Great location. Initially the air conditioning was turned off at night, but corrected when I insisted. It was represented as "economy and sustainable". Since I was not there at all during the day, that made no sense.

« No sense for service »

I’m an ussually user of ibis; mainly in manquehue; in this opportunity had to make my reservation in providencia because there is not availability in manquehue; just need the room to spend some hours before take my flight to hong kong; and my mainly need was to can use the parking; the difference between manquehue and providencia is that in manquehue we dont have to wait for in intonthe parking; in providencia you should do; i arrive to the hotel at 2:00 am; and nobody open the parking; that zone is not secure and i think is the reason because you have a gate; unfortunately the person who attend me in this moment could not open me the gate; and i just prefer make the fast check out and wait for my flight in the airport..... in fact i could not use the room.

« Good location, good staff, not-so-good breakfast »

A typical Ibis hotel: the room is practically identical to the one I stayed in Valparaiso a couple of days before. The location is very good, with quick access to practically all important attractions and restaurants, and also the airport. The neighborhood sounds quite safe. The staff is well prepared for receiving foreigners. I just didn't like the breakfast, quite below the quality of the breakfast I had in Valparaiso. No typical chilean breads offered, no season fruits.

Room was great. Bed comfortable. I like that there is a bar and a restaurant in the hotel. The staff was friendly. Only thing we didn’t like is that there were no wash cloths or hand towels. Only one bath towel for each guest.

First at all, I´d like praise Paulo from front desk. He was very kind and professional. He is someone I´d like to find at every Accor Hotel.The room needs a renovation, specificly the toilet. My room had a broken lamp but at overall, the room was ever clean. My only complaint is an absence of refrigerator in room.

« Comfortable but language challenge »

Everything that I would expect from an Ibis Hotel was provided. It was clean, simple and efficient. I was surprised that nobody in the hotel spoke English - I appreciate I was in a foreign country and I can speak a little Spanish but I was challenged to get information about some of the more complicated matters. Overall, I was comfortable but was not able to get many details because of the language challenge.

I had few problems during my stay, which never happened with my stays in Ibis before. 1. Shower variating from too hot to too cold. When I call the reception to ask for help, the guy simply says it is normal. 2. When me and my wife arrived at the hotel at 4:30PM, the room was cleaned. We had to ask for room cleaning and we still waited 1 more hour. 3. Never got the receipt. I asked more than once and they said it was going to my e-mail, but I have never received.

We hired a taxi service to the airport directly at the hotel reception (expensive by the way) because our flight was too early. The taxi did not show up at the scheduled time, and the two officials at the front desk at that time did nothing to help us and were totally unconcerned about the fact that we had that problem. Total lack of respect.
