« The renovated rooms on the 2F are really nice. »

I like this Hotel. It was the first time that I stayed in a new renovated room. I think the reason why I have not received the welcome drink is, that I am waiting now since several month to get the silver card. So the receptionist couldn't identify me as silver card holder. Also, I slept very bad in the second night, because the waste collection came at 3pm and was very noisy.

« Basic stay with almost all you need for a business trip. »

I stayed in Ibis for 3 nights. Having the same breakfast each morning was not satisfactory and neither was not having sockets by the bed. TV didn't work. However, the bathroom was fine and the bed was comfy.

« A "Renovation in progress" notice would be nice »

Overall, i was happy with my experience at the hotel. Service, cleaning, the breakfast buffet could have had more food options. However, towards the end of my stay, I was highly disappointed at the construction going on 8am in the morning. I was awakened out out my sleep due to continued drilling sound. Courtesy would have been to inform customers of nearby construction. I paid for a place to sleep and was unable to do so.

« Dissatified from the point i spoke to the receptionist »

From the point when entering the hotel and speaking to the receptionist i realized that this is not a good start. Asked where i could park a van and was told there was no where on the premises, this was different to what i was told the day before when my colleague phoned to ask this question about parking for the van. Had to park the van outside on the road in a parking space. I had booked a twin room due to there was two of us, found one we entered the room that there was a double bed not two singles. Went back to reception to explain this and was told that they were busy, that was not my problem as i booked a twin room which they did sort out in the end. When got to the room found it had no towels so had to go back to reception again. We asked for direction for where we would be working the following day by showing the address that had been typed out earlier and was told it was 30 minutes away, on checking google maps for the same address found it was only a 9 minute walk away. During the course of the night it got very hot in the room, found out that the air conditioning was not working so the second night we had the window open which was better. The state of the room wasn't to brilliant, the floor outside the bathroom was all cracked, the lower toilet roll holder fell off the wall and around the bottom of the shower scene was dirty. Both nights the bar staff were very helpful and what food we had was good.

« Comfortable, convenient and enjoyable »

The hotel is located in a quiet street of mixed residential and office buildings, close to Les Moulineaux tram station, Issy RER, various bus routes, Auchan supermarket and the park at Ile St Germain. The neighbourhood is clean and feels safe even late at night. It makes a great base for visiting events at Porte de Versailles, the impressive new Seine Musicale concert venue, the Sevres Porcelain Museum (unfortunately closed when we tried to visit on Tuesday), the huge Parc de Saint-Cloud (fantastic views over the Seine to the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre) and beyond to places like Versailles and Chartres. There are also plenty of small museums, markets, parks and activity centres within walking distance or just a few bus or tram stops away, and although the area is developing fast you can still find little 'villagey' byways with pretty little houses. It's a pity, then, that most people seem to stay for just one night. When we first stayed at the hotel it was because it is close to my wife's family in Boulogne and Issy, but now, after three or four visits, I'd strongly recommend Issy as an alternative to the usual Parisian tourist beat. I am surprised the hotel doesn't make more of an effort to promote this aspect. At least there should be some brochures on the local attractions and the RATP map no 5 (Hauts-de-Seine Sud) available in the lobby. Booking was fairly simple, though I think it could be tweaked - it can be a bit confusing as it's not always obvious whether the system has registered your preferences and extras, such as breakfast (which I'd thoroughly recommend). Once at the hotel, booking in is very quick and easy. The hotel and lobby layout is straightforward. The room was clean, neat and smart and the bed very comfortable, and the aircon kept the temperature blissfully cool while outside it reached 36degC! Our unit was quiet, but a fellow guest said the one in her room was so noisy it kept her awake. But overall the hotel and the area is quiet. The only addition I would love to see would be tea/coffee-making facilities, as is universal in the UK. It does make a difference, especially if it's a wet day or you fancy an early morning or late night cuppa. Breakfast was really a pleasure, as usual - there's a good selection of fresh croissants, pain au chocolat, fabulous bread, jams, cereals, cold meats, fresh fruit and so on. We also ate in the hotel in the evening a couple of times. I wasn't too excited by the main courses, but there was a good selection of salads (some with meat) for the starter, and the sweets looked tempting too. On one occasion when we arrived back rather late after the restaurant had closed, we had a hot meal from the small selection available in the bar area, which at least meant we didn't go to bed hungry. I don't know their names, but some of the staff were especially kind and friendly, and all were professional and helpful.

« No amenities in the hotel (not even a safe). Service was slow. My shower didn't drain. »

This was probably the worst hotel experience of my life. I'm not exaggerating - from an room that wasn't clean (hairs, etc), a shower that didn't drain, an iron that shorted the power to the whole floor, etc everything was poor. I would never stay at an Ibis again. I was previously a Club Accor member as well.

« Average »

Stay was fine. The room did not have a fridge, which was pretty surprising. Even the very cheapest motels I've stayed at provide a fridge in the room. Something to improve on.

« Overall fine. Dinner buffet not great at all, and room could do with TLC »

I'm gold status. I was therefore expecting a better experience. The room was the classic room, not an upgrade. Dinner was really average. I believe an effort is required on the Buffet. The Lasagna was really bad, and the chicken not great. The starter side of the buffet hardly had any lettuce. It was all about pasta, rice, and very saucy dishes, which I'm not a big fan of.

« Excellent hotel slightly outside Paris »

Excellent IBIS hotel in a quiet area a little bit outside Paris. Good service, clean and quiet. A few good places for an evening dinner on a walking distance.

« Excellent room, effective air condiitioning, helpful staff, quiet position, very good restaurant and facilities. »

I have been coming to this hotel for more than 28 years, I have always found it a pleasant experience through from when it was a Campanile to its current Ibis incarnation. A quiet, air conditioned room is greatly appreciated at a reasonable price. The restaurant food and service very pleasant.

« Everything OK for a short staying. »

Everything as expected, overall OK. The only thing was quite a long waiting to the restaurant, considering only few people were around. Your personnel offer a beer for apologize of the waiting, which instead I have found on the room bill the morning after (???).

« Convenient budget hotel »

This hotel is right next door to our offices and therefore I appreciate the stay there. Food could be a little more tasty. But for Paris, this hotel is ok.

« Very helpful staff, good location »

Everything was fine. Very helpful staff. The car park was easy and convenient, though some of your hotels require more security to have access to the rooms from the car park. Nice quiet room. Very good breakfast with a good choice. And the location with public transport nearby for Paris suited us fine.

« Another very comfortable stay »

Great hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast choices, close to transport network but in a quiet street, one road back from the River Seine. Great shops, restaurants and parks close by. A comfortable pleasant stay, with free internet, before my busy day of meetings.

« Very good service as usual »

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, as usual, I had a very good service and experience during my stay. The Staff was reactive (my flight had delay), very polite, helpful and responded to all requests. The room was clean, with the usual IBIS standard and had a good sleep. The only B-Moll were of course the Chinese tourists during breakfast, touching all the food, using all the equipment somehow wrongly (egg-boiler, juice-press), being loud and somehow behaving as if they own the whole room, which of course is due to cultural differences and not related to your service. Even though I must say, I had wonderful experiences in Germany, where the Chinese tourists were asked to have their breakfast a bit earlier, therefore leave a bit earlier and so the hotel was able to redo the buffet for the non-Chinese tourists, which were informed to have their breakfast after 7.30 if they wanted to enjoy the breakfast in a better environment. But your colleagues at the breakfast buffet reacted very well, by providing further tools, so the Chinese tourists could remove the loosely put in eggs from the boiling water, among other things your colleagues tried to compensate this situation. The one thing which somehow seems to be standard in all IBIS-hotels: The bread-knife is weak, in any IBIS-hotel. It barely cuts the bread. A better knife would be an improvement. But this is of course a small thing and it doesn't impact the overall experience. The Chinese lady bumping into me and nearly spilling coffee all over my white shirt was of course the bigger issue. Thank you for your time. Kind regards Peter
