« Just ok, clean, compact but lots of things could be improved »

Hotel is central, friendly staff, clean, but needs some improvements. It's noisy, you can hear what's going on in other rooms & corridors & that really effects sleep quality. Blinds don't block out the light from the window, need backing. Huge gap under main door which pours light in from hallway. Not a great place for actually sleeping. Towels stink of onions when they get wet. Lack of value for money in bar. Room was very hot and window only opened partially and didn't seem secure with wall from flats running up to the window.

Rooms were comfortable, bed was not great and sheets could do with an upgrade. Also had a fire alarm go off during the night with no announcement as to what it was.

It was ok. The room was adequate. The towels were the worst I've used. The girl at check-in was unhelpful and disinterested and a poor ambassador for your hotel.

« Very confortable room, good location, poor service »

Stayed for one night after a conference in Wales before flying back. Chosed by location and accessibility, coming from Paddington. Room was excellent, breakfast acceptable (too crowded and noisy) and food was average. Service is not so good as receptionists also function as cleaning personnel for breakfast and guests pile up to checkin, checkout and ask questions, call a taxi, etc at the booth functioning as reception. Worse is that some receptionists DO NOT KNOW LONDON which is not acceptable. Having no idea about Victoria train station is unbelievable. Taxi company estimate given on the phone of a service to Victoria was 14 pounds, taxi driver wanted 22. the taxi called by the hotel did not have a meter so the driver can squeeze you. so, excellent room, good location but terrible service. You have to know London not to depend on the service the hotel personnel cannot provide...

« After a problematic start it turned out to be a great stay »

A few days before arrival I sent a message asking for the 2 booked rooms to be nearby. After arrival it turned out that it were connecting rooms on the first floor, which was great, but one was for disabled people and had a strong "hospital" feeling (also no place to put the luggage, e.g. a small foldable rack). After checking back with the reception we got that room switched to a "normal" one on the 4th floor. So in the end, the two rooms weren't "nearby" at all, but at least both were normal rooms. (Didn't want to ask to switch the other room, too, to not cause more inconvenience for housekeeping.) But the rest of the stay was perfect as were our stays before.

« Very cute spot »

The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time in London and the location was great being so close to the train and a bunch of stores and malls. My only complaint is that the breakfast package I purchased was the same every day and eating the same breakfast for 8 days could get tiresome. I would stay here again!

« Great hotel for a stay in London »

The hotel is located near Underground, Overground and Bus stops Shepherds Bush and therefore well connected to public transport. As in cities like London space is very expensive, it is quite a luxury to have a standard sized ibis room. Rooms are designed following the latest ibis style guide and are equipped with super comfy ibis sweet beds. They guarantee good sleep.Breakfast is rich and "Full English", so you can easily skip lunch. Wifi works smooth and with good performance. Bar has a good selection of beers. Did not try wine, though. All staff members I met are very friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back.

Two nights stay for a short trip to London. The Ibis is in an excellent situation on the edge of Shepherd's Bush Green and easy access to tube/bus etc for journeys to other parts of the city. plenty places nearby to eat/drink etc and a mere stone's throw away to possibly the largest retail mall in the UK! Clean rooms and friendly staff. very reasonable rates and good breakfast buffet choice.

« Friendly, comfy stay »

As always, our stay at the Ibis Shepherds Bush was very pleasant and comfortable. The room was quiet, the bed very good. The door to the bathroom was difficult to shut, and once shut it kept opening! But apart from that we were very happy with the arrangements. Breakfast was tasty, and we had a lively chat with another couple , visiting from Australia, which was a delight.

Room was simple and adequate. Walls unfortunately were thin as I can feel the bed board move every time the next room slams the room door. I can hear the conversations along the corridor and it can be disruptive when you are trying to sleep. The breakfast spread was good and tasty and highlight of the stay. The £5 voucher in exchange for no housekeeping service was a good initiative by the hotel which in turn guests can use it for F&B in the hotel. The hotel is walking distance to Shepherd Bush tube station which is convenient. Lots of food choices around the area and West Field.
