« Comfort, Location, and Value »

These are all characteristics one hopes for in a hotel. Ibis Sagrada Familia provided these and more. The hotel was a quiet oasis 2 blocks from the frenetic atmosphere of one of the city’s top attractions. The hotel is very close to not only one metro station, but two of them, so you have a better chance of finding a direct train to your destination. The staff was considerate and met any need we could throw at them, including offering us the use of a phone that would allow us to dial a free long distance call when we needed to have our cell phone service temporarily suspended when the phone was stolen. We thought that was above and beyond what a guest could expect. You’re in good hands with Ibis.

Helpful staff. The hotel was clean and comfortable and breakfast offered a good selection of items. The disappointment was the VIP Gold card treatment. We had to pay for water and we couldn’t even have one small glass of spirit under the scheme of complimentary coffee. As a gold card holder with other hotel groups this doesn’t compare favourably and is a very mean and limited offering

The staff was superb & so excellent. My wallet was stolen while visiting Sagrada Familia & your staff was so very helpful re this dilemma. They helped to soothe my frazzled state & to help me plot the necessary visit to the American Embassy to get a new passport. They are the best & you so lucky to have such a crew! There was Sandra & Baptist & Victoria who were all so excellent & who made this a hotel that I would highly recommend & that I would stay at again. The room was cozy & clean. The breakfast buffet terrific. But again it is the gracious & excellent & eager to help staff that was the very best experience of all! My most hearty thanks to them All!!!☺️

« It was not an interesting stay. »

1. The breakfast is not tasty. 2. The staff is not kind and helpful. It was a week I do not eat rice. I bought rice from a supermarket. However, I do not find a microwave. I was thinking that I can ask the hotel staff to heat my rice. The staff said that they do not heat any food from outside.

The hotel prices in Barcelona during the MWC are the highest of the year so we align our prices to the reality of the situation in Barcelona. By the way we are so sorry that the smell in the room was not appropriate. We checked that you made the check in at 14h51 on the 24th of February. This is quite early so we could have changed you the room immediately. Even if it was later we could have changed you to another room since that day we were not fully-booked. So, please, next time do not hesitate to inform at the reception about any inconvenience you may encounter in the room. Accept our apologies again and next time let us show you how reactive our team is.
