We had three nights and two days at Blackfriars hotel, and very pleasant it was too. Saw some of the sights and had some very good meals there. The staff was warm and friendly as well as helpful and informative. Our room was clean well furnished perhaps a bit warm as we had the to have the window open at night, whic( was not a problem.

Well located hotel.. Could be a better hotel if there was a small fridge and a safe locker in the room. At the bathroom is missing a bidet shower and new towels.. the staff was Very helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel maybe 5 - 10 times the past few years. The reason I am coming back is that, on balance it is very good value for money. Very nice and service oriented staff, room is perfectly OK and the breakfast is very good (although this week when I stayed two nights it was not that "fresh" and looked after as it has always been before. The only thing that I think should be improved is the water pressure in the bath-room. Realize it is difficult to fix, but it can be very irritating at times.

As we support our Daughter and Grandchildren we needed this time out. Our stay was an excellent time out and a very pleasurable stay. We saw some of the sites and had very good food and service. A great place to chill out, nothing was too much trouble staff were friendly and helpful. Thankyou. Staff on call 24/7.

Everything was fine apart from some aspects of the breakfast experience. On two of the three days, we had to queue to get a table at breakfast, once for about ten minutes. In addition, the choice for vegetarians is slightly limited, e.g., why not have vegetarian sausages and proper muesli.

We understand that seating at breakfast can be challenging during peak times. That is why we try encouraging people to come a bit earlier or later if they have the chance, and that is why breakfast is available from 6.30am until 11am on weekdays and 12pm on weekends. We understand that there are times when due to prior engagements there is no flexibility in the time for breakfast but we are trying our best to accommodate all our Guests as fast as possible. Regarding the vegetarian options, I understand it might seem limited at first sight. We do have vegetarian sausages, but they are being prepared as per request as in comparison the demand is not as high for those as for the meat sausages. If you asked any of our Team Members they would have been more than happy to tell you about all our vegetarian options and offer you some more variety. I had a great time at your hotel! I was really impressed by the wonderful customer service provided by every single member of staff (reception, restaurant, cleaning staff). My check-in/check-out process were super quick, I was granted the quiet room I had asked for and everyone was really really lovely, which is a rare find in a London hotel. I also loved the location, and the beds were seriously super comfortable! I had a great stay in my room on the 11th floor, and everything went well! I am very satisfied and hope I can come back again. I wish I could remember the names of all the members of staff that were so lovely, but I really appreciated the service provided by the girl from Kosovo and the guy from Lithuania (both at the restaurant - I hope I remembered the countries correctly!), and the man who cleaned my room. Everyone was really attentive and also lovely to talk to. I also appreciated that, although it is normal ibis standards to have only frozen food in the restaurant, at this ibis there were a few salads in the menu. Breakfast was also good, although it does get very crowded in the weekends. I appreciated how hard everyone was working to keep everything going! If I had to make a few suggestions on things to improve in the future... I would suggest these very, very minor things: - There weren't many plugs in the room, and most of them were far from the bed. It wasn't a major issue, but maybe it would be good to have one near the bed, just to keep phone in charge while resting - I know it's an ibis policy not to have any actual shampoo bottles and soap, but I still find it would be a major improvement to have some. I ended up buying a shampoo, a shower gel and an actual soap and leaving them at the hotel, therefore wasting products... It would be nice to be provided better quality toiletries.

Good and efficient check in and check out. All good in our room. The only issue was that we had to wait to be served at breakfast on the sunday morning (maybe 15 minutes). Maybe you can put posters up around reception and lifts to say when breakfast space will be busy so that people choose to come at quieter times, and thus help address the issue. Also, can you add scrambled eggs to the itesm available? Thanks!

It's my third time at Ibis Blackfriars: If you look for clean rooms and don't care about being minimalist, if you look for a central position and for a staff willing to help, this is the right hotel for you. Fares are aceptable considering that we are in one of the best zones of London. Will certainly come back.

Location of the hotel is only a 3 minute walk from the Tube station, the building is modern and minimalist, but clean and the staff are helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent, great choices and staff ensured that items were restocked quickly.

Overall good experience & stay however it would be good that hotel can allow for guests to leave their luggage overnight at the luggage area if they are to come back again after going away for a few days. This was allowed in ibis shoreditch but not allow in ibis Blackfriars and reason being that it is the country policy that don’t allow for luggage to be kept overnight however this was not true as we have email to ibis shoreditch and they allow guests to place their luggage overnite . This has given us inconvenience as we need to bring all luggages to other cities . Do take note of this . Thanks

We came down for my birthday and we had an absolute brilliant time, had a view of the London eye. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. We eat in the restaurant both nights which the food was cooked beautifully. The tub is right next to the hotel which is an added bonus. Staff were very polite. I will defiantly be returning.

No hot water so had to have cold shower and shave in the morning. Also slipped and fell heavily and painfully due to the high step down from the bathroom to the shiny bedroom floor. At least the duty manager refunded 50% of my bill due to the lack of hot water.

Hi, I’m an Accor member and usually when I’m away will stay with Accor hotels. The first time I’ve stayed at Blackfriars IBIS - staff friendly, best breakfast I’ve had at an accors, room was good, however the trip was ruined by the no hot water. I had an important business meeting and not being able to shower in the morning has left a bad taste in an otherwise very satisfactory stay. First time I’ve fed back anything negative but wanted to state that I wasn’t happy as the minimum I expect is a good nights sleep and being able to wash in the mornings
