Was here given the budget we have for travel and I think that Ibis Novena is worth the price we paid. However, in comparison to another Ibis hotel I've been to (Dragon City, South Korea), the breakfast buffet was less than satisfactory as the food was just repeated and everything tasted the same (very bland) and one day, the coffee machines were all broken and there wasn't water available. All the unclean plates were dumped on one of the guest dining tables. No plates were left, as well as cups and glasses.

Overall experience was good, however the restaurant staff needs supervision. They were unable to manage during breakfast time. They start winding up 30 minutes before closing time and place “Reserved” cards on table so that those tables remain clean. Also the clearance of table while one is eating does not take place unless you call for the waiter two/three times. Over all the staff at restaurant is not doing their task happily.....

Overall, services are on satisfied mode only. The reasons are because, given the pricing, room condition are small and basic amenities like mineral water are not given and it causes inconvenience caused guests are required to either collect water from the coffee house or purchase. Also food at coffee house are average in terms of taste.

A reasonably priced and well maintained hotel with complimentary parking. Room and lobby area are relatively small but acceptable since it's located in neighbourhood estate and generally size is quite standard among many such newer hotels in Singapore. I like the free shuttle at every half hour to Novena MRT station, which is only few stops away from Orchard. Can take taxi or Grab/Uber ride easily, if preferred. Across the main Balestier Road is a shopping mall with a popular supermarket chain and pharmacy as well as a food court. Very convenient.

I booked 2 rooms for 3 adults and 2 children, we arrived after 2 pm and the check in went so smoothly. I requested connecting rooms. The reception guy was very kind and upgraded our room to a family room and premier room. The location is very close to Mount E Novena Hospital which I had to go to and close to Novena MRT Station too. There was a free shuttle also.

We were told that a baby cot would be set up in our room by the front office. And when we were getting our keys, we confirmed that there's a cot in the room. But it wasn't there when we got to the room. So we called the front office, who told us that there's only one cot in the entire hotel and they need to check if it's available. A while later, they called back and told us that the cot is unstable and cannot be used. So my friend had to share the single bed with her baby, as well as with pillows to make sure the baby doesn't fall off the bed. It was not comfortable.
