was disappointed at first when they have given me a room for disabled. ive only booked for a night and ive even checked in too late and check out so early the nxt day, i agree at first to stay in one of the disabled guest room. However, i am not comfortable staying inside the room for some reasons that i cannot explain. iv requested from the duty manager win if possible to give me another room which iv paid for. I didnt feel any concern at first when i requested to change the room. I felt that the duty manager was irritated managing my request. Fortunately, he was able to help me find a vacang standard room after 1 hour.

For the same price, I got a much better class, roomier hotel in Malaysia (had stayed at One World Hotel, ! Utama) I guess that's what you get in Spore. It was a basic room, beds were comfortable, but space in room was tight. Second round, we were surprised with an Upgrade which I thought was still the small size room, but was given a plate of fruit ( so appreciated and loved that) and free breakfasts (which we also loved and appreciated), free mini-bar ( which we didn't care too much about) Handyphone was also very much appreciated. The front desk personnel, Wan, was a smiling, friendly, courteous most pleasant staff handling my check-in and he made us feel welcomed and appreciated. So these extra surprises will have me singing your praises and recommending this hotel. Thank you.

It was nice experience, I have stayed at Ibis hotels in India and it helped me decide in Ibis Novena. Vegetarian food options were part of breakfast and Indian food ( Naan & DAl ) was a pleasant surprise.

For the first day I felt good as the receptionist was very helpful. The day I checked out was not that great as another receptionst when she passed me a complementary parking tickets didn’t worked. I went back to her and she argued with me that it works, but I said no and she showed me the frustration face. In which when she checked the ticket then she realise it doesn’t work.

« Bolster but no wake up call »

The good thing is the hotel provide you with bolster! It's amazing and very comfortable. The bad thing is your staff didn't wake me even though I already ask for a wake up call at 6.30 AM. Due to that, I'm very late to fulfill my agenda!!

The positive thing about this hotel is they have bolster! It's amazing. The negative thing is they forgot to wake me up at 6.30 AM even though I already requested before. I'm running late due to this. The hotel location is also quite far from MRT station

« Good for a 3 night stay »

The hotel is very well located, close to Novena MRT. The staff is quick to help with any issue. We had booked a family room for 3 people, but when we got there ee realised the room was very noisy because of some huge fans outside the window. The reception staff helped us change our room to a more quiet one. However, we didnt like that the rooms were extremely cold. When we told reception to change the temperature to a normal 25 degrees, the rooms became very damp and humid. So overall there was no comfortable temperature inside the room, it was either too cold or too humid. Also the breakfast buffet was a bit poor considering the price. There was no cheese or ham and there were very little "western" foods.

What should i be more dissatisfied with the space in the room where one could barely move, the shower area that only exists to hurt your elbows, just about options for veg travellers or the rude staff who would deny you infused water from the restaurant. Some things one can ignore but not so many of them . I am going to seriously discourage people for staying at Ibis Novena.

The room is nice and clean. A bit far from the MRT but walkable for young people. The shuttle bus should have longer hour. Breakfast is very crowded.
