Standard quality of the IBIS brand, always clean, comfortable and functional. Breakfast varied and abundant, maybe a bit too busy in a narrow dinning room. Friendly customer service, led by young people with a modern management style. The location is perfect, in the center of the city, next to the Tate Modern, with a metro station besides the hotel, only at two stations to Westminster. The hotel is a bit expensive, but ¿what can I say? we are talking about the center of London. It is my usual lodging whenever I am visiting London

Positive experience, starting with staff support. Interesting new concept of reducing human interaction, despite I consider the human communication is the base of any like/dislike. The room was exactly what is expected in ibis hotels. Bathroom - functional, I just suggest the toilet brush should still exists

Ok i confess I am a convert of accor hotels from the Fairmont in Toronto to the more humble Ibis in the UK. Novotel is my go to choice but this week I was in the Ibis Blackfriars, ironically next door to an Ibis, and I have to say I was very impressed. From the immediate warm and attentive service the minute I walked through the door through to being allocated a rare sample room (trial option for future renovation throughout the hotel) this stay was faultless. Good food at both breakfast and dinner helped confirm my feeling about this place and I would not hesitate to return!

Myself and my wife really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and the location is well within walking distance of all the tourist attractions. If needed there is the jubilee subway line within a few minutes walk of the hotel. The reception staff were exceptional for looking after all their guests needs. The breakfast in the morning was excellent to start the day and the staff in this area too were excellent. The rooms were very comfortable with a good shower area (only little negative would be lack of extraction fan). Security in the building is good within the building with your room card allowing access to the lifts for all upper floors. If I return to London in the near future I will also try to book into the hotel again.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just around the corner from Southwark station and within a short walk from Waterloo station. Check-in was efficient, but the lobby seems dark and not terribly inviting. The lifts are hidden away towards the rear of the building. My room was relatively roomy, clean and in good repair. The bed was comfortable. But the bathroom was essentially a plastic pod, which didn't add to the perceived quality. Breakfast wasn't the best in terms of quality, but the breadth of selection was okay. Check-out was quick, but I didn't receive my invoice by email as promised. I had to follow up via email, but got a prompt response to resolve this issue.

The location was great, rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious. We had an event nearby that evening and returned to the hotel for drinks. There was a small group of us and we also ordered food. We were disappointed that the bar closed at 2am given a recent stay at another ibis where it was open later. Our group was chatting but not being noisy or causing any disruption to other guests in the bar or otherwise. One staff member rudely kept telling us to keep the noise down for other guests. We were paying customers, spent a lot at your hotel and felt we did not receive the best customer service on this occasion. I would understand if we were being rowdy but we honestly weren't. Slightly disappointing, but otherwise a good stay.

Paid for early book in but our room wasn't ready so had to sit in the foyer until 10.20 which was a wind up. We were not the only ones either. If we have paid extra, then the room should be ready! Apart from that, we found the staff, room, location and restaurant/bar to be brilluant

I loved the common areas and the service from the staff at check in and in the restaurant was outstanding! I'm wondering why there were no pictures at all in the room? I guess that showed that it was a low cost hotel? I'm not sure how much pictures cost. Everything else in the hotel from the comfortable beds and maid service was supberb. We especially enjoyed th elocation.

First visit to London to celebrate our anniversary. They gave us a surprise with decorations and greeting cards with blessings!!!!! Thanks Patryk. Location is very good as it is very close to underground. Room was very clean and spacious. Bar and restaurant are opened 24/7. The only thing was the air condition was on and off. Sometimes it had heat instead. Overall is very good . We will definitely come back again.

We got stolen inside the hotel

I have used the Accor network for many years for both my family and my company's employees and have never had such an unpleasant and serious inconvenience as the latter experience with you. My wife's purse was stolen from inside the Hotel the moment we were at the restaurant having breakfast. As soon as we identified the theft, we turned on the employees and the Hotel Assistant Manager who were able to confirm the theft on the cameras of the hotel's own surveillance system. While I was running the police to report the incident, the hotel's Assistant Manager walked a few streets around the Hotel to try to locate the thief or even the purse thrown somewhere. I called in the London police and reported in detail what had happened. At that moment a crime register was opened with the number 30…/19. It was stolen from us: • 1 Louis Vuitton Handbag • 2 Brazilian Passports • 1 iphone 8 Plus with 256 GB Memory • 1 Sunglasses (Gucci) • 1 Sunglasses (Polarized Ray-Ban) • 1 Power Bank (Charger) • 2 Makeup Kits • Creams • Women's Utensils After registering the incident with the police, we were asked to look for the Brazilian consulate in London to verify the procedures involved in making new passports. When we arrived at the Brazilian embassy we were advised to go to the Brazilian Consulate because they did not address these matters at the embassy. As we were going to the Brazilian Consulate we received the call from the Hotel that the Police had called at the Hotel saying they found our passports thrown in the street and that it was to return to the Hotel immediately. When we arrived at the Hotel the Assistant Manager warned the Police and they were handing us some belongings that they had found thrown in a street next to the Hotel, however, the following items were not found by the Police: • 1 Louis Vuitton Handbag • 1 iphone 8 Plus with 256 GB Memory • 1 Sunglasses (Gucci) • 1 Sunglasses (Polarized Ray-Ban) • 1 Makeup Kits • Creams • Some feminine utensils In the face of all this inconvenience, we ask for compensation for material losses above which total an estimated value of R $ 15,000.00 (US $ 3,906.00) Here are my contact details below: Fábio W.
