« It was a great hotel! »

Staffing were extremely nice. Ms. Johnson who booked my reservation went out of her way to accomodate my and my family’s needs. I cannot say the same for housekeeping though. Our beddings were not replaced in the 7 days that we stayed at the hotel. The breakfast only has two dishes in the buffet that they alternate. The chicken stirfry and the choice of fish( either mackerel or salmon only). The rest of the breakfast buffet did not changed the entire stay.

My stay was excellent. The suite room is the best room I have stayed at in all my travel in Japan. The complimentary cell phone in my room was very useful. From my window I could see Mount Fuji. Breakfast was great and also has a great view of Tokyo Bay. The price was also very reasonable.

It was my second time staying at Mercure Yokosuka. The room I had the first time was very small but, this time I was so happy that my room was larger (Rm. 1616). The complimentary daily breakfast was very satisfying.

« A Lovely Hotel Experience »

I stayed at the Hotel Mercure for almost 2 weeks. The room was was petite in size but very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and temperature. The bar/breakfast room on the 19th floor had a fantastic panoramic view of Yokosuka and the water front. On several clear morning, we were able to see Mount Fuji. The staff was what really made this hotel shine. The service was wonderful. They went out of their way to help us with our requests. Yu Jackson and Joshua at the front desk went way beyond what would be expected of them.

The entire hotel staff was excellent!! Yu Jackson was particularly helpful in resolving my difficult situation— her empathy and her Rnlish are true assets. You are lucky to have her! All other staff were so kind— the room ladies, the 19th floor people and the front desk people.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. They did great in securing my stay. This was the second time I've stayed at the hotel. However the room is so small that you can't have a backed chair to sit at the desk to do work. Also I faced the street and there was some street noise while sleeping; however I was so tired after working 12 hours a day the noise usually didn't bother me too much. My request for a different room was not possible. The breakfast buffet was very well done this time. I will certainly stay at the Mercure again when I return to Japan, if possible.

« It was okay but not extraordinary. »

The room was EXTREMELY small and difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature and the noise from the trains at night were bothersome. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and clean. I appreciate the bottled water left int he oom.

I had a good stay here at this hotel, but I did have one issue. For who knows what reason but I was limited to only being allowed to have one room key despite it being me (the guest) desire to have two.
