Book the hotel upon arrival, front desk is helpful and fast. However the room assigned was not on par with the service, cockroach was found on the writing desk.

I was very impressed with the service of the hotel. What i was impressed with the most is the fact that concierge was able to lend me a power point adapter for the length of my stay (this saved a lot of hours and stress), as i bought what appeared to be a faulty one from Singapore airport. When i wanted to see the city, but came downstairs too late (due to business commitments), the concierge arranged for a private driver to take me around (at a cost of course, but very convenient). Upon checkout, there were issues ordering taxy as it was very early in the although i was advised the night before that there should be no issues, but the staff members made the experience a lot smoother with the manager (or assistant manager) himself making himself available to assist. Very impressed overall.

Staffs were fantastic, especially Izwan from Reception. However, the staffs at the door were just chichating without helping me despite i pulled 4 luggages out from the car. It will be great if Housekeeping can keep the keycard for the electricity in the room.

We found the room nice however there is a real lack of warmth and friendliness from the staff overall starting with the check in experience through to check out. A very transactional experience and not one we’d want to do again.

Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast experience was challenging particularly on the first day. There was a tour group in who had decimated the available food - and I was down for breakfast just after 7am. While there was separate seating for non tour group guests, that group I found very rude and pushy. Realise you can't fully control this, but let my overall experience down.

It was just a 1 night stay for me and my family. The room was good and clean. Buffet for high tea was very good, but the breakfast was a bit of a let down if u were to compare with the high tea. But overall it was good.

I would think a 5-star hotel would not limit the temperature to 24.5 Celsius. Wonderful bedding, great shower, however, bathtub drain stopper did not work. I also expected a 5-star hotel to have all the wall outlet be universal and with usb ports.

Beside the facility of the surrounding is old, and show sign of stain, discolouration and algae in the toilet shower edges; the room is great. However, the TV program had nothing to entertain my Son. We didn’t go to pool because the pool was some what greenish, looks like algae is growing. The dining on our breakfast is basic, however can be improve with more protein in the menu.

The reception staff, Izwan was very welcoming and friendly during check-in. He even remember the last time I stayed at the hotel in April. Coincidently, he was also the one who checked-in me in last April. That is what I call great customer service. Rather than treating the customer as a normal process/routine during check-in, an extra warmth and thoughtfulness from the staff is really appreciated and welcoming. Room and facilities was relaxing and comfortable. Variety for sahur is also good. Pullman Bangsar is always my first choice to stay in KL. Keep up the good work and quality!

overpriced stay

it was late at night, (past 12am) when me and my friend decided to get a night stay instead of heading back home. i suggested pullman as i thought we would have better rate or discount to our stay, because of my accorplus membership. To our disappointment, we were charged the published rate i.e. I paid rm384.78 for one night stay at pullman bangsar. We were too tired to consider another hotel at that point of time so we accepted it. Then I asked if i could get any free upgrade for our room. To our disappointment again, we were told only the Platinum member could ask for this. We were quite frustrated and disappointed to be honest, because this rate is far worse than what we could get from places like agoda and booking.com. We think this is a rip-off and felt especially humiliated as a member of accorplus. One thing to note, we walked in past midnight, and did not even get to enjoy most of the facilities in the hotel, but purely for a night of rest, and we were charged the highest rate possible (published rate). We could have considered many other places such as the marriot chain hotels or the hiltons nearby if we knew were gonna get ripped off here.

nice rooms, good service, but group tourists get preference and not loyal Accor members

The Rooms are modern and clean, also quite large. The service is friendly. However what I do not understand is that most of the tables for Breakfast were reserved for Group tourists and myself as a Accor Gold member has to find a table far away from the buffet! Not happy about that!

Service experienced at the executive lounge was good. I spent most of the time in the hotel. Although the building itself was dated, it was well maintained.
