« Staff very helpful, lovely room, lovely breakfast, some shortcomings. »

This was our second stay at Ibis Shepherd's Bush. Your staff as ever, were very polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The room was lovely, quiet and breakfast was wonderful. However, I get a little frustrated by having to constantly ask for extra towels. I understand that you are trying to help the environment but one towel is not enough to dry yourself and your hair, especially if your hair is long like mine. Also, If I put a towel on the floor because it is very wet, generally that means it needs replacing. This did not happen. There seemed to be one other change since our previous stay with you, the pillow. It was very hard and uncomfortable. Personally, we prefer a smaller softer pillow and it would be nice to have an alternative in the room. They seem like small things but can affect the stay.

« Okay but could have been better. »

Was okay, but room was so warm, even trying to adjust temperature and opening the window slightly made us stay awake quite a lot of the night. Also the zip on the extra pillows case was broken so we had to use our coats underneath our one pillow each. Did not experience this before at the Ibis.

I wasn’t expecting anything much but how wrong can you be 1) the staff where helpful but we had a slight problem with a extra child’s bed, the manger came out and sorted straight away. 2) we need a comfy chair for a disabled person that was bought to our room. 3) a disability shower chair was also bought with out asking... it was spotless clean even underneath the chair. 3) the room was well arranged again spotless. 4) the house keeping staff we passed in the hallways where polite and cleaned any little Mark they found on the hall way carpets. 4) the entrance area was welcoming and modern. 5) on our return we had a bag with some games in for the children and a card hoping we enjoyed our stay.... very nice touch! I cannot remember the managers name but she is a credit to your company. I have recommended to many people since my return home and I would most definitely stay again.

« Nice stay for New Years »

We had a nice stay for the New years eve. The hotel is a bit outside the areas where most tourists stays, but with perfect access to public transport you can be anywhere in London in just a matter of minutes. We have stayed several places in London during our previous visits, but this one is absolute one of our favourites. Plus for a really nice breakfast and a very kind staff.

« A nice quiet atmosphere with no problems »

It was lovely. The only gripe it that we are aware of check out being 12 so we were very disappointed that the cleaning lady was rushing to get us out and proceeded to open the door when it was only 11.30 in the morning and I had spoken to her that we were still in the room.

This time it was not to our satisfaction compared to our previous stay one week ago. First while checking we were surprised to hear that we had not paid for our stay while same has been paid since october 2017. Secondly we were given a room on the 2nd floor which had a strong smell of paint. As our daughter is allergic we had to change the room after 1 am on the 5th of january 2018.

great hotel in a great location, with very friendly staff. the main problem was with cleanliness, one pillow stank and was clearly not changed after use by the previous guest. the toilet also stank and I had to wash the whole bathroom with the shower. either it wasn't cleaned properly or the mop used is dirty from over use from room to room. there was also dust and cobwebs everywhere! the towels were also very old and started to yellow from over bleaching! serious attention is required to improve the cleaning services provided by the hotel. The staff were open, friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is very convenient for the tube. The room was clean, and felt secure enough. The staff were vigilant about who came into the hotel, and the lift had a key card requirement. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is near a shopping mal Westfield and the underground and buses are accessible. The breakfast was good. Location is very good and price is reasonable. It is the the best for shopping purposes and going to the cinema at any time.

« Fairly expensive hotel that felt like student housing »

Everything about the room was cheap: the furnishings were like IKEA castoffs, the toilet paper was the thinnest and harshest available and the beds were sized for 10 tear-olds. There were no basic amenities: no shampoo or conditioner, no tissues (you have to blow your nose with toilet paper), and no plug for a hair dryer in the bathroom. We had to request an iron and ironing board and it disappeared the next time the room was cleaned. I know London is expensive - I thought we’d get a better deal staying in a residential neighbourhood (Shepherds Bush) - but for more than £200 a night this was worse than a Motel 6. The only advantage is that it wasn’t far from the Underground station.

I just wanted to give you a few explanations about your below comments, I agree for the toilet paper it's not great quality but it's the one we are being requested by our head office to buy because it's recycled. We did share it with our bosses at our last meeting and trust that this comment has already been addressed. Concerning the bed size, you were in a twin and I am sorry that it seemed small for you, these are the normal single bed size in UK. In our country we also have no right (due to health and safety) to put a plug (other than a shaver socket) in the bathroom hence you didn't have one. Nothing ibis can do about this it's the law unfortunately but I concede it's convenient. In the shower the soap is for hair and body, the standard is not to provide conditioner however we always have some complimentary at reception if needed. Sorry as well that we took your iron, due to the relatively tiny space in the room we normally remove the ironing board, I believe the cleaner just tried to be thoughtful and didn't want to bother you at all. « Second visit but probably the last.... »

We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago to visit Olympia horse show and had a great experience hence the decision to book again this year. The hotel is in a great location, very reasonably priced, modern, clean and the staff lovely however the twin beds in our room were very uncomfortable and appeared to only have a very thin mattress (less than 2 inches) on top of the bed base - totally different to beds at other Ibis hotels we have stayed at. Unfortunately we were also given a room on the top floor by the lift and were woken on a few of occasions in the early hours due to noise from other guests returning to their rooms. Thankfully the hotel was quieter on the second night but due to the uncomfotable bed I got very little sleep. We will not stay again as a good night's sleep is more important than anything.

« Good place and nice stay »

Generally overall good. The first 2 days no complaint. The last was disappointed with breakfast. Slow to refill food and clean up meant that my breakfast went cold and my wife who is gluten free had toast and scones previous days which was amazing but they had no scones on the Sunday even knowing we were still there. Thus very limiting for her.
