« A little stay in paradise »

The moment we arrived we relaxed! It's our 2nd stay here & we have already booked for another 2 stays! No one could be kinder, more profession or helpful than the staff here. The restaurant, spa, rooms are all fabulous & that is why we will be returning regularly. Melissa is charming in reception. Nicholas & the restaurant team look after us extremely well & the sunsets are free! Going home is a struggle because we are so happy at the hotel!

Room booked two months in advance in order to enjoy the hotel and restaurant. Three days before arrival the hotel sends an email about restaurant reservations that I didn’t answer because it was on spam. Conclusion, restaurant fully booked with non hotel guests. It is a enormous disrespect to hotel guests and returning guest who was staying in the hotel and eating in the restaurant every day outside your peak holiday season. 20 years traveling the world and it was the worst experience so far.

We have stayed for 3 nights.We have enjoyed a dinner at the GAYA Restaurant and a dinner at the wonderfull brasserie. (all the family had a great time in the brasserie , even our little girl)The SPA is absolutely incredible : warm water , outdoor jaccuzzi in front of the sea. We have tried shower with crushed ice after a pleasant Hamman ... very surprisingVery nice place and very nice time.We recommand !

Hotel room and location was excellent,concierge great job with collection and showing us round the hotel. Breakfast was superb with friendly and welcoming staff.Leisure facilities of the spa were excellent.House Keeping again superb and no issues on the ball as teh saying goesBad bits Bar and restaurant (lunchtime and evening) is a big problem, stopping hotel residents from using the terrace as apparently having private parties has the top priority, Dinner no English translation and lack of continuity when the breakfast menu has,lack of interest from staff unwelcoming and very serious issues, I had to deal with this with hotel manager as unacceptable and hence the score I have given has let down the rest of the departments of high quality

Hotel concierge collected and showed us round the hotel with an excellent start,the hotel room was modern and clean and with a view of the ocean which was perfect,breakfast in the morning was excellent with staff attentive and a smile. The bad bit is the bar and restaurant in the afternoon and evening,to which there was no consistency with drinks,sometimes short glasses and other times large glasses,there was private functions and twice banned from the terrace and after taking my money in the first place when booked this was so acceptable as we are guests along with other guests.I had words with concierge and hotel manager on this,restaurant staff at lunch and evening are not welcoming.No name badges on staff and the faboulous dinner which was on the French menu,there is no English translation which is again inconsistent with the breakfast menu in English so doesn’t make sense at all.

No one could have been more helpful than your staff. The room was beautiful with spectacular sea views. Everywhere was clean & bright & we were so thrilled we booked a weekend in December & a longer stay for St Valentine's in 2019. We intend to stay here regularly to recharge our batteries & have truly found a special place.

We were delighted by the whole experience, the staff, the service, the hotel and the spa. The only slight negative was the size of the room which did feel a little cramped with not much hanging/storage space. Although we spent most of our time in the Spa. The glorious weather helped!

Booked for a 2 night stay over and lovely hotel - staff are brilliant and location overlooking the sea. Spa is really special and spotless and the whole hotel seems to generate a very nice feeling from initial driving to it and parking – to relaxing on the sea facing terrace. Evening meal very nice and restaurant was perfect for high quality meal in lovely surroundings. Breakfast was excellent though if truth was on the expensive side – but great choice.

We had a front line room giving us gorgeous views and sunsets. The spa was luxurious and never felt over full. The breakfast was exceptional and the dinner a lovely experience though we would have liked the option of something less fancy and expensive but still hot for those days when we didn't want to have 'fine dining'

As a solo traveler I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful and can only report back on a very positive experience. I was fortunate enough to be upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony which was perfect for my needs of being able to chill out. The facilities were first class. I also spent a morning using the facilities at the sister Ibis hotel directly opposite. Again the staff were extremely helpful and the facilities very good. I hope to return, if possible next year and have already recommended the hotel to my friends and family.

The stay was amazing and largely due to exceptionally attentive and caring staff of this hotel. From day one we were surrounded by attention in every detail - starting with welcoming and ever helping staff at the reception, continued by immaculate room service and finally - at the restaurant and lounge bar. Special thanks to the lady at the reception who welcomed us on our first day of stay (27.08) and accomodated our requests. Deserts and wine selection at Gaya restaurant were exceptional - so compliments to the chef and involved personnel. This was an excellent service exceeding any expectations especially by modern standards. I wish management of this hotel could share their concept with other hotels to help them achieve similar high standard of servicing the clients.

It was lovely, the rooms were perfect for all four of us staying. The spa and outside beach area was very relaxing. The one thing that could be improved is the availability of food and drinks. The options are small on the evening bar menu and doesn’t change, so when staying 5 nights it gets a little repetitive. It would be lovely to sit at the beach area and be able to order drinks to your loungers to completely help with the relaxation.

I booked two rooms for 3 nights at your hotel for a short stay with my wife and 3 year old daughter as well as my parents. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and your team as they were certainly in excess of the 4 stars that you are currently rated at. The location was also quite good although, as it turned out, we would have liked to be nearer to a greater number and diversity of alternative food offerings. In terms of your team, I felt that they were all incredibly helpful and polite with even all of your housekeeping team saying hello if they saw you and always having a smile. I've stayed in 5 star hotels around the world (Uk, UAE, Maldives, Greece, Oman, Mauritius, Thailand, Bali, Australia, etc) and this is not always true! The hotel was lovely, and in spite of the rooms perhaps being a little small, they very well equipped and decorated and really comfortable. It would I think be useful for there to be a swimming pool on site rather than just a spa pool as we didn't feel that we could take our 3 year old daughter in their as she would create too much disturbance. Although we were told about the pool across the road at the other hotel, it's not all that practical to be taking our daughter across the road with everything we would need and certainly not the kind of experience that you would want in a 4 or 5 star hotel. However, we knew there wasn't a pool before we arrived and intended on spending most of our time at the beach anyway. Finally the food. This is where our overall very positive experience of the hotel was severely let down. The incredibly limited menu of the bistro was very disappointing. The fact that we could not book into the main restaurant whilst we were there was also very annoying especially as we could clearly see that night after night it was only half full. We were told on checking out that we should've received a call to ask us if we wanted to make a reservation, but we did not receive a call. Added to this the fact that there was a very limited local food offering within walking distance of the hotel made it even more disappointing. The other disappointment came with the limited room service hours of service, which is the first time that I have experienced it in a hotel with 4 stars. This was especially difficult as our daughter needed to have her dinner at around 6pm each night as she wet to bed at 7pm. The first night wasn;t a problem as we were out exploring and managed to get her something, the problem came on the second night when I was told (upon calling room service) that the kitchen wasn;t operating and that they couldn't even serve us a bowl of pasta. I managed to persuade the kind gentleman on the other end of the phone to talk to chef as soon as he arrived and we were able to get a bowl of pasta for my daughter. Our last night though was an incredibly frustrating experience and made me incredibly angry. As we had been out all day we decided to go straight to the restaurant (it was 6pm) to get our daughter a bowl of pasta, assuming that as we got it the previous evening that it would be no problem this time. We spoke to the young lady on the bar and although doubtful she went and spoke to the chef. She came back and told me that the kitchen couldn't take our order. I spoke to one of her more senior colleagues and explained to him that there had been no problem the night before so he went to ask again. This time he said the chef refused to serve as he had a large party coming to dinner. This annoyed me greatly and I pointed out to him that I was a guest at your hotel, paying for two rooms and asked to speak to the manager as i wasn't going to let my daughter go hungry. At this point he said he would try again, and after a few minutes came back and said he'd managed to persuade the chef to serve us, but that this would be the last time and it would not happen again. This last comment, which the gentleman I spoke to was clearly uncomfortable telling me, made me incredibly angry. However, I thanked him and sat down with my family for about 3 minutes before the pasta came (obviously a very disruptive task for the kitchen), although it was under quite severely undercooked. We were then given the bill for this and we left. That evening I requested a meeting with the GM the following morning when we checked out. However, the GM wasn't available and I spoke to your front of house manager instead (Emmanuel maybe) who was very helpful and apologetic and as an apology removed the cost of the pasta as well as some drinks at a total cost of 30-40 euros. Whilst I appreciated the gesture I made it very cleat that the chef should be reprimanded and reminded that he's there to service the hotel guests. All-in-all I would say that whilst you have a nice hotel and the staff are very good, it isn't a hotel for young families. I would like a repsonse from you regarding the steps you have taken with regards to the incident with the chef. This has unfortunately given me an overall impression of accor group hotels that would mean it is very unlikely that I would consciously choose to stay with you again. Kind regards, Andrew R. - an…

« Hotel did not live up to its location. »

The hotel is situated in a very attractive location but it was a big disappointment. The rooms are very small and the building is a mass of half floors which made it extremely difficult for my wife to move around. In fact it would be impossibly for a wheelchair user. Although there were plenty of staff they were in total disarray and the service was quite infuriating. They rang me several times before arrival to ask what time I would like my room and would I like to book a table for dinner and then did not deliver on either item. The restaurant booking was an on off fiasco with lots of people apologising but no one sorting the problem. In the end we were forced to survive on tapas sat on a rather cold and windy terrace having been forced to move from our chosen position by some bumptious jobsworth. We will not return.
