The room is nice and clean. A bit far from the MRT but walkable for young people. The shuttle bus should have longer hour. Breakfast is very crowded.

« A very enjoyable stay »

The check-in was fast and the staff were efficient & courteous. The room is clean and the cleaning lady was so cheerful. The hotel shuttle van was a bonus. We needed to get a bday cake and the driver was very friendly & helpful and reassured us that we'll get a cake at Novena mall. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. My husband realized he lost his autopass card after checking-out. We were panicky but the reception staff called the cleaner lady to check with her. The cleaner has not cleaned our room yet. The reception staff was very helpful & gave us the room card and we finally found the auto pass on the floor of the reader machine. Overall we had 2 nights of blissful sleep. Enjoyed good food at nearby eateries and a walking distance mall for shopping. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

We are sorry that it seems there is a mismatch of your expectations on the room size and services provided in the hotel. Please allow me to explain in more detail on the room size, all our rooms are of the same size and in your feedback, we had failed to communicate well when the reservation was made. Being an economy hotel the concept is that there are no frills that you would find in some of the full services hotels, however being in an International chain, we do provide breakfast from 4am to 12pm, with an elaborate buffet from 6am to 10am. Basic amenities such as shampoo and body wash are provided in the room. We do offer other brands within Accorhotels in Singapore that offer 24 hours room service, fully stocked mini bar and elaborate amenities which may suit your needs better for future stay. « Meets the basic necessities of a traveller in a cozy place »

I had a great time since the hotel is near restaurants and is accessible to public transportation. The staff are corteous as well. My only concern is the need to ask for a room slipper and the absence of lotions, small packs of dental kits which I expect in hotels. Overall though, I had a good experience with your hotel.

« Budget Hotel but could have been better »

To begin with there was a hassle with check-in. My booking voucher said it was a 1 X Standard Room . there is no mention of whether it is a Queen size or Twin bed?.I would not blame Ibis for this but everyone in the loop had a blind eye on this...! It makes no Logical sense to give a couple a twin Bed,when asked for upgrade ,it wasn't provided even if i was willing to pay the extra money.I had requested them to offer an upgrade when it was available,even that didn't happen. and there were many tiny tiny things that left a bad impression about the Hotel.after a day or two i lost hope in requesting/asking the staff for any help. I am infact writing this e-mail to let you guys know what i experienced . In fact i may never opt for ibis Singapore Novena again or may think twice before choosing any Ibis group hotels in future. 1) The Toiletries/dental kit was not refilled daily. 2) Drinking water was not provided in the rooms(found this awkward,first time experience in any hotel) 3) The only standout attraction was a whistling tap in the bathroom sink, turn it on and annoying whistle (first time experience) 4) Disposable Slippers (Not sure if you guys provide these) This is one of the ordeal/bad experience i had which is not tolerable at any cost on the second morning we headed out for breakfast at 9:20 AM or so,the restaurant was so crowded and we waited for close to 40 minutes till buffet counters were closed at 10:00 AM sharp and managed to get nothing and wasted 40 minutes of our morning .after this complained about the same to the front desk and nothing was done about this.which left me furious. So my final inference on the whole is : " I was treated as a Second Class ,I don't know why.?It may be because of my Race or color or ethnicity, not sure ".

Was experiencing stuck in the lift for minute. I pressed the ring button twice but none of the technician on duty reply or trying to talk to me. Luckily the door lift finally opened and I straight away walked off.
