I would like to start by thanking the hotel staff who were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is located near the heart of the city which is very easy to move around. The common areas in the hotel are clean and spacious. Rooms are as to be expected of Ibis, which mostly have similar layout. They are cleaned and the beds were also very comfortable and clean. However, the bath towels needed to be change entirely. They were blackened and some with stains on it. We do not know what was the stain from, some were black stains and other were brownish. We tried to change to others by requesting another set from the housekeeping however after 5 - 6 times changing, all were in the same conditions. All in all, the hotel service was excellent, staffs were very friendly and helpful, just the towels that were in need of change.

First, it starts very badly. I ordered the Airport Pick-up. On my arrival, I waited 30 minutes just at the exit of the customs, where all other drivers are waiting with their signs. There was nobody with an Ibis sign or with my name. After 30 minutes, I decided to call at the hotel. I retrieve the email from Yorisha Yosefine, who initially organized my transport, to get the phone number from the hotel. On the email signature from Yorisha, there was the following number: +6… 5 So I called: Not a valid number. I re-called: Not a valid number... I tried all the combinations. I even asked people arond me to help me to try the number... I finally realized that +61 IS AUSTRALIA !!! The country code from Indonesia is +62 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally talked to someone to finally be called back 15 minutes later to be informed that the driver was waiting OUTSIDE ! I lost almost 1 hour at the airport! Can you be more clear in your communications??? Now the room: The bathroom is dirty and the soap distributor was empty. Impossible to wash my hairs. The day after, after I complaint that the soap was empty, I realized that the soap distributor was broken and not working. Regarding your staff, they are very please and welcoming. At least. In conclusion, I was really disappointed about your hotel and I will rethink about the next time I have to go to an Ibis.

I stayed at Ibis Surabaya City Center only 1 night but i was quite satisfied. Affordable rate, friendly staff.. But for breakfast, it tastes plain. Moreover for "jamu", it was horrible. Pastry section.. also not satisfying. But overall, i was happy to stay there.. thank you

We have stayed in this Ibis hotel probably 20 times now. Always we feel the friendliness of the staff. Recently the hotel has become more popular, which is good business, but not necessarily for the guest. We are members of Accor, and regular guests of the hotel, and as such expect some preferential pluses during our stays. The rooms are now needing some renovation, as they are becoming more dated. Breakfast, even though we have tried different times has become crowded, and service cannot always keep up with the demand for food. Car parking is also an issue, and one of the benefits members could receive is preferential parking space.
