For location it's good, but the service is slow and the rooms very basic for what they cost. Can't fault the place exactly, just didn't put a smile on my face or I doubt in a few weeks if I'll even remember it. will try somewhere else next time to gauge if this is normal London standards or if I'm being too picky.

Not really up to typical Novotel/Accor standards. Housekeeping was pretty poor and failed to do basics such as refill toilet paper, replace glasses, etc. The shower head and screen door were broken - maintenance obviously not a priority. Breakfast buffet was more like one I would expect at an Ibis, we ate at the Jamboree restaurant and were not impressed by the food (the service was good though). Location was good with tube station just up the road.

OK, however peeping noise late at night and early morning from pipes! :-(

Average hotel, OK breakfast, Ok size room and reasonably clean. Disappointed With extremely annoying peeping noise from pipes, even With the bathroom doors shut we could still here it, couldnt sleep because of this annoying noise and was woken by it again early (6.30) in the morning!

Took over 20 mins to check in, where the staff were rushed and there was no bathrobes or slippers and loss of towels within the room.

Upon checking into the room, I had to queue for over 20 mins and was rushed when checking in. It was my anniversary on the 06/06/2019. I asked hotel staff when booking the room to see if they could please do something special, when arriving to the room which was a surprise for my wife. The staff had put 4 balloons on the bed where 2 balloons had no air. Then the room has only 2 towels, which I found shocking. I called reception, but never received any to the room. The room didn't have bathrobes, which I would have thought to be compulsory. I would like to speak to management, as this I believe to be unacceptable. Jay 07…

Perfect! We requested a room with a view and we got that. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room was spectacular. The staff were all friendly and helpful! The breakfast was amazing. Bar service very poor, lack of staff and duty supervisor did not help out, and when a manager arrive still did not help out. Wait time for a drink was 8.32 minutes. Food service - we were at the bar after the restaurant had finished, so we wanted to order room service but have it at the bar, I was told to go to my room to order it, and when the food is delivered to the room I will have to go and collect it and bring to to the bar to eat. The kitchen is next to the bar.........unbelievable

Quick check-in and out. Room spacious. clean and well maintained. Had booked a suite with 2 single beds for my two teenage sons. Only one bed made up on arrival. Spoke to reception late afternoon who said they would arrange housekeeping to make up second bed. Returned from evening meal and bed still not made up. After a further phone call this was done swiftly. Breakfast busy despite going early, had to wait for things to be replenished. Also welcome at breakfast could have been better. No-one explained where things were, we had to wander round to find thing. Other people seemed to have items (eg pancakes) which weren't on display, we were not sure how that worked. Swimming pool area very nice, loved the wall art. Spa pool was very cool though, and sauna was also not as warm as I would expect.

Spent 3 days at the Novotel London Blackfriars with my wife and 2 children. we very lucky to get rooms when arriving in the morning instead of the afternoon. very nice/quiet rooms at level 4. we liked the location (close to Southwark underground station, close to the Thames), the restaurant, the breakfast and the swimming pool. I recommand this hotel

Excellent location. Staff were very helpful. Nice, clean room. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. The only thing that I could say that was a little problem, was that our pillows were a bit hard but that is only a minor issue.
