Excellent weekend as always. Service is fantastic. Food is superb. The company helped to make it a fabulous weekend. This is my go to place for business planning and relaxing. The day spa is first class.

We all had an enjoyable stay and would come again. A few small hiccups at mealtime were quickly fixed. Yummy breakfast . A request to a staff member for 4 chairs to go with the small table insitu on the terrace above the vineyard was quickly attended to enabling us to enjoy a leisurely few hours playing canasta with out friends whilst enjoying the supurb views across the valley. Pool was very inviting in such hot weather however I feel a small sail would be advantageous since there is no shade of any kind in the pool area. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Beds and pillows were super comfy, we both slept very well.lovely and quiet surroundings.

We were staying for 2 nights. It was good choices for staying in Mercure for several days before New years eve. The place was located in nice, quiet & peaceful area. Also, it is clean, beautiful & has some facilities such as restaurants , swimming pool, garden, tennis court, message. So, we can spend our time inside Mercure since it is far from others. Moreover there is a beautiful lake and dam which we can from the lodgd.

Overall our experience was great. Room was very comfortable and well decorated, staff were very friendly and accommodating, pool was a great place to relax with a book as was the room balcony. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. All with stunning views. Only minor things I can think of to say that could be improved were the quality of the tv in our room where the picture was not great and the water pressure of the shower, as I said these were very minor issues though!

Very good. Pleasant checkin. We suggest the Dining area could be improved by adding some modern light fittings for ambience. Also the access to stairs and ramp from car park is difficult with cars parked to edge of both stairs and ramp. Suggest painting an access on asphalt so only a motor bike has right to park in reduced area. We stayed as a retired staff member benefit.

Gym equipment and room totally inadequate and or not working and air conditioner not able to be adjusted. Pool did not have hand rails near steps. My elderly father slipped and cut his leg on the tiles - required first aid. No lifts to upstairs accommodation and no staff offered to carry my parents luggage. So despite having one "accessible" room (which we were not offered), the hotel is definitely not accessible to anyone who is elderly or disabled. Otherwise the hotel is situated in a beautiful location and the staff tried to be helpful.

From early check in (changed our allocated room to allow us to check in), the bottle of wine, the lovely outdoor table for evening drink & dinner, very tasty dinner (steak was well cooked), comfortable room & pleasantly being woken by the local birds, then a pleasant breakfast and a lovely late check out (after watching a movie. Only issue was the gym - hot, airconditioning seemed of little use (if it was working after I turned the lights on), little equipment & what was there wasn't all working. A pity.

« A little disappointing this time around! »

Have been a couple of times before and it was great both times. This time room was not ready on arrival at 2.00 pm. Receptionist was to text us to let us know when it was ready. We went back to reception in half an hour and she had forgotten all about us waiting. Restaurant food was delicious, however, waiting time was very long and service was slow. We had to follow up on our dessert after about 45 minutes and were also not offered any drinks after initial contact from the waiter. Disappointing considering our earlier visits have been fantastic. I love the peace and tranquillity it offers only a short distance from Brisbane CBD!

I had food in the fridge and a razor from the bathroom thrown away by housekeeping after the first day when I was booked for two days. When I returned from a day out there was no parking and the best you could come up with was to ask me to park on the street!!! But then staff were leaving and I waiting 10 minutes for them to get to their cars before I could park. Then where I parked was the furthest I could be from my room. Very inconvenient. We waited over an hour for food in a restaurant that was not busy and the food was very average. Steak overcooked and pasta not fluffy like you would expect from the price tag. Upon departure I decided to check what I had been billed for. There was a mini bar charge and I never took anything from the mini bar. There was also a lunch charge and I never ate lunch at the lodge at all. So overall, my stay was disappointing.

We stayed last year and the experience was great,- hence why we booked again. A number of small issues throughout the stay:- extra 1hr taken to be checked in, ( room wasn't ready), told to go and have a drink & they will call when room was ready ( said approximately 20min as the cleaners were in the room). After waiting an hour we went back, the receptionist forgot who we were and started to repeat the same reason as we first arrived, (but this time the cleaners haven't even started in the room). I did request an upgrade in to Delux but nothing was mentioned at check in so I assumed we were in a Delux sweet. When we finally were checked in ( the receptionist couldn't find us a available a room for another 30min). The room was very disappointing, small TV, 2 beds ( we are a couple), Air con sounded it was about to die and was facing the wall ( not cooling the room at all). The gardens were geting moved and we could hear the main road. I went town to the reception only to be told sorry, not able to upgrade due to being booked out and someone should've told us that when we checked in. We tried to have dinner at the restaurant only to be told at 5:30pm that the restaurant was booked out due to no staff or chefs available. ( the second restaurant would not be opening at all), and that no reservations are taken outside. ( If it wasn't for the chef walking out and requesting to the wait staff we be seating we would not have a table). At 7pm your restaurant was half full. ( 10 tables at best). On Sat night we decided not to bother with the restaurant and order room service. after 10 min a waitress rang to say she couldn't process the order as she couldn't charge it to the room as the receptionist didn't keep my Credit Card details on file, so I had to go down and pay for the meal if I still wanted dinner.After taking a good 40min after the call, the meals did come up cold. The steak was ordered Med-Rare but came up rare. There was no point sending it back, we were hungry. There was nothing major that was a big issue during our stay, but definitely no one went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay, ( except for the wonderful chef who insisted we had a table outside for dinner). Like I said, just disappointing.

Booked a couple of nights to spend with my husband - first holday dince having our daughter 14 months ago. Check in was quick and easy. We booked a privilege room which was smaller then i expected but the view was great. We decided to have dinner at the on site restaurant, being a public holiday they had a 15% surcharge which I was ok with. Service however was bad. Took 10 minutes just to get menus. We ordered a entree and main. The entree came out nice and quick and was delicious but that was the only positive. We had ordered gnocchi and grilled chicken for the mains. These took over 1.5hrs to come out. Was not happy. We were asked several times if we wanted more drinks and our mains wouldn't be too much longer. When we followed up on the mains in took 20mins for them to tell us what was going on. It looks as though the kitchen had lost our order. Was happy that they said we would not be charged for the meal as it was unacceptable that we had the wait that long which made up for it. Dinner the second night was much better. Buffet breakfast was pretty average. Won't be in a hurry to come back.

We had a very generous upgrade to the two bedrooms apartment on the top floor. However the check in process was somewhat slow as people with Groupon bookings occupied the only staff and the dedicated Platinum member desk was unattended. The room has been refurbished to meet the current Mercure standard and we enjoyed the big balcony overlooking the valley. There is no bathtub and the shower again no handheld shower head, anyone knows why? The restaurant provides an extensive dinner menu complimented with onsite organic herbs and local produce. The seafood items were better cooked than the lamb, pork belly and steaks. A bit short handed Front of house and the food were super slow. Accor Plus has been accepted here again very generous management. The pool is big and quite but may well because it’s age and poor appearance. Some feature walls or light blue tiles to its buttom may bring it back to life again. Minimum entertainment activities onsite and plenty of insect and animal encounters as you would expect from a mountain lodge, so lock up your doors and windows sleep early! Overall a good stay for the family members to rest after the busy Christmas and New Year period. Very well Le Club and Accor Plus recognitions. So stay loyal as the perks beat the Groupon!

Nice place good foods steak is so yummy Stafff are friendly good location view are very nice if you love nature stay in this place good stay if you like motorbiking you can stay in this hotel they also have place if you want to be marry on this place you can use this hotel as venue for any party very quite very nature there is also a nice swimming fool
