The senior executive room is nice but not the standard room. Price-Quality relation is not worth it compared to what you can get in other hotels.

« Convenient area, nice clean room. »

The Hotel is at the usual Pullman Standards, so clean and nice rooms. When I can I choose Always Pullman as I know they are the same good standards everywhere in the world. This one is in a convenient area, walking distance to Shanghai Train Station and 1 min. walt from undersground. Maybe the entrance Hall is not at the standards of other Pullman Hotels, but this I do not care so much.

« Poorly coordinated with bad service »

My stay was below average. To start, I originally booked two deluxe room on the executive floor with breakfast and lounge access for 4people through Accor hotels. When I got to the hotel, they mentioned my booking could not be found, next they stated that it was under a wrong name. Please keep in mind that I personally booked the hotel with my AccorHotels account. After checking in, the clerk did not inform me about how to access the executive lounge. Once we went to the executive lounge, I was told that we do not have access and would have to pay. After discussing we the clerk and showing our original booking; she spoke with the manager who mentioned that he would come and discuss with me. However he never came. After 30mins, I asked the lounge waiter to help me contact the manager. I spoke with him and it took quite a lot of explanation. He was apologetic and as a token of their apologies, sent us a basket of fruit. (two apples and an orange). I do not want to sound needy but at a prestigious hotel, I would have expected more. Of course the hotel itself was beautiful and the A/C worked. Ultimately I was underwhelmed and would not recommend this hotel to others given the several better selections that are available in Shanghai.
