« Excellent hotel in Shanghai »

This is my 5 times in this hotel and everything is always perfect. Peoples professional and friendly, room comfortable, clean, with a lot of bathroom amenities, five stars breakfast for quality and quantity of food. The hotel is very well located with the subway station very close. It's easy to arrive from PUDONG airport using maglev train and metro.

« my favorite hotel in China so far »

I've stayed in several different hotels in China and this one was definitely my favorite. The location was absolutely perfect. It was so conveniently located by the train station and subway system. You could get to anywhere in Shanghai easily from this hotel. The lobby and my room were both beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The shower felt amazing after a long day of sight-seeing. The staff were very friendly and were easy to communicate with in English.

Another excellent stay in an Accor Hotel. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff were very helpful and professional. Stayed on a premier floor in a well appointed room that included turn down service each night. The premier lounge was quiet and the staff were always welcoming. The hotel is right next to Shanghai Railway Station making my day trip to Suzhou easy. Special thank you to the concierge staff for checking train times and writing all the information I needed in Mandarin. Made ticket purchase easy.

Overall everything was fine. If there was a workout room there. If there was I could not find it. Also, I really wish I had gotten a room with a better view.

Great property and much better than it was under Mercure brand. However there are things that are bittersweet, like the picture taken at the check-in (same as they do at immigration an highly uncomfortable) or the breakfast served on the Ground Floor, literally near the exit. Service is great, WiFi excellent an route outside the Great Wall. Stunning Club Lounge where you may chill after a heavy day at work.

Hostesses and pimps in the lobby making for an unpleasant sight. Concierge unhelpful with flagging a taxi, more interested in chatting among themselves. The executive lounge staff were great, especially Paula and a young Chinese lady whose name I do not recall.

I never stayed in this hotel before even I have been in Shanghai many times before and chose this hotel just to be in a different place, when I arrived at the hotel I was welcomed and taken to my room ( by the way I ordered a twin room) that is when I found that thy gave me a two room suite complete whit a automatic coffee machine a bath room whit a rain shower and bath a very large safe a sofa and coffee table and a desk with very good free internet , the breakfast could not be better every thing is there for the Westeners and for the Chinese in fact it is a complete international breakfast, the service is excellent , the bellboys are very good and aim to please.

« Great stay! The best price/quality ratio. »

+Check-in and check-out were fast and without any problems.+Room was clean and spacious.+Gym and sauna are very good. And gym is working 24 hours (sadly sauna closes at 23).+Managers were very pleasant. Sometimes their english speaking is poor, but that never was a real problem. I'd really like to pick out Rex Zhu on the reception desk and thank him personally for great service. +The stair to the guest floors is open, so I used it from time to time.+Sleep was excelent, nice bed and good pillows. Also they gave us a second blanket (which sometimes is a problem).+Location is just 20-25 minutes walking/5 minutes on taxi from city's center, and very close to two subway stations. But the neighborhood itself is not that cozy, 'cause it's near the Railway station. +Internet is very good for China, without complicated registrations in network.-Buffet breakfast is too simple. Pullman in Kuala Lumpur had much better breakfast and even Novotel in Shanghai (which is Accorhotels too, but a cheaper option) had better breakfast with more choices. Here it's not a lot of choice, always a deficit of soft cheeses (even in the executive lounge) and very bad croissants.-Three elevators sometimes is not enough-It was to hot in the room and the a/c didn't make much difference, but staff fixed this on a second day.-Someone smoked in the gym's changing room and toilet on the first floorSome wishes for the next stay:1. Please, buy an ab wheel for the gym. It's very cheap after all.2. Please, watch more carefully for smoking in all areas. 3. Please, work with your breakfast. Right now it's really not on the level with everything else in your hotel.

Good hotel, really up to the Pullman level. Way better than the Pullman Skyway. Slightly disappointing reception staff friendliness and welcome Tiny bar, can't even call it an actual bar, it's more like a little drink corner Perfect location for public transport
