep warm. I know some people likes it cold but there's a reason why we have AC to control temps. Overall it really felt uncomfortable sleeping. One thing I liked tho are the pillows and bed, they are quite nice it really counts to have soft bed and more than two pillows, so thumbs up on that. 2. It would be nice to have at least a small table for two or three. You see before the start of a day people tends to talk what to do and plan ahead. We can do those things in the cafeteria where we had breakfast but to some that would be rude and definitely troublesome to swallow when talking at the same time, and to some people they would rather stay in their room and eat some and return to bed. Not all people work during day time, in my line of work I usually have to follow any schedule my team is on, day or night doesn't matter. 3, After a days work upon returning to my room, I usually needs to sit down and watch tv for news or movie till I feel sleepy, have something to eat or have a cup of coffee to relax while watching. Sad to say can't do it at Mercure. I don't want to sit on the bed and eat, as it is prone to accident like spilling coffee on the sheet or having food sauce stain on them. There's a table for laptop provided but it's way too close to the TV not to mention the angle is really bad plus the chair is not the one you can relax on. So overall compared to other hotel rooms I've seen, the one nearby have better space offered on the same cost but with older rooms. Mercure only stepped up because of newer facilities. Service wise all is the same, we even get newspapers on some. I hope these helps Mercure team to up their services as I see it will be difficult to compete with hotels nearby.

Room was decently sized and bed is comfortable. A relatively short walk to the Podium and still within walking distance to SM Megamall and Shangri-la Plaza. Prize is affordable but still high quality.
