« Good hotel, rooms, but cafe hit and miss »

Location of hotel good to visit central London, rooms good size and with good view and amenities. Initial booking in weird as no reception just floaty staff who did not seem to know much. Biggest issue was Cafe service where the 'manager' (spanish?) Seemed to intimidate and confuse other staff. Orderd 2 BLT ciabatta sandwichs along with black coffee and soya cappuccino. The waitress brought black coffee and milk latte and seemed confused about food, she retook order and went away with latte. When she came back with soya cappuccino, the manager turned up with food, which she had reordered! Later ordered 2 pots Earl Grey tea and they delivered 2 pots green tea. At breakfast people ordering omelettes through manager were all getting wrong ones or none at all, sraff looked confused. Manager jept going into kitchen with wrong omelettes and ordering more.

« Pleasant stay »

We really enjoyed our stay here, service was very friendly and attentive, hotel has good facilities and the location is great. Only minus would probably be little things in the condition of the room, there was some stains in the chair and little things on the carpet, that did not really bother much, but did make the room look bit old. Bed was really good and comfortable, very good on soundproofing side, we couldn't hear much. Breakfast was tasty and with good selection. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend this for little weekend breaks or holidays otherwise.

« Very clean, lovely hotel. »

It was my first hotel visit with my partner and we was very impressed. Spa was very relaxing and bedroom was so clean and spacious, nothing basic. Food also was lovely, just had some error in the evening with staff understanding English and having to wait a while to be seated & served. Overall impressed with our stay.

« Hotel and staff amazing, restaurant not so much »

The hotel was very clean and the staff on reception were very friendly always greeting when I arrived in from the day and when I left in the morning. The restaurant staff were not as helpful-there were some miss communication issues. The wait between ordering and receiving the food for mains and dessert was too long. I also noticed another customer question where his food was as he had been waiting a while too. The mains dishes were ok, I have had better. The desserts were much better than the mains. The selection of nut free desserts weren’t the greatest and the allergens weren’t marked up on the menu.
