« Very comfortable, very clean, great location, value privacy. »

Room was nice, I slept late every day but I was able to get my room cleaned by 3:00 pm each day. Great housekeeping service. Loved the location, close to everything. Front desk service was very professional and outstanding. I’ve stayed here a few times, it is where I look first when I visit.

I stayed for just over a week. This hotel is conveniently located a block away from the AEON mall. It is right next to Shiori station on the Keikyu line. Conveniently close to the Navy base. Breakfast was great for both Western tastes and Japanese dishes. Room was comfortable.

I had a nice stay. As expected, the room was clean and functional. However, the desk countertop and round table showed "wear and tear" and needed finishing touchups. The morning breakfasts were fully satisfying in terms of selection and quantity.

« Good stay, clean rooms... could be updated a little »

Overall stay went well... rooms were always clean, sometimes my room was so hot we had to open the door to the hallway.... Customer service is superior to most of the hotels in the area. My only complaint was that at multiple points during my 45 day stay there were issues with room charges and me having to switch rooms that I believe stemmed from miscommunication from language barrier. BUT it was always resolved quickly and professionally.

« Small room, redundant breakfast »

I was scheduled to stay for nearly two weeks and the room given to me barely allowed room for me to walk from the door to the bed. I often hit my foot on something when I walked. Had colleagues with a larger corner room (same rate) and I asked reception to change my room after they left because I knew it would become available, but they said they were fully booked. Can't you swap rooms between me and the new customer who hasn't arrived yet?? Then, when I informed them that my spouse may be coming, they wanted to charge me 3300 yen more per night or 5200 yen more incl breakfast. What a rip off! I moved out after a week and stayed elsewhere in yokosuka. Breakfast buffet options were the same each and every single day... Wouldn't stay here again.

« I felt like everyone treated me as family. Everyone in the staff have amazing manners and customer values. »

I get really sentimental because I truly miss the care and willingness of Mercure to make me feel like home and immediately assist. Hiroki or Hirowi Naghacka from breakfast staff was so cordial and attentive to me and the group. I took a picture because also he had a nice pin on his jacket.

Check in was a breeze. Nice front desk very helpful. Room was cold at first but got hot through out the night. I even put the AC to the coldest it could go. I asked the front desk why it was hot at night and they told me a something ridiculous.

« Nice hotel »

This room was smaller and older than I expected from walking into the lobby of the hotel. The bed was comfy and room was clean. The staff kept the room clean. Everything I used worked fine including drains, shower, toilet, etc. The restaurant on the 19th floor was welcoming with good food and nice views. The staff in the hotel are kind.

The staff was very happy and easy to speak to and ask questions. They were willing to help me with whatever I needed. The breakfast was outstanding and I would look forward to speaking with the employees there as well.
