Room is ok except for the toilet door which is too tight or too near the toilet bowl. Beverage not up to par. Dinner is lousy.

« A Good Stay as Always »

I'm a regular at Ibis Cheras, staying here at least 4 times a year whenever I'm in KL. Overall, this stay was good. I reported an air-conditioning problem in my room when I went out on my second day, but this was only taken care of by the night technical officer after I reported it again when I came back in the evening. Glad it was a simple problem, or else I would have had a second night with "warm" air-conditioning. Also, glad to see that Ibis has replaced its old set of towels. Ibis Cheras is my hotel of choice when I visit KL.

Quiet, close to shops & restaurants. Quite clean in bedroom, mattress soft & comfortable. Provided kettle, safe box, tv, hangers, sandals, toiletries. Toilet in room smelly, seems like the smell is from basin hole or drainage hole. Can see moulds in the shower room. Breakfast...not very great, nasi kerabu is too hard or maybe not cooked enough. However coffee is lovely. We booked two rooms, 1416 & 1414. Temperature in 1416 can't be adjusted, very cold. However, 1414 is humid, the extractor in shower room is broken as well. Hallway in 4th floor has no aircon. Parking in ground floor is okay, RM3 per entry. Overall is okay with RM148 per night. Okay for short stay.

I'm amazed that we're required to scan the card in order to use the lift & can only go to the floor of our room. This show that you guys really prioritize privacy of customer. However, you should've informed customer earlier (while check in) that you guys are using such tech since some of cust is IT illiterate & would stuck couple of hours to start the lift. In addition, i'm hoping that the main door of room could be completely soundproof so that i don't have to hear other people running or talking while passing through my room.

Location is good for guest because the many restauant and shop near by Hotel. However There are 2point of not satisfy matters. One is the laundry service, I requested extra service but not return same day and no apology from Hotel. The other one, I requested clean up room at front desk but not clean up.
