Very poor service experience, especially the breakfast dining. The female client waitress appears to be unprofessional with no service sense.

Good and convenient location. Hotel facilities were good. Room well fitted out and good natural light. Breakfast was good, even with hot oatmeal. Cleanliness can be improved. Dust ball found on carpet and hairs inside the toilet. Strong mouldy smell in the room floor corridor and room floor lift lobby.

I had stayed at Sofitel Haikou last year, and had a great experience. So I decided to stay the same Hotel this time but turned out I was quite disappointed with the service this time. Let’s just named a few… we waited almost 1 hr for our luggage to be sent to our room, and we have to call them couple of times to checked on our luggage…we have booked for a four nights stay, but the after the first day of stay, both keys were not functioning, couldn’t get the lift and open the door… we have to go back to the counter to reactivate the keys, not to mentioned how long we have to wait again like we have waited during the checked in…etc. for a five starts Hotel, we have high expectations but it was quite disappointed this time.

Nice room as you’d expect, but nothing to say about the service really. The staff were quite indifferent, didn’t demonstrate much hospitality.
