Room good. Staff good. Shuttle bus hopeless. I arrived at the MTR Novena & waited 40 mins for a taxi. 22:00--22:40 . It was raining hard. When I reached the hotel the shuttle bus was sitting there unused

« Great, quick stay. »

First time staying at Ibis Novena, unfortunately literally an overnight stay on business. Checked in late, checked out morning, just needed a comfortable bed and that exactly what I got. Reception staff helpful on arrival/departure, didn't see any others. Room clean, tidy and the usual standard one expects from Ibis. Didn't get to experience the facilities and even had to miss out on breakfast 'coz I was unexpected required to fast for a medical check up later in the morning. The "Handy" smartphone was a first time seeing in Ibis and an unexpected offering. I didn't think I'd have much use for it until I needed to make an unexpected Intl call to Australia which saved me using my roaming service - thanks Ibis. Only comment to make would be the wish to be able to control the room air conditioning which was working a bit too efficiently at 23ºC. In the end I just had to turn it off until morning. Would look forward to staying again.

I booked 3 rooms for a family trip. We had 8 people traveling. The family rooms were very good and comfortable. I was very disappointed with the receptionist upon checking in. His name was Dicson. There was no greeting when I greeted him. He was very abrupt and condescending when I asked him for some information. I Didn't feel any warmth being an Accor member. This has left a bad taste after traveling and staying at many other accor hotels around the world.

It is always a joy to stay at Ibis Novena. I was booked by travel agent in a handicapped room but fortunately, the receptionist moved me to a standard room. also, the handy phone was very useful. it is great that Ibis offers this kind of service to its clients for their convenience. Great Job! room was clean, only the bathroom has no bidet.

Had a 3-part stays at Ibis Novena over 3 weeks recently. Had a wonderful time! The staff made all the difference, from Dickson to Win at reception, the great staff at the cafe as well as the shuttle drivers. Loved Room 1005. It was spacious and comfortable. Loved the Accor Plus corner at the Cafe. This was very thoughtful & made it special for members.

« It was comfortable and value-for-money. »

Parking and room are good. All the essentials are there, the room is clean and the smartphone is useful. Only 1 thing we wish to raise - we checked in online but the front desk staff said it's irrelevant and we needed to check in again. Looks like ibis Novena is not utilising the online check-in facility.

Lobby was too messy with groups which some guests didnt know how to use key card. Lift was stucked and kept traffic and so noisy and some cut the queqe while waiting for the lift.

I sent an email a day before to inform about my early arrival at around 6am. And the reply from reservations was pretty generic and non committal. the message did not help me at all. Id prefer that the reservations replied to indicate that the hotel is full the night before and therefore unlikely to have a room ready for my arrival at 6am. Moreover upon arrival I was informed that the housekeeping only starts work at 8am. So there is no way for me to get the room even though there are early check outs. I prefer the hotel to be practical and inform the real situation instead of replying a generic run of the mill non-committal response. However, the hotel management probably noticed my predicament as I had to wait at the restaurant and freshen up in the lobby toilet to start my days work. So when I actually came back to checked in, in the afternoon, I was upgraded with breakfast and additional amenities. Its nice and at least they try to immediately do a recovery. The front office staff that met me at my arrival in the early morning is polite and kind. She tried to explain the situation very carefully to me. thanks
