« Wonderful Property and staff »

Beautiful facility with absolutely wonderful staff. The staff are as high quality as the property is elaborate. The rooms are large, well appointed and EVERYTHING is thought out. What could be better than looking out at the beach every morning when you wake up! Absolutely impressed with all the staff and the breakfast was spectacular.

Lobby and room look great. Room: light switches are not very easy to find and distinguish what they are turning on; shower is beautiful, but the entire bathroom gets flooded, and is extremely slippery - one has to walk into flood area any time after that (no drainage or way to clear it off - not that I want to do so myself...); there are several lights from sensors that not only blink throughout the night, but also make clicking noises; phone in room was antiquated, had no instructions on how to use it, and the microphone did not work at all (had to use the bathroom phone every time...) Organization: another guest was given a key to my room and opened the door as we were in the bathroom (front door faces bathroom door...), Front Desk does not have control of which room was already occupied; missing instructions on how to dial internally and to outside, as well as information on fees for outgoing calls. Otherwise, staff was very friendly and lobby is very well kept. But that is not what makes a hotel shine

« The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very kind, but I experienced a few problems. »

I loved the hotel, but the room I was given was quite disappointing. It smelled horrible, the carpet was stained and damp-looking, light switches didn't work, the shower sprayed all over the floor, there was noise from the ventilation system, etc. I asked twice for a room change and even offered to pay for an upgrade, but was told it wasn't possible and there were absolutely no rooms available. (Though my colleague, who checked in just prior to me, had the same problems and was moved.) It wasn't until someone from the local company I was working with complained that I was given another room which was much, much better -- thank you!

We arrived at almost 3pm and our room was not ready. We also asked for no feathers in the room as my husband is very allergic and it took them 5 hours to take the pillows and duvet out. When we went back to the room at almost 11pm they had left the rollout bed with a triple feather bed and a feather duvet on it. A good hotel should be prepared for these situations and should have hipo-allergenic duvets and pillows.

« Beautiful building. Small, dark room with no shampoo »

I was disappointed. The building is amazing but the room I got was very small and very dark. Small rooms can be ok if yhey are decorated with light colors. This was dark brown furniture, dark walls, dark curtains. Additionally, I stayed from Monday to Friday and I had shampoo only up to Wednesday. They never replaced the shampoo. Finally, the outside area in front of the lobby, where you can smoke, has nowhere to sit.

It was fantastic. Your breakfast was fabulous. Rodrigo at the front desk was great-helped me plan a self -guided tour of the Graf Spee. Also while I was on my tour my wife was able to stay in the room past checkout (our flight had a later time due to a cancelation) This kind of “above and beyond” service was greatly appreciated! Kudos to your hotel and staff. This has been the “talk of the town” with our family here in the States.

« Nice hotel, but outdated in a few ponts and room service sometimes super late »

Nice hotel, but outdated in a few points like all the boose speakers which I cannot use and they don’t have adapters. Room service sometimes super late or different from what I ordered. The water when you shower often ends in the rest of the bathroom. The bicycle in the gym doesn’t work.

« Good level of service. Some issues with the lift and the cards. »

The service, quality of breakfast and meals. Wonderful We were in a business meeting so lunch could have been faster. It improves the second day after talking to Eloisa. The cards of the lifts didn't work well. I told the recepcionist that the card he gave me for the meeting room and my room different floors didn't work so he asked me to go with me to the lifts. Indeed it didn't work so he gave me one additional. The result is that I had to go first that it didn't work, then go back with the recepcionist again didn't work and with the two cards it was Ok. Service in the meeting room as food there was very good.
