The room was clean and tidy. The comment I would like to made is about the buffet breakfast. There was not enough cutlery and tea bags at the serving station. It should be placed at each dinning table instead with linen. The food was not replenish quick enough resulting in me forgoing some food. I know this is not a 5 star hotel but more variety of food should be prepare with halal and non-profit halal separated. I know there're a lot of Chinese tourists staying in your hotel so these non-profit halal food will be their liking. My first approach to the hotel was met with a courtesy, warm and friendly smile from the reception counter. This was my most memorable experience. Thank you.

The management and day staff continue to be first rate and courteous. It does appear though that hotel seems to be suffering financial decline as food service and bar have been closed. When I was there last, there were continuing problems with the elevators and access to the mall facility behind the hotel had been eliminated from the mezzanine level which required exit from the lobby on the opposite side of the court and walking up the stairs. I enjoy my stays but change must come.

On the surface, the hotel looks presentable and clean. The room was comfortable and clean, however, there were just small details like the bedsheets and towels looking a bit stained, so that was quite dubious. And then there was the breakfast which was quite a horrifying experience, it was so dirty and the whole food area was in a mess, food dropped all over the place, and no staff to clean it up (on the last morning we had no choice but to go for breakfast as we had an early flight, and we realised why it was like that, because of a large group of tourists from a certain country...but still, the place should have been cleaned up after they left). Once, we also decided to use the restrooms behind the bar on the UG level, and it was unbelievably dirty for a 'hotel' restroom. Overall, the staff are okay, some are friendly and helpful, but perhaps the hotel might be a little understaffed seeing as to how things are not cleaned up properly? This certainly made our stay a little less comfortable than it would otherwise have been. Not sure if we would stay again though.

Have a long 16 days stay at Ibis Cheras. Feel great as the house keeping clean up my room perfectly every single day. As an accor member, i feel very welcome as generous welcome amenities is given( i.e. fruit juices and nuts). There is tons of convenient shops, restaurants, bakery, wine bar around! super convenient. However, the bars around could be disturbing if you sleep early, try to get a room facing the road. And, sadly the restaurant Streat does not serve lunch and dinner any more. I will definitely stay here again, thanks.
