In the past the dining room was open and we could have coffee and something to eat coming off the plane at 11.45pm. This was not the case and when I asked why the dining was closed told gruffly not enough tourists. No wonder if they are treated like this and not given a civil answer.

What a relief to walk off a flight and right into our hotel. The rooms was quiet and the black out shades allowed us to get a good nights sleep. The tandoori chicken pizza that we ordered from room service was terrific too.

The $100.00 hold on your credit card is a standard procedure for all 4 to 5 star hotels. This hold is in place for any Incidentals and Damages to the room (in the event there are damages). We do not hold this hold (once released from our end) at the hotel, this is held by your bank as per their procedures. There is an alternative option where instead of using your card for the $100.00 security bond, you are able to Pay $100.00 in Cash (Refundable upon departure). In this case, we will need to Lock/Remove the Mini-Bar and Movies along with what is called a No Post on your room. – This means you will be unable to charge anything back to your room (E.g. restaurant meals or drinks etc) We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Everything was fine, but the breakfast was not. At 0630 (this is an airport hotel), the dining room was about 20% full. There did not seem to be any management staff and the sleepy waiters took far too long to produce a very poor cup of coffee. Some of the “hot” dishes (bacon, tomatoes, sausages) were cold. Never again!

after a long plane journey it was nice to just walk in from the airport, dump our bags, have a drink and a bite to eat, slept like a baby (was sooo quiet there ...who knew ?) and off the next day without a hitch.... I love it

We pulled up to unload our bags in front of the Novotel and were instantly asked to move on. We had my sister with us who was taking the vehicle straight away, as soon as we unloaded. He was extremely rude and we were taken aback. We have an almost new vehicle, nothing scruffy. Not a good welcome and not the norm for Novotel!

It was fine however Im still waiting on my hold to come off my credit card which is a bit of a pain.

I have had look and can see that upon your departure the remaining amount of the Hold on your credit card was released and this should be reflecting in your account 3-5 business days after it is released and sometimes can take 7-10 business days after it is released. This is due to your banks procedures in relation to Holds on credit card and releasing those fund back to them. Once the hold has been complete/released on our end we have no control over how long it takes to reflect back into your account. Easily settled in knowing that early morning wakeup call was taken care of, morning newspaper to be delivered, gourmet buffet breakfast would await us at 6.30 pm.
