« Rooms need renovation, great staff »

First at all, I´d like praise Paulo from front desk. He was very kind and professional. He is someone I´d like to find at every Accor Hotel.The room needs a renovation, specificly the toilet. My room had a broken lamp but at overall, the room was ever clean. My only complaint is an absence of refrigerator in room.

« Comfortable but language challenge »

Everything that I would expect from an Ibis Hotel was provided. It was clean, simple and efficient. I was surprised that nobody in the hotel spoke English - I appreciate I was in a foreign country and I can speak a little Spanish but I was challenged to get information about some of the more complicated matters. Overall, I was comfortable but was not able to get many details because of the language challenge.

I had few problems during my stay, which never happened with my stays in Ibis before. 1. Shower variating from too hot to too cold. When I call the reception to ask for help, the guy simply says it is normal. 2. When me and my wife arrived at the hotel at 4:30PM, the room was cleaned. We had to ask for room cleaning and we still waited 1 more hour. 3. Never got the receipt. I asked more than once and they said it was going to my e-mail, but I have never received.

We hired a taxi service to the airport directly at the hotel reception (expensive by the way) because our flight was too early. The taxi did not show up at the scheduled time, and the two officials at the front desk at that time did nothing to help us and were totally unconcerned about the fact that we had that problem. Total lack of respect.

Just like any other Ibis’ hotel. Room’s air conditioning wasn’t working. Expensive breakfast for what it offers. Dinner soups were awful.

« Clean and general status of hotel »

Hotel is in a very good place, near to subway station. I stayed in this hotel a lot of time in the last 6 year but the quality of it degenerate a lot in the last year. The room and in general the hotel is dirty. I was with other 2 people and for all this time is last. Also the breakfast is very poor and you have a clear perception of dirty place

The customer service was terrible. Went to Santiago for a week on business. Had to hang my clothes on a chair because they did not have any hangers. Went to the restaurant at 11:02pm to get a dessert, they did not give me service, even though i told them it was carry out. Every time i walked into the hotel i had a security guard behind me like if i was going to rob the hotel. The cleaning was ok.

« Hotel is a bit depressing »

Bathroom door full of fingerprint smudges, the neon lights and white color theme together make for q very cold, not cozy, almost clinical feel. The phone did not work. Worst of all, in Santiago you can pay 10-20 dollars more for a highly rated hotel. I moved out.

Personnel was polite, room nice and breakfast great. Internet was awful, I needed to use my own internet. Also, I wanted to visit a landmark , the person at the desk told me I will cost me 4000 pesos I paid and while I was waiting, another guest wanted to go to the same pace and was charged the same amount. When I returned, I was charge 2200 pesos, so not only the price was twice as much with your driver but two guests were charged that amount... That is just bad. « Not located where I expected. Cold. Poor breakfast. »

The room was decent enough. However, it was too cold and the AC unit did not do the job. I requested an extra blanket because there was none in the room. It took the staff 30 minutes to bring me one to my room. It was hard for me to fall asleep because of how cold I felt. The breakfast was OK but there could be more variety of food. I had read the hotel was very close to Costanera Mall, but this was not so. It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
