« Location is about the only thing going for it »

Only stayed here for an early flight. Very little sleep as the rooms are stuffy. Check in was a shambles and no where to get a drink or dinner as everything was full. Crap pillows.We were travelling with a number of family members and had a total of 6 rooms. No one got much sleep!It was very nice just been able to walk across to the airport at the last minute though. Breakfast at the Air NZ lounge better than the hotel though!

Excellent Hotel. Everything that you could have asked for. I asked for a specific room which was what we got. Very clean and handy to the International Airport. Staff very polite and check in a breeze. Would stay there again.

The front counter service was brilliant. While in the Resturant the platter was amazing, however the service could improve. We had to continually ask for drinks. Staff were hanging around the bar talking with each other and not serving customers. The chicken that we ordered for room service was not what it advertised (8 pieces) and some of it was raw (blood still coming from the chicken and cold)

Steven Michael g. Context I am a silver member of your LeClub Accor Hotel group. Membership 30…6575-1. I booked on 4th July 2018 via your AccorHotels online booking a one-night accommodation stay at the Novotel Auckland Airport for the 6th October 2018. The intent was to make our return to Australia simple. The purpose of our trip was our getting married and honeymooning across New Zealand. Our stay at the Novotel was to be the last night of our honeymoon, a nice treat. Our Accor experience in Auckland Airport On our arrival we were met by Francesco who was efficient and very cordial in managing our check in experience. We were allocated room 0809. We were please to receive a complimentary beverage coupon for two due to being an Accor member. After depositing our luggage, we returned to the down stairs bar to enjoy our free drinks. I then purchased a second beer with cash. We then left to walk around the airport and decided to get some more beer and fries at the Novotal. On our return at 4:30 pm I was encouraged to open a bar tab, which I did and stated that I was wanted to pay by cash. I was informed that this was no problem. On finishing our drinks, I paid our tab of $34.00 NZ with cash at the bar. (I don’t have this receipt). We then went to our room and prepared for an early self-service check out. We did not purchase, order or consume any further Novotel products or services, specifically nothing from our room mini bar. We left the hotel around 7:30 am on the Sunday 7th to catch our flight and deposited our room key in the quick check out box. My post stay issues On returning to Australia I now find an email copy of my Accor Account which includes the accommodation charge. But also, I find an additional charge for the mini bar to the value of $22.44NZ. On checking my Mastercard account linked to my Accor membership, I now find a 2nd mini bar charge withdrawn from my Mastercard account. (this second charge is not even listed on my account invoice issued by Novotel. I have made two phone calls plus two emails to get these charge error rectified with no avail nor I have received any response given to myself from Novotel Auckland. However I will mention that Lucus was investigating, but to date I have had no communication return/ reply My future concerns My concerns are that I now have a loss of trust in the Novotel experience. I cannot trust your: 1. fast check out system for fear of being charged after my departure; 2. Your staff to respond to my charge inquires requests; 3. That the mini bar reflects an accurate inventory status prior to my arrival; 4. That my future account charges will be simple and an accurate reflection of my purchases. 5. Your billing will be accurate; 6. That my concerns will be resolved. What I can trust and what I will do is: • stay again at Accor, but will not use your fast check out system; • I will represent myself in declaring what I have or have not consumed; • Not pay cash for my drinks at Novotel; • Ask my bank to deny any future charges deemed accountable by Novotel but not authorised by myself; • call a third-party Novotel Staff member to verify the contents of my mini bar prior to my accepting the room. My request please I find myself privileged to incur additional out of pocket ex $55.08 NZ ($51.99AUD) for product/services I did not use or consume. I will accept and incur the cost of these unauthorised cost charges based on the fact I cannot produce any supporting evidence to refute them. I offer only my word that I or my new wife did not consume anything from our mini bar and that we paid for our food and drinks with cash. (The only docket I have is an unsigned bar tab docket: see attached) I find the process of chasing Novotel up annoying and inconvenient for myself. I did not enjoy having to spend my time chasing up this issue of wrongful charges by Novotel My request is simply, use my feedback to check your systems for improvement. We started with a room that had a few “house keeping” issues but this was in a professional and satisfactory way from, the managent of the night. The hotel is looking “tired’ due to outdated equipment such as the alarm clock still having the old version iPhone connection.

Your staff has no interest in the hotel quest from the check in staff to the breakfast staff. Unless you are an All Black or a well known person there is no inter action wit quest at all. My name has been the same for the last 64 years but your maître looked under T & not C even after giving him the room number and then told me I was not quest in the hotel
