« Quite good but breakfast service a bit confused. »

As enjoyable as the previous visit. Disappointed at the length of time (30 minutes) it took to provide a cooked breakfast on our final day. We entered the restaurant at 06.30, there was only one other guest present and no reason I could work out what caused the delay. The room was spotlessly clean, although a little gloomy and all the staff appeared bright and friendly.

Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with the service in the restaurant on one occasion. As a long time Sofitel rewards card member, I have come to appreciate the edgy, eclectic style of your brand. I have to say, however that color scheme in our room was very off-putting and downright depressing. Black ceilings and walls seem more suited to the inside of a coffin, not an upscale hotel room, and entering the bathroom was like walking into a pumpkin. Also, the lighting was harsh and lighting controls were not intuitive or the least bit convenient. This part of our experience was a complete miss.

check in was a breeze. the connecting rooms were great. lots of space. well appointed rooms. Hotel staff were very efficient, and friendly. hotel pickup was probably where you can improve on. I understand the pickup is outsourced, but the quality is a little spotty . quality of car was so-so. I'm used to a consistency and quality when I travel in the region. for example, hotels in Manila uses Hertz or Avis car service. there is a min. standard of the driver and the cars. there are waters and towels inside.

The title says it all. This was our first time in Hanoi and the hotel provided all the comforts of home and service to boot! Management and staff were all very friendly and service-oriented and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Was a brief 1 night stay as I came to celebrate the soon-to-dawn upon us Lunar new year... Due to my hectic travels, I could not buy a festive gift hamper for my Hanoi clients. From moment I told them, the staff team checked online, jumped into a cab, zoomed to VinMart and got me what I wanted for my client - all this within 2 hours from check in. Where can you find such service? Except in the M'Gallery by Sofitel Hanoi! Exceptional!

It was a beautiful room that I had. It was comfortable, and the pillow menu was a nice touch. The only drawback was the finer touches, for example, no powerpoint for the kettle, and so I ended up boiling the water on the floor.

It is one of my favorite rooms in the Hotel with a wonderful outdoor terrace overlooking Hanoi and the beautiful Opera House. I apologize however for the oversight with regard to the kettle placement. You are right that there is no convenient outlet close to the mini bar. The closest would be on the writing desk. We arrived around noon and we were placed in a room on the 2nd floor next to the mechanics, repairmen. We had windows but they were interior windows with people working in the area. We kept the curtains closed and it felt like a cave. There was just a curtain between the bathroom and the sleeping area. At night it sounded like they were remodeling. We continued to hear drilling through the night.

In particular, I wish to commend one of your interns--a lovely young lady named Quynh, I believe. She was a server at breakfast. (It is my understanding that Quynh is a university student, who trains periodically at your hotel.) Quynh is hard-working, modest, sweet, humble, and seemingly unspoiled--in short, a high quality person. Please share a copy of these comments with Quynh. These comments probably should also be placed in her university file. The hall carpeting on my floor was badly worn at the end of the hall. It should be replaced both for safety and image reasons.
