« We found the Mercure a big disappointment, in comparison to Legian Mercure it is very tired, dirty & noisy . Paper thin walls with huge groups arriving at all hours of the night, running up hallways, smoking ( in supposed non smoking areas) . »

We booked our whole trip in Bali (15 nights) with booking for our 5 people family. Mercure was our first night in Bali, o we booked it for 5 persons : 2 adults + 3 childs (17, 15, 10 yrs). Our family. The hotel proposed us 2 rooms. It looked nice. When we arrived it was 1 double bed room + 2 single beds room. The hotel said : up to you to share the beds or to pay for an extra bed. It wasn't fair. On the reservation, we watched this proposition was in fact for 4 adults (children up to 11 are considareted as an adult) and a child of 1 yr max… We don't know who did the "mistake" : us, the Mercure or booking.com but we are not satisfied with this cause it's the first time it happened to us in many and any booking. As well, nor the Mercure or Booking find a good solution for us. So it's a 2/10 for the mercure and a 2/10 for Booking as well

« First day was awful but then we moved to a different room »

Staff are absolutely amazing , food is really nice. It's just the hotel itself that is out of date, and most importantly - the AC system isn't working. We first got put in a room on the second floor - and as we walked in, the room was moist. Then we noticed that everything was moulding - the bed head, the walls, painting above the bed, all around sink etc. After having a sleepless night due to the hot and moist conditions, we spoke to hotel manager the next day and they moved us to the first floor room. That was a different room where the AC was working properly for some reason. Ever since that our holiday experience was just beautiful! Staff are very polite and just really sweet, went out of their way for us. But the hotel definitely needs renovations.

« Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing »

From the time we stepped into the hotel the staff were very welcoming and did all they possibly could to make our stay a great experience! I couldn’t recommend the staff enough for what they did for us. The hotel is lovely and the children spent most of their time in the large pool! Food was beautiful and at a very decent price!

« A room smell of mold »

I booked a deluxe room, the moment I opened the room door, I could smell the mood as it was so overpowering... I checked the curtains, and it was black with mold. Didn't bother to ask to change room as we were so tired. The mirror was full of brown spots. The security man by the lobby was unfriendly. We loved how the pool is set. The staff were lovely.

« Below expectation »

I expected way more from a Mercure brand. I hope my feedback can encourage you to improve. Lobby looks like a cheap hotel. need more luxurious feeling. Room is way too small and a bit damped. Bed feels damped. Room wall is too thin. You can hear CLEARLY the noise from next room. This is terrible ! Balcony is really dirty. dusty and wall needs some maintenance. The staff & service were of a high standard. I was disappointed though in the general repair of the property. I also did not like that my top floor window was locked shut until I asked for it to be unlocked.

Room cleanliness was very good however the aircon in room 108 omitted a rotten smell there was water stains over the walls. The surrounding grounds and pool were lovely. Generally very noisy when in the room from people in the hallway yelling at all times day and night. Would be good to erect some signage asking people to be quiet in the hallways.

The place is quite far from the main street, but unfortunately the room is not sound proof so I can still voices from outside. Lock key sometime still have trouble getting in, while lightning is too dim for my taste.

« Good Place for retreat »

Good place for someone whose looks for quiet place, easy to reach, and had a huge area. Maybe just the variation of food for breakfast should be more innovative. The room was average but the bathroom doors and closet doors wasn't ergonomics. Maybe they should renovate that.

« Excellent Place with Good Staff »

I just stayed for one night from 9 pm till 1 pm in the next day. The air conditioner remote was hard to use. My room (123) was very cold. The security at the lobby lack of knowledge. I was asking for valet parking, but he didn't understand. It took me 10 minutes waiting at the car in the Lobby for the valet service. But the other things were good. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was excellent.
