Ibis Styles Liverpool After trying for 1.5 hrs to get to the hotel,on the Giants weekend, we finally arrived. The staff said come back at 1400 for checkin. We arrived back about 1500, we were checked in to the 7th Floor. We had booked the room for 2 guests, there was only 1 towel & hand towel in the room, another one had to be sent up. The next morning we went to use the shower, the container was empty for soap etc, thank goodness, we had soap from previous hotel to use, we didnt say anything about it. We went out for the day & the room was serviced to a degree. We only had one towel again, NOT happy had to go downstairs again to request another one, after checking the bathroom, we had no plastic cups replacement & to top it off no soap was replenished in the shower. As a Silver Member, not really impressed with housekeeping, it appears they dont really do their job correctly. The staff at reception had to come & refit the new soap dispenser & bring up the extra towels

« A Rather Wacky Hotel »

A small Beetles Themed hotel in a central location within easy walking distance of most attractions. Excellent continental breakfast, with tea and coffee available within the reception area throughout the day. Good pubs locally providing good verity of food and ales in the evenings. Hotel Staff very friendly and helpful. Beetles background music at breakfast very amusing!

« Very nice shelter in the center of Liverpool »

I was here with my boyfriend to begin a new life in Liverpool, spent almost 2 weeks while we were looking for a place to live. This hotel was very welcoming, all the staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I would make you notice is a weird smell in the bathroom. If will leave open an unpleasant smell comes in the room and we can't open the window to refresh the air. The breakfast was great.

« Great Location »

This hotel is well placed and the current car park is literally around the corner. The rooms are small but have everything you need. The bathroom capsule is unusual but everything works well and there was plenty of hot water in the shower.

I was unable to eat breakfast on both mornings of my stay as there were large amounts of tour groups staying in the hotel at the same time as me, they had been allocated times for breakfast which were 7, 7:30, etc so there was no time for me to get breakfast as I had to be at work for 8:30. I was not warned of this on arrival and was just informed the usual information about what time breakfast, this is not acceptable as breakfast is included in the price of the room. I was staying in room 721 which was next to a utility room with a boiler that was very loud all through the night, so I was unable to sleep. Also the bathroom had an unbearable smell of bleach.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; yes we did have group breakfast but only for 33 people and we have 50 spaces so the rest of the space being taken up we cannot control i'm afraid, we do place signs in the lifts advising of the busiest times for breakfast and offering you the option to take breakfast to your room if you would like to, I am sorry if this was not an option for you. We would like to have more seating for breakfast and this is something I am working on presently in the form of a request for funding to enlarge and redesign the breakfast space, whilst this does not help you I hope you will understand we are trying to do something to resolve this. We strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. Should you return to Liverpool again please get in touch with me directly and I will arrange a complimentary one night stay by way of apology and also so you may give us the chance to offer you a better experience. The hotel is perfectly situated close to railway station and in the centre of the many attractions on offer in Liverpool. The staff were friendly. The cost was reasonable. The room and public areas were clean and functional. As most of my time was spent out and about in Liverpool it was a perfect choice.

Arrived Friday 28th September member of staff kindly showed us exactly where the car park was. Tourist information was given. Room was very clean and functional. Security was excellent. Breakfast was displayed nicely and was enjoyable. Useful to have tea and coffee free in the bar. Room was cleaned well and there was a plentiful supply of tea etc.

The hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Liverpool, close to the railway station and various attractions. Staff were friendly and efficient.
