The room was well-kept and spacious, all hotel staff were extremely cordial, and it was very conveniently located next to both the naval base and Shioiri station. I will definitely continue to stay here on future trips to Japan.

My 5 night stay at Mercure was fabulous. The room was great and had an excellent water view, the breakfast on the 19th floor was superb with staff always refilling items and a large selection and great coffee options. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and assisted with sending my bag ahead to my hotel in Tokyo and filling out the paperwork. The location is excellent and close to the pedestrian gate for CFAY as well as nearby to tons of shopping and food. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Great breakfast, nice room and lobby, but the bed was too firm for my comfort.

Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return. I was disappointed to find out there was no gym. The room had plenty of space however bed was too firm for my comfort. Great location convenient to public transportation. Beautiful views from the room. Staff were helpful and spoke English which helped to ease my time in Japan.

Noisy rail traffic from 5 o'clock in the morning

Locaton is in the area of US navy. That's ok and of course, there is a beautiful French park with fragrant rose gardens nearby. The train station is just a few walks away,and that is a point. The building is facing to a rail track but the room is not soundproof. Mercure is a beautiful French style hotel but it's almost like a scar. I woke up everyday very early in the morning from the train noises.

Very satisfied.

Everything went very smooth with no problems and customer service was great. I had questions about the area because I was not familiar with it and the Japanese woman at the front desk helped me with maps and explained the surrounding area for me in English so she went above and beyond to help me in my language. The room was cleaned well and the housekeeping staff was great. I needed a little extra time because my flight was later than expected and was able to push my checkout time by an hour which was very helpful to me. All around great experience!

Staff were very pleasant and easy to work with. I did enjoy my room and it was more than adequate for my business trip. Hotel is well located immediately next to the Shioiri Station with plenty of great options for food/drinks in the vicinity. I will definitely return. Oh, and the breakfast was great!
