Absolutely adorable hotel and staff. Loved the coffee / tea facilities in room. Overall comfort of the room and bed great. Pool area very relaxing. Breakfast varied and rich. Sardinia has some of the best beaches in the world. Will be back with my whole family.

Excellent hotel in Sardinia which is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Very rich breakfast. Upgraded room had Lavazza coffee / tea machine and it was great for refreshment. Room and bed very comfortable. Outdoor pool very relaxing. Great hotel throughout. Staff is highly competent.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found Olbia to be a great base for seeing North East Sardinia. Rooms are a good size with a fridge, safe and kettle. Great bed, very clean and fresh towels every day. We found all the staff excellent. Breakfast choice and quality good. Recommended.

Having just arrived early from my ferry trip I was greeted by two cheerful reception staff. They arranged an early checkin at a reasonable charge so I could rest before the town was ready for business. The hotel is beautiful I love the boat design and the mosaics both inside and outside the building. Breakfast is extensive with soo many healthy choices. Staff there were attentive too. The housekeeping staff were not so,attentive and I found my lady was mostly on,the phone while cleaning. She always missed something in my room like coffee or smaller towels and floor mats. Overall it was first class which I wrote on Facebook. I would certainly return perhaps next year with family.

We liked the hotel and the staff were lovely, we did love the breakfast but thought the bar area needed some improvement not very compatible with a drink and seats that surround a bar. It seemed austere , could be much improved with more seating and soft lighting. Felt outside the mercure needed much stronger lighting it was dark coming into hotel.

Extremely pleased to note this is a non smoking hotel (however I did see ash trays by the outside pool). The indoor pool and spa was wonderful and very reasonably priced for 2 hours use. Breakfast had a good selection of cakes, pastries and breads but eggs were a bit runny and there could have been more fruit. Unfortunately my room was a little noisy as was placed over the breakfast area but was perfectly clean and very spacious. Overall good value stay with the added benefit of the pool and spa (note the small charge for spa use)

I opted to stay here following a flight from the west coast of the US in order to recharge before starting a three week holiday. The reception staff were quite friendly as we're most of the dining staff. The room was comfortable and there were no surprises.

« Hotel is in a poor area of the city but the pool attracted us to it »

The room was clean and large, pool area was nice until the sun went off it later in the afternoon, however: 1. Breakfast was mediocre 2. We asked about a trip to the beach and were booked into a €45 p.p. boat trip for the day plus €25 p.p transfer fee (it was a lovely trip and we enjoyed it) however we weren’t told about the FREE shuttle bus service to a local beach 3. We’d enquired about whether the hotel had a shuttle bus as we were arriving at the port. We had to get a taxi at €20 as the hotel is on the other side of town nearer to the train station than the port . We also asked prior to checkout whether the shuttle could drop us st the train station. NO it is only for airport or beach transfers !! 4. Couldn’t get a drink at the bar inside the hotel until ? 8 pm so had to sit by the pool and drink from plastic glasses 5. The hotel appears to cater for large conferences or groups. Two consequetive nights there were large groups in for dinner and the sound echoed up and around the void to all the rooms 6. Reception staff were friendly and helpful (apart from the strict rules surrounding the shuttle service) 7. There seemed to be NO Advantage in being an Advantage Plus silver member apart from one drink voucher on arrival - no discount on meals - no shuttle - no advantage. 8. The hotel is in the grubby area of the city. It is a 15 minute walk along poor quality footpaths to town. The best area of the city is down by the port at the other end. 9. The bed was a super king size and the pillows were very comfortable. 10. Due to the very average breakfast we didn’t have dinner at the hotel as the dining area lacked atmosphere and it didn’t appear to cater for anything other than large groups st a buffet.

Our stay at the Olbia Mercure exceedede our expectations. As a gold member of AccordsHotel we got an upgraded room which was great. Breakfast was amazing, lots of variarety. Very convenient located walking distance from downtown Olbia where all the restaurants are. We found very useful the private garage for our rental car. We didnt use the gym but it looked very good. Great value for your money!

A dissapointment. I upgraded our stay to a suite as it was a birthday for my wife, room was damaged and walls messy. My wife had a poor experience of the spa, which she was really looking forward to and I found I had to ask room service numerous times for simple drink requests. We travel a lot and stay in lovely hotels and have have to say we wont recommend this hotel chain again until we have a better experience.

Our experience at your hotel was wonderful the location was perfect the staff was very helpful and cater to all our needs, breakfast was amazing especially on Italian standards the pool was great also the transfer to the beach was convenient. The only thing I was disappointed about you had on your van that you do airport transfers which you don’t so you need to rectify this.

we stayed at this hotel for one night only at the end of our holidays in Sardinia and before taking the ferry the next day. the hotel is confortable, the room very nice and with an interesting internal design. we enjoyed very much our stay here. there is a spa but it is not free of charge for hotel guests. there is a useful car park underneath the hotel connected with a lift to the hotel. the hotel room is slightly overpriced.

Nice modern hotel but pool area shut too early, no balconies and no English tv channels. The breakfast is good however the egg is too raw. The staff are lovely and helpful. The location is very run down.
