It's hard to get closer to the airport! Just across a short walkway! Soundproof so no aircraft noise. Would like to see cheaper breakfast options if you don't want a huge one, but that's my only niggle. Beds very comfortable, slept well!

Please look to see who checked me in. The gent was the night auditor. Great approach and attitude. Tried in a very appropriate manner to upsell me, was conversant and quite charming. Super room, couldn’t have asked for more. I travel extensively, 24 nights of 30 in the last month on the road, it’s all about the people, the experience and energy you get when your weary and looking for a lift. Thx for the experience. Usually I am very satisfied with my experience at Novotel Auckland but on this occasion I was not. I had an original stay booked on night of 6 December by my client the Wise Group. I subsequently booked for two more nights 4 & 5 for another client. Twice I called to ask for the two stays to be connected so I did not have to move rooms. On both occasions I was told it had been sorted. Then on the 5th I was asked by the cleaners when I was checking out. I went down to reception to get the matter actually resolved. This was ok in that the stays were connected and I was given a new key. But then when I came to check out I found that the charge back to the Wise Group has not been recorded. The recepti9nist could not find the reference. The matter was only resolved because my colleague from Wise who had made the booking happened to be in the reception area. This seems to me to be a systemic issue that needs resolving. I’m su it can’t be that unusual. Regards. Mike P.

5 hours delay in Melbourne meant getting in at Auckland at 11pm. Weary and keen to get to bed, we checked into a suite at the Novotel Airport Hotel. Friendly, courteous staff, well-appointed suite, comfortable bed, silent (couldn't hear any jets arriving or leaving), good breakfast selection. Left the following morning refreshed and ready for our domestic flight.

We stayed in this hotel twice. It is good that the room is clean and quiet. But one thing we feel uncomfortable is , when we moved in, we were tired and thirsty, but did not find any free-offered water in the room as normally provided in high rank hotels. We do know whether this complementary service was cancelled or your service people did not care about it.

Every part of the service has dropped off, from reception, long wait, dinner queue, long wait, then came back an hour after my reservation only to wait again. Dinner was good but hopelessly overpriced. Ran conference in Board room 1, no pens, pads, connecting was a problem... lunch was just okay. Parking tickets were not handed out. Plan not to use in future.

No complaints about the room. Restaurant service was diabolical. Having been told 10 minute wait for a table I waited 45. Having been seated I waited another 20 for a menu ( despite asking twice )and then another 20 to place an order because the waiter walked away. I observed many people queuing for a table while around me I counted at least 7 tables / 28 seats unoccupied but set for service.
