It was a nice stay for 3 nights, but the areas to improve upon are: 1) TV viewing in the room. Guests should be able to view programmes of their choice and not just what is available. 2) It is good to make profit in the business but prices should not only be competitive but also attractive. 3) The room facilities should be checked regularly and properly to ensure they function well.

I have stayed at the IBIS Ikeja a number of times. This time I was disturbed by the amount of black dust on the bottom of the pool, and by the stains at the top of the toilet bowl.

On your request, I have the following summary on the lowlight: Checkin was difficult as I waited for over three hours to be checked in; gave preference to the white men maybe they paid in foreign currency. Laundry Services were not working and did not get the iron to stretch my cloth for the three days I was in the hotel. The bath was leaking water and the whole toilet was covered by water and effort to get a mopping towel was not successful until I went down to the hotel reception to pick one. The managers of the hotel and reception staff on duty were incompetent and they lack professional touch in planning for incoming customers as the first experience matters a lot. They are careless and not committed to delivering and such need further training. The staff in the restaurant are better committed and they have been delivery without many issues.

The food was very good but the room needs improvement to meet the international standard. the bedspread and the towels needs to be changed to new ones as the ones there were a bit old. More so, the matrass needs to be changed to a better ones.

My stay was okay. However i fell there should be some renovations done in the rooms. The towels are quite old and we never get a shower cap in the rooms for the ladies.

Everything was neat and nice. However, there is room for improvement as regards salad and dessert offer. I ordered an Ibis salad for dinner, and some ingredients (tomatoes, corn) were not fresh. I was also pushed by the waiter to order dessert (chocolate fondant with ice-cream), which turned out to be very dry with stale taste. Even though I commented on this to the waiter, the feedback was received carelessly. Disappointing experience for a hotel of such standing.
