We stayed for eight nights at Luxury room. The view of the bay is amazing in the evening when the sun goes down. The room was not big, but cozy and modern with Arabic style touch, well maintained and clean, there is nothing to complain about.The hotel had everything for a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful overall. Service at breakfast simply excellent with a great choice.I would recommend Sofitel Corniche for leisure as well as for a business trip. Special thanks to Rakesh and his "poolside" team for making us feel special and welcome.

« Relaxing stay. »

We wanted to get away from cloudy and chilly Paris for a better weather during my 3 days off. We arrived quite early at the hotel, but we could take some rest at the Club Milesime while waiting for our room ready. Staffs at Club Milesime and the buffet restaurant on the ground floor were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we feel like to get away from chilly Paris, we will consider Sofitel Abu Dhabi for an option.

Everything from arrival to departure was friendly and welcoming. The suite was well appointed and the views awesome. The food and snacks at the various restaurants and cafes suited all tastes. The bars served a variety of drinks and cocktails. everywhere the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Club Millesime was the icing on a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. The staff were friendly and courteous, and couldn't be more helpful. The Club Millesime was wonderful, as was the service and the views. Grill@Chill O, by the pool, served a variety of food and drinks. The Jazz & Fizz bar was nice, and in both the staff were excellent.

I’m a flight attendant and I gave to the laundry my uniform which have been returned destroyed. They didn’t tell me upon delivery and actually they didn’t accept that it was their fault. In fact I received an email in which they said that the spillage of colors might happen through temperature changes, which is ridiculous. The colors don’t change because of the temperature changes, please inform them.

We had been really looking forward to out stay, but this ended once we arrived. On arrival the check in lady tried to up sell up an upgraded room, personally I feel if you have rooms available a free upgrade is a more professional approach and would have started the trip in a positive manner. After checking in we were looking forward to getting some lunch by the pool, however the pool where they served food was completely in the shade and was a wind tunnel, the other pool area which was nice, the staff would not bring any food or beverages to us, which was really disappointing as it was far too cold to sit outside and eat on the other side the whole area was completely shaded and really windy. The room was nice with good views, however it was style over substance there was no where to comfortably get ready, in front of the mirrors in the bedroom there were oversized lampshades hanging completely obscuring the view when getting ready. The club access was good, perhaps a little slow considering there were very few guests. The Jazz bar was actually really nice and in fact a saving grace. Breakfast was mediocre, and again the service was slow considering the number of people eating. All in all very little to recommend and it has tarnished my view on all Sofitel's when previously I had really enjoyed the ones I've stayed in hence booking this one.

« A little disappointed saved by the Grills@Chill’Ostaff »

We felt that the very high standards we experienced last year had slipped a little and this could have been due to an obvious lower occupancy. Our stay was enhanced by the ever attentive staff in the Club lounge and Rakesh and his team Umesh, Sandun and Bishal at Grills@Chill’O made our lunch and pool time enjoyable as did the staff of the excellent Parmigiano restaurant. Our pleasant and comfortable room was well maintained to a high standard. One disappointing experience was our laundry on the last day which was due to be returned by noon still wasn’t ready by the time we checked out at 4pm and we still have not been contacted about the missing items....however when all is said and done we could still highly recommend Sofitel for your stay in Abu Dhabi.

« Superb Short Term Break in an Excellent Hotel »

Although a couple of specific requests that we had made in our Booking were not initially provided these were soon resolved by the Receptionist and the Short Term Break was superb. I had previously stayed in the Hotel over 4 years ago and the reason my wife and I visited on this occasion was due to the quality and service that I had experienced on that occasion. We would certainly recommend this Hotel to other potential visitors to Abu Dhabi.

« Overall, an excellent experience »

Welcoming, very efficient and friendly check-in and check-out by the two ladies involved. In called Hotel Service (?), Concierge and Duty Manager a number of times when I got to my room before any one answered. Don't know why it took so long to be answered. I then had to make a follow-up call as the service I requested took a long time. That was the only disappointing aspect of what was otherwise, flawless and very efficient. The team in the meeting area on P3 were extremely helpful, especially the supervisor.
