The double rooms bed was so large both me and my partner could starfish the night away without been squashed up, the hotel room was slightly outdated style but was suitable had everything you could need , the windows actually open fully unlike some hotels , the restaurant attached was absolutely amazing and cheap for the quality of food , drink and service we received, the spa facilities were really clean and welcoming however on a busy period I would say it would quickly feel uncomfortably small in the pool / and jacuzzi pool area and I personally felt uncomfortable having to walk through the gym to the pool area in swimwear even with a towel provided would have preferred a separate root. Breakfast came with plenty of choice and was great tasting , overall the stay was amazing just slight update on decor and possibly a seperate root to the pool area would have made the stay absolutely perfect . Would come back time and time again

Excellent value for for money. Staff were friendly and efficient , our room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was rather disorganised as a large party had just left. The buffet needed re-stocking, the tables needed re-setting. All this was done but we needed to wait.

comfortable room, very clean ,staff overloaded at breakfast so little communication on any breakfast choices other than what was laid out. No member drink voucher offered on arrival. Will be staying again as this is not the norm............

Location very good, staff helpful and polite. Room tired, mattresses need replacing and lighting In rooms and bathroom dreadful, so dark that you could not see .to put make up on. Breakfast very good And coffee outstanding

Found staff everywhere very efficient, friendly, helpful and hardworking. Room very clean and comfortable with everything you need for short stay. Restaurant menu could be improved along with quality of food for the prices charged. Breakfast not very well organised, short supply of yoghurts and Actimel drinks, one morning at 8.45 one solitary yoghurt on offer, no Actimel drinks at all. Limited variety of bread other than sliced, have to find someone to ask for eggs of any description other than scrambled which this only option on unmanned buffet. Would stay again but wouldn't use restaurant or pay for breakfast.

On our first night we had problems with the male waiter in you Carter and Fitch restaurant, he was rude, sarcastic and very unhelpful as it was 8.15 and was told no chicken etc left as closed at 9 pm. We left the restaurant and complained to reception. Later we were phoned and met by your duty manager (Daniel) who sorted out our problem efficiently. He also found us on our last morning at breakfast to ask if our stay after the first night had been better. We stay in lots of hotel chains and it's this kind of thing that will make us come back to a mercure hotel not the waiter in the restaurant.

Staff were very friendly which was appreciated. The room was standard. Everything worked fine, it was clean, bed was comfy. Occasionally water temperate changed when showering which was irritating, and there was NO manual control for air conditioning which during a heat wave was NOT ideal.

Room was not the best .sink was cracked.curtains were all cigarette burns.carpet had a few stains on it .power socket was damaged and hanging off the wall.breakfast was decent but we were always having to ask for the beverages to be filled up as always empty.
