Construction works around the hotel do not assist your stay and why be an Accor member you can do better deals elswhere.The hotel itself is in an ideal position for the area and staff are very pleasant.

« Great location and great rooms! »

A group of 3 of us stayed so we could go to see Adam Harvey at the RSL. We've done this several times before. The rooms are so good. Not squashed at all and a lovely bathroom. Easy to get over to the club to see the show. The only thing this time was the hideous parking. We had to call to find out how to get in. The sign is not very big. I understand this is temporary until the construction is finished. Overall, a great overnight stay!

The surroundings aren’t much but the hotel rooms and staff are great. The restaurant is fantastic. The meals are exceptional, quality is high and prices are very reasonable. The bar stocks a great variety of beverages and well worth a visit. I was very pleasantly surprised.

This was my third stay at this hotel and won't be my last. I was treated with a spacious, scrupulously clean suite with balcony on the 5th floor. It was very quiet and had all the facilities I needed for a most enjoyable stay. Little touches like soft drinks replenished daily to an ice machine in the outside corridor made the stay even more enjoyable, As a Platinum Accor Plus member I was able to enjoy complimentary breakfast each day in the 1st floor lounge/restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is one of my favourite Sydney hotels and I will be back again soon.

Since becoming a member of Rooty Hill RSL Club I have had three stays at Novotel Sydney West HQ hotel. I have enjoyed each experience and am sure to return many times in the future. I was given the same room as last time (517) which is a suite containing everything you could possibly want for a relaxing break. The facilities are scrupulously clean. I was glad to have a balcony. I think the provision of soft drinks as well as bottled water each day is a great service. Having been before I brought my own spirits to enjoy in the evenings. The ice machine in the corridor was the icing on the cake. As a Platinum Accor Plus member I enjoyed complimentary breakfast each day. I am pleased this is available from 6 am 7 days a week as I am a "morning person". I visited the RSL Club every day and took part in all promotions while I was there. I used my Club points to have dinner at Zest restaurant every evening. All up I had a most enjoyable 9 night stay during the school holidays (I am a high school music teacher).

I am a bit confused about the flower issue, were they organised from a supplier, and they didn't turn up ?, we always tell people to order from outside (roses only, etc) as we don't have a supplier for flowers, and if they turn up on time, we put them into the room. Whilst we were impressed with the room, the construction work was very disruptive. Firstly we could not work out where the parking for motel customers was, we finished up in a parking area near the bowling alley. When we eventually got to the foyer of the hotel web were told we should have parked out the front. We were in the area for a family wedding and when we returned around 11pm the car park was full and a guard opened the gates to a construction site to let us park. I know you have to expect dissruption during construction works but this was not acceptable.

overall it was quite disappointing. I found the service to be lacking. There was some dodgy guest going around steeling half eaten room service, that had been out out in the hallways for collection. The buffet breakfast was boring, as it had the same food options every day. The cleaners would come and scrub the public toilets on level 1 just after midnight.... this was noisy.

« Great Service but building work upsets the stay »

As always the staff are magnificent especially Rebecca in the restaurant. The building work in the car park and around the building makes it difficult to enter the hotel and is noisy from around 7.30am. Whilst I understand that Novotel cannot control this, I do think that the price that is being charged for a room is too high considering the inconvenience.
