Personnel was polite, room nice and breakfast great. Internet was awful, I needed to use my own internet. Also, I wanted to visit a landmark , the person at the desk told me I will cost me 4000 pesos I paid and while I was waiting, another guest wanted to go to the same pace and was charged the same amount. When I returned, I was charge 2200 pesos, so not only the price was twice as much with your driver but two guests were charged that amount... That is just bad. Also, I would like to get points for my stay: Confirmation Number: 15… PIN code: 5172

« Not located where I expected. Cold. Poor breakfast. »

The room was decent enough. However, it was too cold and the AC unit did not do the job. I requested an extra blanket because there was none in the room. It took the staff 30 minutes to bring me one to my room. It was hard for me to fall asleep because of how cold I felt. The breakfast was OK but there could be more variety of food. I had read the hotel was very close to Costanera Mall, but this was not so. It was a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

« Terrible experience/ mediocre service »

Because of a big error from your Hotel (PROVIDENCIA) I lost my flight to Concepcion. Please ask your cuasi/manager there and many employees and a taxi driver about my real bad experience there last Sunday. Your manager in that hotel responded me with a real mediocre message. No class, no understanding of how to deal with classy clients that can bring local and worldly people to your hotels. The client usually ( in my case 100% correct) RIGHT. So many employees are witnesses of the error that was caused and why I lost my flight and screwed up all my working day in Concepcion . Minimum a free night stay in your hotel, MINIMUM!!!!. I am on Chile for two months traveling from Concepcion-Santiago - other cities. If I can give your hotels 1/4 star I would. Really the worst experience in the whole world . I travel a lot! I am an artist, with education and diplomatic goals. Many writers of the Santiago newspapers are acquaintances of mine and my colleagues in CHILE. Bad experience.

Good bedroom, service, breakfast and attendance. They were very nice to me and my girlfriend and the overall experience was very good. Negative point was a additional fee charged over a breakfast that was already paid in cash, and no devolution so far.

« Problems to check in »

We have experienced problems to check in at hotel. After a long trip, due to many delays and cancellation, we arrived at hotel at 2am, when we were informed that due to a flood issues, we should move to another hotel. Arriving at this new hotel, we were informed that no room was booked in our name and we needed came back to Ibis, where after more than 20 min waiting in the lobby, we could get our room. All this issues happened during the night, have generated a really bad stress for us.

The ibis Providencia, Santiago is located close to the Parque Metropolitano - San Cristobal and has excellent services. The staff is attentive and provides good service. One tip: the trip to Valle Nevado with Turistik is over rated and does not provide enough time to enjoy the moment.

I have chosen the hotel for the location, but that was it. The front personal was really unfriedly and the bed was not prepared to offer comfort in this season (winter). The duvet was extremely thin (was more a thick sheet than a duvet). The breakfast experience was also not satisfying. The toaster was not working properly and due to the complaint of another guest, on fixing that tiny problem, they blocked the use of the automatic pancake making machine, one of the BFast highlights.

I did not enjoy staying at the Ibis. Mattress had weight deformities and pillow was uneven. I had terrible headaches and neck tension and called reception at 3AM to request another pillow. I was informed there was nothing they could do. I requested pain killers and again, was informed they couldn't help me in any way. The attendant didn't show any empathy and I was left with no support. When I asked the security which way I had to walk to reach the costanera center, he asked me if I was armed, as I should not be walking alone at night. I did go by foot and saw many children, women and people on the streets, and not a single sign of danger.

« Great 3-Star accommodation just 3 metro stations from central CBD »

I was welcomed at the entrance by a fine gentleman who escorted me to the front desk.I had a great check-in experience with a lovely lady even though we we both spoke completely different languages, we managed fine. The room was adequate in size and clean. More importantly the bed was comfortable. Internet connection was easy and satisfactory speed. For this level of accomodation you really cannot fault Ibis Providencia. Budget accomodation with great customer service. Can't ask for much ore than that!
