older hotel with strange room layout in a place where you need a car to get around. expensive food options in hotel. not very friendly staff.

- Staff was very nice in the hotel. - Room is clean - WiFi is good. All in all it was a nice stay. Just one note: I could not lower the AC on the room. It is either ON or OFF. Could improve this, would be better.

I visit Khobar for business and usually stay at Mercure Khobar for its convenient location, but since 6 months now the level of service has declined. No any toothbrush or shaving kit in the bathroom, limited room service options from the printed menu list.

« normal hotel, hope to be better »

room was bad, not good view, when I checked with front desk, they change my room to my booking. first room was not my selection. A/C could not bee controlled. Iftar was big issue, as most of the table was booked for outsiders guests, the hotel guest left in big table at the end of the dinning. No verity in Sohour, the food was 4 out of 10. No welcome drink was offer, during Ramadn, this can be given in the evening, like other hotels. the only positive thing in this hotel, late check out. I hope some can read and improve, otherwise, waste of time

I booked using ACCOR site to pay with my points, unfortunately the hotel hade me to pay instead ????? This could have caused me troubles if I did not have enough credit on my credit card. This made me totally un satisfied.

« Overpriced and not value for money »

Wanted to know firstly does it show upon check-in my status at Accor. Been a Gold member I was not offered any room upgrade or asked for and no welcome drink was offered. Also upon check-out I requested the bill to be sent to my email and unfortunately I didn't get an email of the invoice.

Despite a slow check in caused by a printer problem, the stay was mainly good. The room over looking the sea and corniche was comfortable and well equipped. The renovation/refurbishing with drilling from 8am was not good. Certainly not conducive to sleep nor concentration for working. Would have been nice to have been warned before/on booking! Lobby coffee shop is good and service friendly and professional. Check out was much better. Good location and will stay again when in the area.

I selected Mercure because the Accor group of hotels inspired me somehow trust, modern properties and quality of services. In Mercure Al KLhobar I founf the opposite.

« Better than any other Mercure I have visited »

Superb stay of over a month, in a room with views over the Corniche and out to sea. Great help from Majed and Mohammed at Reception desk, among others. Top-floor restaurant has buffet-style meals, with views that are enchanting. This is a franchised Mercure, and you can tell this because the management is very responsive and always looking for ways to add value to the guest experience.
