When arriving at this hotel, the first thing that greets you is a shattered glass door at the front entrance. Seems there is no urgency to fix it as it was also broken the L. time I stayed here several months ago. Getting into the room was not better. The bathroom door was extremely difficult to close. The closet door would not close at all. Two light switches did not work. The most annoying experience was unstable water temperature of the shower. The water temperature would go back and forth between scalding hot to very cold to scalding hot again. The saving grace is the ample size of the shower where there is enough room to enable stepping in and out of the water stream with the temperature changes.

Service is excellent as is the food, the building itself is very nice. However, I have noticed in recent stays that the rooms are looking run down (chairs, windows, curtains) - more maintenance is needed in the rooms.

The hotel is really beautiful and is located in a very nice area. The view we had from the room was amazing but the room itself was just ok. The worst thing about it is the bathroom... no blindex to separate the shower and every time we took a shower everything got wet!!! really annoying.

Besides the overwhelming beauty if the hotel, the staff is what makes this place to special. I was there only three days, but ended up knowing so many of the people who work there by name. Martin and Rodrigo at the front desk. Guillermo, Michaela, and the best sommelier I have had the pleasure to meet, Federico, were a delight.

Oscillating temperature rendered every shower most uncomfortable. Pricing way above value.

It was impossible to have a shower with constant water temperature. Pathetic how your staff treated this as a surprising exception for every one of us - 12 people in the group! Very insincere. Room service was most patchy, had to beg for towels twice, which had been taken away, but not replaced. Dito for water, seems to be arbitrary if I get 2 500ml-bottles per day or not. Telephone from room to reception does not work, so I had to get down personally myself. Most annoying was that I had to pay a full extra night for a check-in at 10:30 i.o. 15:00, which was claimed had been ordered by local admin staff of my company. Plus the outrageous high 80 USD for airport transfer! Overall the only thing recommendable about your hotel is the stunning architecture.
