Everything correct, but some details missing. Showerhead full of sediment, not even a plastic cup in the bathroom, elevators that don't recognize te room card, etc. Staff is correct, but not particularly friendly.

« Okay facilities for the price but not too friendly staff »

Overall it was an okay experience, especially considering that is a very affordable and well located hotel. My main problem was with the staff because not all of them but many of them seemed inexperienced at best or at least with little or no interest at all in customer satisfaction. Considering that breakfast time represents the most significant time spent at the hotel, the experience at this time of day was usually not very pleasant. The food was not bad but many times they run out of coffee, eggs, clean dishware, and staff members were not diligent in helping solve this issue.

« PRACTICAL HOTEL WITH POOR SERVICE »

PROS: Practical, functional hotel with small, clean rooms, and a good bed. CONS: Old linens, old towels. Poor minimal breakfast. Slow check ins, slow check outs, slow everything due to shortness of personnel. Noisy rooms because of city traffic at night and loud room maids in the mornings.

There was a noisy fan or something like that just by our room 403. Constantly running. We complained and nothing was done, neither a call to even tell us that the noise was there and something would be done (or not). No communication. After waiting for a reply or proposal, which did not come (according to the 15 minutes policy) I decided to go to the counter to know what had happened. After asking for a solution, we were offered to stay in the 415 and 515, but those two rooms smelled like a space poorly ventilated, with a rather umcomfortable environment. We decided to stay at room 403. We could sleep just because we were too tired.

Nice modern hotel, stayed on floor 12 and had a great view over the city and the mountains. Quiet, clean and a good option for a visit to Santiago. Walkable distance to the metro and plenty of shops cafes and bars around. Nice area and friendly staff

« Inexpensive alternative but questionable quality. »

Quality was questionable. From service at the front desk for check-in and check-out, cleanliness of the room, maintenance of the room (floor, wall paint, shower door didn't close well and water dripped out on the bathroom floor), pillows are of very cheap quality, tall and hard, internet speed was extremely slow to work at times, and at times it was just acceptable. Breakfast was really good.

« Great view and a great value if money »

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk, spoke English very well to assist with my questions. Larger room than most ibis hotels of past stays with good wifi, TV service and great views of the city. Location of hotel was excellent as it was walking distance to a great many shops, dining and the metro in a safe neighbourhood. Everything needed for my short visit to Santiago. Look forward to staying again on my next visit.

We stayed at Ibis Santiago Providencia (Chile) for 3 nights. My friend Amalia Sobol grabbed the wrong luggage at the airport. She asked for help at the hotel front desk. They called to the airline but, as it was 9 pm, the office was closed. Luciano (I don't remember the last name, I think he was the manager) and Rodolfo Sanchez arranged everything for her. The next day, early in the morning, they took her to the airport (I think Luciano went with her), went together to the airline's office and got the right luggage and returned to the hotel. Everything at no charge. She wrote a grateful message in the hotel book. We'll recommend the hotel and return again. In addition, I was able to stay with my cat and everything went well. This was my second stay at the hotel. The same for Amalia.

The hotel was clean and staff was polite. But the acommodation was too small, it was the smallest Ibis I have ever been. And the launge area could be bigger too.
