« Cosy, but too many families »

I quite like it, studio apartment is very functional, style is modern and cosy. Location is very central. I very much like the gym and pool area (at Novotel). Though pool is like a war zone most of the time. Sometimes I feel like entire school classes or football teams are hanging out there. Parents usually don’t care or control their kids. Trash bin is always full of diapers, nice.

I found the housekeeping was not there often enough, and even with a do not disturb sign they would call the room. Both of those things were frustrating. I also had to call 4 times to get my dryer replaced so I could have dry laundry. Unacceptable. The room and rest of service was good though.

I stayed for a few weeks at the Adagio. From the moment I checked in, the reception staff were super friendly and helpful especially Sultan who walked me around the facility and helped me to get set up in my room and even transporting my plants into the room, he was a real example of hospitality. Wi-Fi worked great, the gym and pool very good and clean. The restaurant's menu looked very tempting but I had not the time to try it, definitely during my next visit. The room was very good, comfortable and clean. Easy parking on P3. As I am also work in the same industry, I would like to extend a great job to the entire team especially to all staff at Adagio front desk as well as Imane from the Sales team, Ahamed Abbas Front Desk Manager who handle an accident with the pool door very professionally and to Mohammad Gamal Night Manager who organized my checked out very efficient, friendly and supportive. Hats off the Adagio/Novotel team. We need more hospitality team like you. No hesitation in recommending this aparthotel for overnight or longer stays. Our stay for one night is relaxing, everything we need are all there.,all the staff are very accommodating and nice. With the complimentary fruits and late check out. However we encounter some problem inside the toilet and kitchen like clog and damage shower head.

We stayed during a temporary shift from our home while our items were placed in storage. Sales: Zero follow-up from the sales lady after booking us - at par with UAE after sales service, disappointing. Room type: 1 bedroom unit, No windows that opened and substantial rate increase to reserve a unit that had opening windows/balcony. Lighting: Poor and abrasive lighting, cold feeling, dark, not much natural light. Personnel: Reception and bus boys were accommodating and bus boys very helpful with shifting items from vehicle to room. HOusekeeping: Cleaning staff, inconsistent - touch personal belongings too much, tub under edge is full of mould, need a better vacuum with a HEPA filter as the current smells like burnt parts, sloppy mopping pushing dust and hair around versus actually cleaning. Synthetic bed cover doesn't breath, a reason why many guests complain about sweating even with the air conditioner on. Bed was comfy enough. Some staff not very trained in how to make a bed or what size sheets to use. kitchen appliances good and well stocked with accessories. Kitchen hot water was hardly hot enough to wash dishes, Luke warm at best. Showers should have a trench drain (long type) inside the shower in front of the door to prevent water from creeping out the door into the rest of the bathroom. Some mould buildup in shower edges and under trim. Closets: Sufficient, nice design with lighting. Staff overall including hotel staff: we stayed three months and never once did anyone advise us of any events on the property including gemayze. Would have liked to enjoy a show but didn't know about it until it was too late. All staff should be better informed and share information with guests = more income for the property. Noise: neighbors above often quite loud with music and what sounded like a lot of jumping around, foot traffic. Restaurants: somewhat limited in food types, outlet options and hours. Not much around the hotel so more options or a Baqala type store would be great. Unless there was and no one said anything. Possible. Spa: hit or miss. Still fashioning a bruise on my arm from irregular pressure in the wrong spots. (Tasha?) Staff at waves quite friendly, should encourage them to remember guest names for repeat visitors. Too smoky most days. Same DJ all the time was uneventful. Too much deep fried food on the menu. More healthy options including for bar bites would be good. Often food was overlooked. Staff were accommodating to fix. Salon: didn't try but if they offered nail services and hand treatments that would be great, most people aren't going to get their hair done as they probably have a selected stylist already. Gym: good facility, lots of natural light. Parkade: it appears people are living in the parkade between the levels?? Air conditioners and wood paneling. Saw workers/labourers sleeping in their trucks in the parkade next to this area on multiple occasions. Creepy cleaners in the parkade scouring the ground around the cars for dropped items. Not all lights always working.

The room itself was lovely but very dark, fine if you are at work all day but if like me at home then it's a very depressing room. Towels all need replacing, virtually grey and threadbare. The cleaning staff are not cleaning staff, they think it's ok to run round the flat like a tornado with a cloth. No good morning, goodbye or any acknowledgement that the guest exists. We have stayed in many serviced apartments and hotels, the staff here where without doubt the most miserable we have ever come across. There was only one lady receptionist that was polite, it was like everyone else just didn't want to be there. I asked for information on the Novotel next door, my husband was looking for a mans salon for a hair cut, I was told that yes this was available next door. My husband came home from work and went next door for a haircut, there is no mens salon in the Novotel Hotel, surely the reception staff should be giving out correct information. All in all a very disappointing stay, we where intending to stay for 6 months but only stayed for 3 weeks.

We had a 3 bedroom appartment. We first booked a 2 bedroom appartment but there were just two queensize beds. With a son and daughter of 17 and 15 this was noot enough, so we made an upgrade. The 3 bedroom appartment was huge with 3 bathrooms. Full kitchen with dishwasher. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The sun shines one a clock in the swimmingpool area. We prefer to have the sun on the terrace in the evening. But you can't have everything. We had a very lovely stay.
