The hotel has a nice location, walking distance to restos, convenience store and mall. It also has a very comfortable bed and pillow (not too high).

We've always been satisfied with our stay at Mercure. Something new to note was for the first time, I had a bellman assist me from the ground floor lobby (San Miguel Entrance). It was great and I felt important and didn't have to carry all my stuff alone going to the lobby. I hope that service will be more consistent in the future.

nice hotel, it is. Great food great room. nothing to complain. but i have problem with my php4000 from my credit card refund. It is charged when i checked in, but more than 10 days passed, and i still dont get it back! I stayed in mercure manila july 27-31, total 4 nights. Please can somebody help?

For a four-star hotel, I expected better. From a service standpoint, the staff at Mercure Ortigas was very lovely and accommodating and the room service was quite good. However, a few negative points stand out. -- There's a very unpleasant odour in the main lobby. -- The hotel is very poorly lit on both the Amethyst St. and San Miguel Ave entrance at night. -- The airport transfer was ridiculously priced, especially when I inquired about rates directly with the provider. -- My airport transfer was late when I arrived in Manila––no one was waiting for me with my name on a placard, I never received contact details to reach out to on-ground staff at NAIA or to my driver. -- I was charged a no-show fee despite informing the hotel that I was booking my room from the night before my arrival as my flight got in at 4:20 AM so that I could check-in straight away upon arrival.

I love the location because it is near to the places I need to go. I love the courteous staff at the front desk, conceirge (front door) and the resto. I hate the way housekeeping is handled, they are noisy while cleaning. A lot of bumps and blags during the cleaning of the rooms beside mine. The door to the housekeeping keeps open and close till wee hours of the morning, it didn't made me sleep. I am a traveller and I can say there is a way to handle these things. It is actually my first time to experience a housekeeping that has a loud bangs during cleaning. You can also make a note (a pleasant one) for the guest and employees to keep noises down from 10 pm till 5 am maybe, as this is my experience with other accor hotels that I've been. My room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The coffee cups wasn't cleaned as well as my glasses for waters. They forgot to put a bar of soap and the kit with cottons. Guest would appreciate if you added a hair brush. The housekeeping that cleaned my room forgot their keycard on the holder. I love that you have the same toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion) with the mercure hotels in europe. I love your facilities by the way.

Hotel itself was okay, but staff could use some training. Front desk service quite disappointing (whispering in front of guests). The security guards seem to have better manners than front desk.

I have stayed here several times now and have found the staff to be very warm and welcoming. The housekeeping staff seem to be very 'on the ball' and attentive. The only issue I face every time is I am not able to turn off the air-conditioning in the room when it gets too cold. I end up having to turn off the 'circuit breaker' in order to do it.

Room is nice and clean. Your room service may need some improvement. When i ordered an iced tea it took almost an hour to deliver and the funny thing is the waiter a bucket full of ice instead of iced tea. Then he quickly ran down to replace it.

Overall satisfied airconditioner is hard to get temperature controlled as I wanted. Higher level rooms are a bit better but Lower levels does not have view. They are facing the next building. It's very convenient to walk around for meetings in Ortigas area, especially Tektite.

Bad experience die to nasty smell and bad food

The building doesn't look like 4 star hotel (3 star max). But the worst is a nasty stinch in the elevators, lobby and first floor. The staff pretends that they didn't know about it and promise to fix it but nothing changes. The room service food was really bad - meat want properly cooked and it's quality was pretty low.
