Location of the hotel is very convenient to explore the city and to travel to/from Luton Airport. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere of the hotel is very pleasant. It was my second visit to the hotel, this time I was traveling with my 10 year old daughter and we enjoyed our stay very much. The only issue I had was with the cleanliness in the bathroom - toilet seat was dirty and I cleaned it myself, shower head was covered with limescale.

Check in was easy and staff were very polite and friendly , location was great right on the jubilee underground line with Tesco express close by . Room was spacious and clean , bed was comfortable . Overall a great experience in a well located hotel at a good price.

« OK place with one big flaw- their bedding. »

Have stayed here twice.... It's in a good location, the staff are friendly and it's convenient for me. However the first time I stayed I was surprised by just how hot it was in the room when I slept which disturbed my night of sleep. The second time I stayed I had the same problem- waking up hot and clammy, before I realied the root of the problem- Ibis use polyester bedding rather than 100% cotton. Some people are OK sleeping in man made fibres- I tend to wake up drenched, uncomfortable and way too hot if I do as obviously your skin just can't breathe. Real dissapointment that a hotel that seems to have many other aspects covered would look to save money on something so essential- your bed. It's for this reason, with regret, I won't be able to stay there again

The staff was very helpful at all points, and the location of the hotel was good - but the room facilities themselves were surprisingly poor. The bed was woefully uncomfortable, and extremely difficult to sleep in. It was also not affixed in any way, so you could not sit up and lean against the headboard without it moving away from the wall. The pillows were also much too thick and hard, causing neck problems and prolonged discomfort. In terms of other areas to improve, a few more plug sockets would make the room better - there were only 3, one underneath the mirror and therefore inconveniently locates, and two near the window, also too far for charging a phone beside your bed or similar. Additionally in our room, one of the plugs was broken.

Pretty bad. We were placed in a room on the 9th floor, we quickly discovered that every time someone on our level flushed the toilet it made an unpleasant loud drill sound in the room. We advised reception staff who said they would get maintenance to take a look. If maintenance did look into this, they certainly did not fix it. We were awoken early to this every single monring and continued throughout the day and night. When we asked Antonios at reception whether there was a gym he replied ‘The hotel next door has one. But you can’t use it.’ Not very helpful. The lifts took a very long time. The 1 mark is for location. It was in a good location near the station.

« I was pleasantly surprised having never stayed in an Ibis styles before. »

I loved the casual ease of check in and check out. The food in the restaurant was very good and a great selection for all budgets. Breakfast was excellent, so many 4* hotels can't even get it right or as good as yours ! The bedroom was clean, decent size, bed was comfortable and over all quiet. Basic but had all I needed. I will be back !

Apart from a slight odour in our bedroom (hence score of 8/10) we checked in effortlessly, slept well and enjoyed breakfast. First time we elected to stay south of the river - we will return.
