Comfortable, friendly stay, but neither hotel nor in-house restaurant was aware of pre-paid dinner organised in advance via the Accor website. Get your act together, guys; you can't offer options (and cost savings) on your own website and then not be aware of them...

I had already check-in online and had to go through more when we arrived. Gentleman was pleasant but we found him hard to understand, but someone else told us what he was saying. Deposit taken for full amount but did not include accor membership deduction. When mentioned I was told that they would deduct off the final bill! Strange way of doing things, so the next day they deducted the amount, Bit of a waste of time. As to the 2 rooms. Clean and comfortable, sham about looking over the dustbin area!. Would I stay again, doubtful!

Hotel located in the city centre - close to British Museum - by the busy Southampton Road. I asked for quiet room and I got a room with backyard view. However this wasn't any better that the street view, because thera are fans that make a big noise. Apart of that, a smell from a restaurant downstair made possible to keep the window open at all time. The room wasn't big and it was on the 2nd floor although in a note with the booking I asked to get higher floor. The selection for breakfast was less then average for a hotel of this class. Commuting with centre of London is poor. The closes Underground station - Holborn offers Central and Piccadilly line. Tottenham Court Road is too far for a walk, imo. I staid in few other Accor hotels in London (Novotel and Mercury) and this one scores the lowest on my list.

-Great staff from the concierge to housekeeping -The room was cozy and the bed comfortable -Food was outstanding -The location was great, close to a lot of shops and train stations -It was a bit challenging trying to get taxi or getting dropped off due to the setup out front the hotel...my only criticism

The Bloomsbury Hotel was a delightful stay for us while visiting London. All the staff, from reception to housekeeping and Marcos for ding were friendly and welcoming. However one person shone above all the others for his helpfulness and friendly smile every time we walked through reception, Gilbert. Our room was very comfortable although the bathroom was a tight squeeze, something we are not use to coming from Australia, but that was the only thing we could fault. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

my comments as follows:- 1, Unsteady hot water supply in shower cubical. There was still in cold water after cleaning my hair, and hot water came out in the middle of my shower in Room 402. 2, the towels were too old and too rough.

Great location, noise levels high though due to main road. Top staff The complimentary wine was unusual in that it was delivered by a staff member pulled out of a plastic bag with a small bag of crisps. The issue was we were not asked what type of wine we like and the wine given from Chile was undrinkable as it was awful. It just seems a little basic for a 4 star hotel to deliver anything in this manner perhaps a basket so we can select? A small point but one thing that stayed with us.

I paid 299.00 for 1 night for single room. Very expensive and there was no tootpaste or brush and no moisturiser. Also asked person at desk forctrain tomes from euston and she couldn't tell me. Complete rip-off

Original room 515 - received unsolicited maintenance visit re no fixing bracket for two divans which was not resolved then went to use shower and water would not drain away. Moved to room 517 (claimed upgraded room) - again fixing bracket not connected to divans, I fixed myself, piece of hardboard visibly sticking out from under mattress. Shower drained away but poor layout meant water flooded onto floor as screen not wide enough. Appreciate sloping wall but when faced with this great care in setting the room, none apparent in this room. Finally, went to open window and found net curtains were badly torn and to be frank looked filthy. On a positive note, the hardboard meant we had a reasonable night's sleep and breakfast was fine.
