If you have any business in Nova Iguaçu, this is the place to stay. Spacious rooms, tasty breakfast, and a very polite and attentive staff makes this hotel an amazing option. If you happen to be traveling by bus into the city, it is located a five minute walk away from the bus terminal. Very convenient. I could not access the game room. I was short on time, so did not go to the reception desk to ask about it, but the door was locked and there was not even a sign stating you were supposed to call someone to open the door. Regarding the pool, I had a good time swimming in it, but I did notice that the occasional pigeon would quickly bathe in the pool and leave. Most of those carry diseases, so you might want to avoid the pool if you are worried about that.

At dinner, half of options of menu was missing. At the morning, to be specific 9 o'clock, no more cakes or cheese breads. I ate some cereal and yogurt to not get hungry. I complain at desk and they give breakfast payment back. This is not the expected experience at Mercure hotels.

The team was kind as always, but the hotell cleanliness was really really poor. Room and corridors that didn't see a broom for weeks, curtains and bed skirt BLACK with dust. more than time to replace them

The hotel and room was ok but other activities such as perfume and other meetings was terrible. At times you couldn't get to elevator and when your trying to have a relaxing evening when there's hundred's of people in lobby. The elevator takes forever and sometimes only one in use. A few times the café and bar is closed with no obvious reasoning. Mecure is suppose to accommodate guests but seem too involved with other activities.

Finally two new treadmills and they're Life Fitness ones. This is awsome for business travelers always on the run. Last time I stayed at this hotel there were only two old ones. Great Improvement! The rest is still great, accommodations, staff, room service (restaurant). Very nice stay.

You have just TWO elevatore for guests. During my whole stay of four days, one out of the two elevators has been ALWAYS OUT OF ORDER. Your breakfast is far TOO expensiv.

It was a good experience, though I booked only one stay and we have made a late check in. The accommodation was comfortable and everything was working fine. I had a little problem with my wife's dinner with something that wasn't supposed to be there, but it was solved. I had an expectation of using the pool and the jacuzzi after breakfast as I confimed by phone, but I was told that it's functioning was only after 1 pm, right after my check out.
