« Adequate for what I needed »

My only dissatisfaction with Mercure Nusa Dua was the lack of sound proofing between rooms and in the corridors (some guests had little consideration for the other guests with their early coming and goings slamming doors and yelling). Lastly, housekeeping was ad hoc. Toilet paper was not restocked most days (like many foreigners who visit Bali I became unwell so running out of toilet paper was not ideal) and one day my dirty towels were removed but no replacement were provided leaving me with just a bath mat. However, when I contacted the quality manager my requests were dealt with promptly.

We decided to stay here because it is one of accor brands. Previous night we stayed in novotel, but we couldn’t extend because it was fully booked. So moved to mercure, all our expectations were the service will approximately the same with novotel. But well, there is a price you pay. When we checked in, there are no bathrobe, the pilows were so smelly. I don’t think your housekeeping change or wash it, and the sink clogged so I should take off the pipe cover. But we had a great breakfast, the spaghetti was so delicious as well as the donuts. And our room has direct access to the pool. Kids love the pool. It was so safe and kids won’t go upper pool.

Check room conditions (mold) Give cocktail tranning to your staff because that were the worst fresh fruit juices in bali. 150 000 for a fresh coconut, seriouly? Dont put noisy people on 4th or do something about the chairs so they dont make noise when they move it. Dont let people pull the rabbits by the ears. Overall front desk staff are fast and professional. Breakfast was great and the pool too.

« Ok- was expecting more »

It was ok- expected the room to be maintained better. Airport transfers to be included and staff to be easier to communicate with. The building needs a lot of work as it is run down. Both our phone and fridge didn’t work in our room.

I stayed 2 nights in the hotel. The room was not well prepared as the procedure standarts. On the second day, my room was not completely cleaned up. It was tidyed but not completely cleaned.

« Busy season I guess »

It’s my second time staying here, because of my first experience staying here that is why I came back. I guess because it’s a busy season I found it that almost every day I had to remind the cleaning staff to clean my room as every time I went for the day and came back to the room it wasn’t cleaned. Secondly, I guess because of busy season or maybe because my room is next to the treatment room, I found it so noisy in the morning with people talking etc.. but other than this, overall the staff are always friendly and accommodating.
