« a bit worse comparing to the past »

I had a cold room, the A/C which is used also as a heating, was very noisy and not working properly. I complained, a service man was supposed to come, but nothing changed. I survived as during the whole week I used the room only for sleeping, but it would not be very pleasant to stay there longer. Also the cleaning lady always left the window open (which doesnt help to get warmer...). There was a group of young people during my stay and they were hanging out in lobby in front of the lifts - I wonder if it is ok to have 'picknics there (bring your own food, drinks and watch movies on a laptop)'?

« Very clean and helpful staff »

Stayed for a week and must say I was really happy with the overall service. the staff were respectful and very helpful and the location worked for me. I could easily get to the main train station and all the other offices I had to visit. The area was quiet and this worked for me as well as I preferred a hotel away from he hustle and bustle of town.

« Serve yourself, that's first world service for you! »

As expected, you are paying for what you get - nothing more, nothing less, just a place to sleep. Having been pampered by the services of hotels in developing countries, Ibis Geneva is a practical place to stay. Comparatively cheap compared to other hotels in Geneva, you can have a comfortable bed (with nice clean and fresh sheets upon check-in) and a modest breakfast to boot your day. Oh, and you can feel safe too!

« Great stay... As always! »

We travel to Geneva quite regularly with work, and this hotel has become like a second home to us. Great atmosphere, design and service, all in equal proportion. There's nothing we don't like about this hotel, other than when we can't book in as it gets busy! Absolute gem!

« Bedbugs, service lacking. »

First impressions were great- awesome lobby. Took a while for someone to answer the front door which is always locked. Room was standard. Breakfast was hit or miss- they didn't restock it quickly so sometimes there was plenty and other times there was a small selection. The last morning as I was getting up to take a flight out I found several bedbugs sharing my bed, and had spots from where they bit me. I mentioned this to the front desk who impartially said they would take care of it. I will stay away from Ibis in the future.

« Visually appealing spaces, but lacking some of the nicer amenities. »

Pros: Good breakfast, both hot and cold options. Cons: I had a room at the end of the hallway. The room was quite small. There wasn't much storage space in the room and some additional space was wasted by a cabinet that wasn't functional (i.e. it didn't open).

« I had not been before to Geneve , but in the IBIS Hotel in Geneve centre Nations I felt as if I was home. »

The room, the bed and the toilet were all on the point. There were staff in the reception that I miss them still now. in the pub I met a nice lade called Haiwan, maybe, that was an example of good staff.

« Room allocated should never have happened - Very poor hotel management. »

I arrived late on Sunday 21st January and was allocated a room that the previous guest must have smoked in (room 337). The smell was very strong, pretty disgusting, but as it was late. I was very tired and had an early start the next day. I chose to open the window and go straight to bed, thinking it would clear. That never happened and I awoke a few times in the night to the very unpleasant smell. The next day I asked to change rooms, ideally that evening when I returned from meetings, only to be told I would have to do it that morning. I couldn't face another moment in the room so changed and that made me late for my meeting. I later found out from a colleague that he had been given the same room 30 MINUTES BEFORE me but on entering had refused and returned to the desk to get another room. Room 337 should IMMEDIATELY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL THOROUGHLY CLEANED AND NOT REALLOCTED. I would also ask why house cleaning staff are not told to report such incidents and the situation is then rectified instead of guests having to experience such situations? Its also pointless having 'No Smoking' notices if the hotel take no action when this happens!

« No hot water. »

I was at the hotel for 3 days. On the second day there was no hot water and was forced to take a cold shower. I asked at the front desk about reducing the price of the room, but the answer was no. The management should have done something to compensate their customers for this inconvenience.

« Great value hotel »

Great staff, comfortable rooms, good location. The only drawback was really slow service for food in the evening. Atrocious weather meant we couldn’t go outside so the restaurant and bar were busy but service was still very, very slow.
