Overall was OK. Just that the shower was always changing temperature to very hot. Went in my room n the room card holder came off. Can't expect much so overall was OK.

Always a Good Stay but More Attention to Detail Needed

I am regular at Ibis Cheras, staying about 4 times a year and each time about 3-5 days. The location is convenient for me as I am here to see family. With a burgeoning of eateries a short walk away, meals or supper is close at hand. Notwithstanding the good points about Ibis, the nice room and good WiFi, a few things seem to have lapsed. It looks like they are using their old eroded towels again. Also, the grouting in the bathroom needs to be cleaned properly because mould have set in. The roller screen in the bathroom is stained. All these things detract from the positives of the room and stay. Breakfast also seems to have dropped in standards and the new meal room doesn’t look like a restaurant at all. It would be good if they can take a look at these things and resolve a few of them.

My booking was made throuhg booking.com through my friends staying in KL. One day before my arrival I called to your reception and check my booking status with my booking ID furnished to your reception, I was told no such booking? He wanted my booking name instead and then the second time I furnish them then only can trace it. However, upon my arrival, I gave them my booking name and ID I was told the same thing no booking was made. This gave me a lot of time spending at your reception when check in?

- I stayed on 31/5/19-1/6/19 and 2/6/19-3/6/19, there was no sambal for breakfast. I would say that the IBIS sambal is one of the best sambal for my stay in various hotels. So, quite disappointed. Hopefully, it is just a short term problem of not having it. - It is also found that there are no apples prepared for the breakfast (although there were watermelon and 1 type of another fruit). Also quite disappointed. Perhaps for cost saving programme at IBIS.

It was great to able to book a room for my stay at Ibis Styles Hotel Cheras, the room was quite decent & clean. I quite expected to have the same room width & decorations like Ibis Styles Fraser Business Park, but this one is much smaller than that. Some of the bad experience that I tend to have with the room are; the remote television is unresponsive (maybe due to battery), not enough channel selection, itchy bedding e.g. sheet. Otherwise, the stay was quite satisfactory and I would definitely come back given that I have business around the area. The staffs were friendly and really helpful.

Hotel convenient to move around to Golf courses

Hotel reception has been very efficient and courteous in our check in. The room is a bit small, expected for a Budget hotel. There is a lot of hawker food nearby, plentiful of coffee shops. There is a few bistros in this area and the happy hour beers are reasonable priced. Hotel check out is also efficient, thanks to the hotel reception staff.

Tired and in need of some renovation

I've stayed a few times before, standard rooms. This time paid the extra for the King Room, expecting it to be something better than just a larger version of the standard rooms. For the same nightly rate, we had stayed at Bintang in an apartment hotel with two swimming pools, one year old high level furnishings, fluffy towels and crispy bedsheets. You need to seriously consider re-investing very soon, the price exceeds to quality of delivery. Knowing that most of your guests are Chinese tour groups who won't return, it's unlikely you'll bother to spend the money. The bathroom curtain is seldom raised and mouldy; the bottom part of the shower curtain is mouldy. Why have a shower over a bath, these days? ... just make one decent clean shower. Update the grey towels. We stay there because in Belakong there isn't much choice. If there was, I'd stay elsewhere.

Hotel is situated near an busy area, where there is food shops around. There are many coffee shops nearby and one show visit them to see the types of food they offer. The hotel reception staff is very efficient inspite of only one staff attending to many guest.

We were not informed by receptionist as driver that parking lots outside hotel is actually payable to the Majlis. Who should bear the penalty cost? As a member, I did not receive welcome drinks until I enquire.
