« Good location, pool not so great »

Nice hotel, great location and only a two minute walk to the tube station! The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. However, the spa pool and the pool were both very cold but not as cold as the sauna which you needed a pair of gloves and hat to stay warm. There’s no mirrors in the rooms in a suitable location to get ready eg make up, the only one is above a luggage rack. The cleaners only made the beds but left all the empty bottles and glasses from room service.

Overall our stay was good .The staff were friendly and the hotel had everything we needed .Our only complaint was the poor breakfast we had paid for. We went for breakfast at 10.15 to find there wasn’t much left. The cereal pots were empty and there wasn’t any bacon or mushrooms left and the overdone fried eggs were swimming in grease. We asked why there wasn’t any bacon and apparently they hadn’t had any delivered . The one thing you do expect and look forward to with your full English breakfast is bacon!!.

As a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 10, we really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few niggles but I'm sure the hotel can sort them out. We were in room 105. The bed is quite soft and dips when you lie down (adult bed). I'm not extremely heavy and neither is my husband but there was a definite dip which was uncomfortable. We loved the little swimming pool. Breakfast was definitely the best bit. There was a lot of choice - full cooked breakfast as well as continental. Coffee was great too and the juices. Thank you for a great stay.

I had a room with the good view over the shard, still it was not exceptional: one window had a black pattern on the glass that distorded the view. Moreover neither the sofa nor the bed were placed in such a way so that I could see the view from them Breakfast choice was good for salted dish but limited for sweet one : few viennoiserie no pancake..., People at the desk were really welcoming polite and helpful
