I'd say that while the hotel itself might be fine if it were just a Novotel or alike, albeit the room is quite old, it's horrible value for money as a hotel in Hanoi given its price and the brand of Mgallery. The hotel barely met some of my most basic expectations from an Accor five-star property and has strongly damaged my confidence in staying with an unfamiliar Accor property in Southeast Asia in the future as a Platinum member. Even after I have complained to the management, I saw absolutely no action take to rectify nor to contain the damage. First of all, the hotel offered the cash upgrade option to me. It has been rare for Accor hotels to say it would only provide a one-level upgrade to Platinum members, given how hard it is to keep their top-tier status. Despite that, I agreed to the cash upgrade option so that the tiny room can accommodate 3 guests. However, what surprised me was that the upgrade option offered did not mention that it was exclusive of taxes. So is that true for the charge on the roll-away bed. I think It literally costs me USD200+ more to accommodate a third guest as the hotel tries to rob you. Most importantly, the breakfast service was a disaster. While the general manager denied that it was a racism thing for us to get treated differently as we were never provided with the À la carte menu while the waiters were so eager to provide the À la carte menu to caucasian guests - might be something common in some countries in Asia - but I'd be zero tolerant on that. The food option was horrible in the absence of À la carte menu which again we paid the full-money while got only a small fraction of the service we deserve. The hotel just didn't give a flying flamingo on what has happened and charged the full amount anyway. The hotel is just a scam. I am so disappointed that this is could happen in a top-tier branded Accor hotel. Just stay away - you'd be so disappointed to stay here. Should have just stay at JW Marriott or Hilton and both would have been so much better.

I used the hotel airport transfer and when I arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff had all of my documents ready to go and sign for check in. I arrived almost at midnight, so this was very helpful and made the process go quickly so I could get to my room. The room itself had a bit of an odd layout in comparison to other rooms I've had at this hotel before, but the bed was comfy and the bathroom had wonderful lighting for applying makeup. Breakfast is decent. Regardless of any quirks, this hotel is worth many return stays for the excellent customer service provided.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant (breakfasts and lunches) was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is great (a short walk to the old town). Gym was just OK. The only issue we had was that (without adequate warning) our conference rooms were disassembled and reset on two of the four evenings for other events. We didn't get to warn our participants to take their notes with them and the staff just piled them all up (so everyone's papers were mixed up the next day). It happened twice.

Very good experience overall. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and space efficient. They were a bit dark however and the lighting system is complicated. Pool outdoors area is very nice, it’s too bad the water is a bit cold especially for kids.

The room is amazing. But the staff are all lack of enthusiasm. I think the staff needs a bit more energy, needs to be a little more welcoming. The staff do not even seem to be interested to help nor patient. Initially i thought it was nearly quite late when we checked in, but no, throughout the whole stay, they are like that. The level that I was at, i think it needs refurbishing. The corridor is extremely smelly, well very unpleasant smell. The room is great. Cleaner are friendly too. The bed is amazing!!!

Generally a good hotel to stay, except 1) booked a king-size bed but was given a 2 singles combined, without notification. 2) due to above, the bed base board was so huge (protruded almost 30cm on both sides) causing danger while getting down from bed 3) bed height is too high, my height is 1.68m 4) checked out on 25 Sept ay 0650, only 1 counter staff available, to serve both checking in and out customers. Waited slightly more than 10 minutes to check out.

First of all let me say that this is one of a few hotels that I truly love and always looking forward to coming back! The service of this place is top notch! From checking in to arriving in my room, they always go the extra miles for you! They always serve you this yummy purple welcome drink that I absolutely love complimented with a butter cookie as a welcome complimentary while you’re checking in! This year, I arrived in my room to find a written note from the manager welcoming me back (yes, they keep track of their loyal customers), a sparkling bottle of water and some almond cookies as another welcome gift! The sweet gesture made me feel welcomed and I was very surprised by it! I always love how spacious my room is! I can spread out and enjoy the space! I feel at home whenever I stay here for business! Now, obviously the people who make my stay a comfortable place are the staff here! They are respectful and always at service whenever you need! Always super sweet with a bright smile on their faces, whether it’s early morning or late night! I cannot thank this hotel enough for their wonderful service and I’m happy to call this place my home away from home whenever I’m on this side of the world! Love love love my stay here always and I can’t wait to come back next time!

Very polite staff. Excellent pool & gym. Good breakfast. Good overall service. Turning on the light in the room during the night was an adventure. Eventually I took my phone to use it to find the right switch (too far from the bed, anyway) The bathrobe was generous in size, but made of synthetic material. I did not use such a horror.

overall Hotel services are excellent, the breakfast is good, the bed is a way too high for Asian people. City taxi has to be very careful, they tends to either pretend don’t know the actual address to gain more money or fake their meters to ripe off their customers.
