Dear Neeraj Kumar s., Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the ibis Singapore Novena. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. if I may gently share, unfortunately part of the 3 star international classification is that we don't have room service or porters. Also no pool or gym. While sometimes these services are provided by various independent hotels (even some chain hotels) its not a common service. In Singapore I am not aware of any 3 star Hotels that provide this service. This is in part how we keep our costs down vs 4 star hotels. My apology for the inconvenience this caused. With reference to the breakfast, I've recently arrived as the new General Manager. My first priority has been to improve our breakfast. Effective next week we will have additional Indian items, also more rotation which will make breakfast more enjoyable. I trust this will benefit our valued guests moving forward. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely, David Lane General Manager

This hotel is located in good location because nearby got food courts (kopitiam); bus stop; shopping mall (velocity and united square etc) and The Tan Tock Seng Hospital etc. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to or from the Novena MRT station.

Thanks to my status in the loyalty program I enjoyed benefits (upgrade, basket fruits ...) but I requested a quiet room precising far away from elevators. I was given the room in front of the elevators ! Next time, you should read the guest request.

The stay was comfortable and the quality of services was also nice. However, I find the behaviour of people at Reception to be unfriendly. The interaction which I had with one of the staff named Dickson during checking in the hotel was really discomforting. He could have been more friendly in his deliberations rather than being outlandish. I expected that people who come to Singapore from other countries for tourism must be treated and greeted well.

the hotel is quite old. there is no complimentary water in the room. there's small fying insects inside the toilet. the redeeming factor are the staff...specially those driving the shuttle.
