Well from the off we were treated very well. I thought the informal look of the reception was odd and untidy. Though after welcome from the wonderful staff those thoughts went away. We enjoyed every minute and would recommend to all.

The superior rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The rainwater shower and plumbing that works well is fabulous. The pool is great but full of children when we were there. Meals are good and staff friendly. The queen sized bed is comfy.

I think its my 4th time here and it was great as usual! Service is always on point. However fire alarm did go off and was a little bit chaotic. Receptionist on the phone told us to come down asap but halfway down the stairs we were told its fine.

We spent nice time in this hôtel. The employees have understood what we call Customer Satisfaction. Some other Accor hôtels should take example on it. The rooms are nice and the swimming pool as well. It is well located and easily accessible. We also enjoyed a complimentary upgrade as Accor Members.

Overall very good. Beds very comfortable, room a good size, good temperature, nice bathroom. Staff very friendly especially Alina at breakfast who was great with kids. Breakfast could be better - very bland bacon, very greasy eggs, no choice in yogurt and often had to wait for cooked items as serving dishes empty. This was my birthday weekend and last year at the Greenwich hotel they did a card and a little cake which was delightful so was a little disappointed this year that my birthday was not acknowledged. Pool was great and one reason for selecting hotel - although a little cold... Very family friendly hotel we felt very welcome especially with the kids gift boxes, games in lobby and cookies on the reception desk in the afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast offering. Alina was amazing and I was sad I didn’t get to say good bye as it was her day off. Family friendly hotel. The room even though small was comfortable. Sufficient cupboard and bag space. We didn’t feel like we were in each other’s space. Kids enjoyed their separate beds which was comfortable for them. The distance to the Southwark station was also a plus. I think a minutes walk.

Check-in - this process was a challenge as despite booking dinner and breakfast online, both elements were not highlighted on the reception computer. I also highlighted that I had used my Le Club points to cover the cost but the lady on reception appeared to have a limited knowledge of this process? A gentleman came out and rectified everything, although the dinner element could not be found; he advised we dine in the restaurant and just charge this to the room, as the points can be used for this at the end of the stay. We had booked the suite which wasn't available for an early check-in (which was okay). Our bags were stored and we agreed to check-in later in the day. We returned back to the hotel to check-in... I then encountered the same challenges in the morning, having to repeat the whole conversation due to a different team being on duty; this was extremely frustrating and timely. We have a 1 year old and 5 year old, it was extremely frustrating to spend 10 minutes plus having to go over everything again when we just wanted to get in our room and ready for dinner. We felt the Suite was great although the plug socket in the living room side of the suite near the window was cracked with metal exposed... not great with two young children. We just made sure the children could not access this as we couldn't face potentially having to vacate the room whilst this was fixed. I took a picture of this and shared with reception. Dinner on Saturday evening was very good, the restaurant team and service they provided was great. It did however take over 45 minutes for our food to arrive; again this is very challenging with young children, especially when the restaurant only had five other occupied tables. When it came to check-out the same lady that we met with on our arrival Saturday morning was on duty. We had the same challenge in trying to use our points. The same gentleman from Saturday morning came out and rectified everything again. I do however feel that had he not been on duty wer would have had a dispute on getting the bill settled by utilising our Le Club points. The staff throughout our stay were very attentive and a credit to the hotel. We were just frustrated with the process and delays. We felt our children were made to feel very welcome and the cuddly animals at check-in were a lovely touch. The children's activity area is very useful, I would however questions its location right next to the front door. We never leave our children unattended but it wouldn't take a young child long to go out of the front door. Over all I would say we were satisfied with everything in the end. If however I would have been asked to supply feedback after each touchpoint throughout our stay, I do think my scores would have been dis-satisfied!

Great receptionist checked us in early. It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a decorated bed, chocolates etc which really made our stay. Great breakfast. My daughter also loved the pool.

There was a nasty stain on the bed sheet that we didn't notice until we went to bed that was then too late to contact anyone-this wasn't nice. Also I just noticed that although I only spent £11, £70 has been deleted from my card today that I assume will eventually be reimbursed -considering I have my invoice and it is clear that is what I spent why has the whole £70 been deleted today (3 days after the event) when you could just take what I actually owe?

Regarding The pre-authorization that you have made online before your arrival, it was as a guaranteed for the incidentals you may have during your stay. We are not able to know in advance how much our guests will spend in the hotel this is why we are usually authorizing between 50 to 70 Pounds per night before the stay. The amount that you pre-authorize should have been noticed to you online before the transaction. Following your consummation at the hotel the remaining amount of the pre-authorization is released between 5 to 7 workings days after the departure. Had a lovely stay with excellent facilities. We all loved the pool. Bedrooms were clean, tidy and modern. Breakfast choice was very good. Only concern was the closeness of the tables and chairs to each other.
