Although front desk staff made an effort, they were friendly and trying to help, but I found a lack of initiative & overall very slow, no follow-up. In contrast, I found the door staff having more initiative. This is so different from the experience I had at Ibis Cikarang which I stayed earlier this year. Check-in : Priority welcome desk was empty, even when I sat there, no one came to acknowledge. Issue with my door lock : First report (I went up/down 3 times before an Engineer was sent), when the Engineer came, he realised that the 'equipment' he needed to reset my lock was not charged (& there was only one). He asked me to wait for 15 mins, so I waited on my floor (804). After 30 mins, there was no feedback, I went down again to the reception and discovered that the front desk was not aware and he then tried to call the Maintenance team, who was just seated in the room behind him! At that point, the equipment was still not charged sufficiently to use. I was locked out from my room for 45 mins. And the same happened again the next day. (I changed my room after) Room cleanliness : The second room I stayed had ants at the sink area & the pantry area despite that i cleaned up myself, there was still ants walking up every now & then. Service : I asked for an ironing board after I checked in. I had to ask for a 2nd time. There could be some small initiative that could make the event better e.g. a glass of drink while I wait or something.

All is ok but need some fixing like shower room better have door so water not going all over other part of the bathroom. Also need shampoo not just soap. Better if access to swimming pool can be directly from lift not going through restaurant/lobby. Last thing about city view vs street view also unclear, i order city view room (view to jalan gajahmada/hayamwuruk) and got street view (jalan ketapang)? I do not quite understand this.
