We were let down by a few things; - not being told / pre warned about construction work taking place (this interferes with our wedding photos) - not being given things we were promised ie: champagne on our wedding night - was told we would have a king bed, it was queen

I'm not sure if I was upgraded but I had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and choice of shower heads. All amenities were provided and I like hotels which provide a flannel so you can easily wash your face. Staff were very helpful and provided directions to my event that evening. Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and was hot and tasty.

Accommodation (incl. breakfast) to attend the NSW Taxi Council Conference was booked over the phone for the period 27/10/18 - 30/10/18 inclusive. Full payment, in the amount of $756.00, was made by EFT on 12/09/18. When I arrived @ hotel the receptionist said that the booking had only been paid for 2 nights and proceeded to charge my credit card an additional $378.00. My Account Administrator contacted the hotel on Monday 29/10/18 to query this and was informed by another receptionist that the booking clearly showed the accommodation had been paid in full for 4 nights. This is not the first occasion that my credit card has been overcharged when attending this event and it is very disappointing that there is a breakdown in the system. I specifically paid this in full prior to check-in in order to avoid this happening again. Thankfully the receptionist the Account Administrator spoke with on 29/10/18 saw straight away that it had been paid in full and arranged for a full refund of the overcharged amount of $378.00 which was received within 3 working days.

Generally no problems, the bed and pillow were comfortable, the room was clean and the staff helpful, breakfast was OK. My first experience of finding the reception was a bit unusual but being on a construction site was understandable.
