« the hotel was lovely ,bright and airy clean and staff were great. »

The hotel was lovely .The staff at ‘reception ‘ area were friendly and helpful but over worked I thought .The cleaning staff were great .We had a balcony and that was wonderful . My only problem with the hotel is that it is overpriced...way to expensive for what’s offered and I thought charging for a bottle of water was petty . The awards system is way too complicated . The reception area feels like there is no reception at all , it was great to have A/C as London was hot .

This was a clean, convenient, well-served property. It is 1/2 block away from the underground (take the Southwark exit) which can easily take you anywhere around town. Easy trip from the airport. The staff was so friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, and the sofa made a big enough bed for our 6'7

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was a good size with good quality bedding and facilities. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. As there were a large number of people staying at the hotel it was quite crowded at breakfast and a small wait for items to be replenished. The hotel was in a good location for getting to the station.

« Convenient location with great rooms and buffet breakfast »

Loved the location to London and attractions and multiple underground and above ground trains. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of foods. The room was great but I feel maybe a bit more attention to some of the cleaning would help, for example, the paper mats the glasses were kept on were dirty and should be changed when the guests of the room are changed and I also noticed all surfaces weren't wiped down as there were 'ring' marks from cups/glasses on the desk and bedside table.

The room was otherwise alright but the brown colour around the entrance made it a little bit depressing. In the room, there were several spots were to charge devices, also beside the bed, and that is good and important. The check in stands can be modern but at the same time too visible - when I checked in there was another client turning around and could perfectly read what was written about me and my stay, so lack of privacy. I didn't see myself the screen, so I only suppose. The staff should be careful when the computers are in an open space. I must say that the next morning cheered me up. The breakfast staff was so friendly and lively, especially one Romanian young man. Also the concept that you could take coffee and bananas with you, is a very good business thing. It is positive, generous, although I didn't take coffee with me. I ate one evening there at the restaurant and on the contrary the service was not so friendly.

« Nice as always - only the bar needs some more attention »

I'm a regular guest in your hotel and really appreciate the atmosphere and the fact that you always feel welcome. I think recently the management/responsability of the bar must have changed. On the first day, I wanted to get some water for the welcome voucher and I was told that there were only small bottles, infstead of the large ones that you usually get. On the second day I wanted to get some beer and I was told that the dispensing equippment wasn't working. I know this can obviously happen but I felt that the bar needed some more attention. To say something positive about the bar - I think it is good to see some new dishes on the menu.

Although we checked in after 10pm everything went smoothly and we were in our room in minutes..everyone was helpful kind and respectful...especially in the breakfast room. Only disadvantage was the music at breakfast...totally unsuitable...should be light classical music !!!!!
