Nice room. Breakfast a bit chaotic - tables were available but full of dirty cutlery which staff didn't seem to have time/be able to clear away. Choices in previous entertainment system much better.

The stay was fine, the reception and bar staff were good. The room was comfortable. The only slight downside was at breakfast. I needed to have a quick breakfast and get away again. There was nowhere to get a tea or coffee and to have a tea or coffee relies on the staff passing around with jugs offering it to you. I came down early and there were only three people at breakfast, but no staff to be seen. When they did come and offer it to me it was just as I was getting ready to go - too late. It is a minor point, but its not really acceptable in a hotel of such calibre (and expense) to have breakfast without being able to have a tea or coffee.

« Difficult week, but some staff stood tall »

Worst stay at the hotel in over 2 years of staying there Fire alarms went off one night twice and I had little sleep as a result. Two out of three of the lifts broke down at one point. I got shell in my omelet, my room wasn’t cleaned at all one day. They didn’t change the duvet even after it was pointed out to them. Surly member of staff, replenishing the fridge, rude and unfriendly. 300 in a tour group took over the hotel, were noisey, inconsiderate and selfish. Room changed to a lower floor after being allocated a higher floor, with no explanation. But inspire of all of that, Gregory Marchand and in particular these team members stood and rescued the score to what it was otherwise it would have been a lot worse. Juan the duty manager, spent time listening and even invited out to watch the football, I couldn’t go due to work. But above and beyond re service. Claudia in the kitchen, best breakfast chef by a country mile, Luis waiter in the restaurant, it always runs better when he is there. The lovely Ashley and Raja, Robert, Makoto go out of their way to be friendly, helpful. They all combined to save the trip from disaster.

Room was clean and nice; smaller than normal? Lifts were an absolute pain, the building work meaning you couldn’t walk betweeen G level and 1, were frustrating. Breakfast service- loads of tables hadn’t been cleaned in a timely manner- there were lots of people looking for places to sit...

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. Unfortunately during your stay we had one lift which was out of order and that certainly increased the normal waiting time. Although the main staircase was under construction we also have another staircase that can be used instead of using the lifts. Judging by your feedback it seems that you were unaware. I am truly sorry this was not pointed out to you, and I will most certainly discuss this matter with all those involved. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. « Clean room, comfy bed, great location »

The hotel was in an ideal location for Eurostar terminal. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. I received an email after I had booked to say a late check out was part of the deal but staff in the hotel could not confirm this. They also took a sum of 1800 Euros from my card (non transaction to secure card details) which seemed excessive and was later cancelled when we questioned it.

The only negative experience was about the lack of confirmation of booking taking place in e-mail. I did not get any confirmation on my booking till I call the reception personally. Although the lady at the desk found my e-mail at first but she wasn't able to answer for my question on 'Why I did not get any confirmation from the hotel?'. So would you please take more care of attention for answering the incoming e-mails? Thanks in advance.

Our third visit to this hotel - very convenient if you are using Eurostar! Hotel rooms are very modern and comfortable. Our suite had a lot of space, a bath and separate shower together with two separate toilets. Despite turning the air-con to warm, the room was unfortunately quite cool. since we were only staying one night, we did not bother reporting this to the hotel staff. Service in the hotel bar is excellent but the prices for drinks are quite high! Used the hotels 'online check-in' which advertised no need to queue etc - the reality is somewhat different. We still had to queue and we still had provide passport details etc despite having done this during the online check-in. Happy to use this hotel again.

Well located in Brussels Midi Station, the Pullman is a great and very high quality hotel. The restaurant food is excellent, but limited. The bar food is also great. Staff are superb and friendly. Its super convenient for the metro (without going out of the station). Highly recommended.

« Reasonable value for money »

The service level is on expected from regular Pullman, however a bit lower versus experience in Sochi and Baku. Location is fine, 10-15 minutes walk to main sights. Surrounding are not inspiring: dirty, overcrowded and you don't feel enough secured.
