« very good, but needs work »

Mostly very positive, rooms excellent. Air conditioning failed, was immediately given a new room upgrade. breakfast on Monday was exceptional, Tuesday was also excellent. On Wednesday, less food was available, but the breakfast sausage was much lower quality and hardly edible. On Thursday, food was cold and most everything was very picked over. Rather than a full tray, only 2 broken and under/over cooked. Glasses were dirty, etc.

« The best location »

The hotel can be connected directly from Brussels Midi/Zuid station. It was very convenient for short trip to Bruges or Antwerp. The room was not so spacious, but comfortable. If I could visit Brussels again I will stay there.

« Exceptional staff, who make your stay. »

Bath hooks in bathroom too small and consequently towels keep falling on the floor. I try to keep my towel for the duration of my stay. This is not possible. Certain staff, always go out of their way to help me and they are a credit to Gregory Marchand who clearly leads by example. Special mentions to Tom great receptionist, he will be missed. The following staff always go out of their way to make my 6 day stay away from home the best experience possible. Ashley, Robert, Raja and the departing Tom Claudia and Luis when I have breakfast. I am often asked by my work colleagues why don’t you stay at the Be manos. Those staff I have listed are the reason why. Thank you

« Convenient but needs work »

I stayed with the Pullman because the location is convenient. However, the breakfast and was overpriced and the hot food was very nearly cold. The restaurant needed cleaning as there was food on the seating and floor at the table where I had to sit. The rooms are comfortable but tea/coffee hadn't been refreshed and there were empty packets of tea and coffee in the room.

It was my second one-night stay at the hotel, this time as a single traveller in a classic double room. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had a big bath tub and a rain shower, toiletries and a vanity kit. I did have a slight problem with the height of the bath tub rim: I had to be very careful especially when stepping out of the tub. (Long legs are an advantage here.) The room had a separate toilet which is always nice. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice: fruit, cereals, eggs, sausages, smoked salmon, cheese and cold meats, marmalade, honey, different types of bread (even gluten free bread), etc. The staff were all pleasant and efficient.

« Nice Hotel - shame about the rude french receptionist »

the hotel was nice - i wanted a high room and got a low internal room so not impressed, my manager got a high room outward facing. The hotel called me the wrong name on the booking and also on this survey request. As the hotel is in the dutch speaking area of belgium i was annoyed that the hotel reception demanded i speak to him in french and the relented and allowed me to speak to him in english - after eurostar having a 2 hour delay i wasn'y looking forward to such a greeting.

I am a regular guest at Accor Hotels and have never found service so poor. Upon check in I was greeted with hostility - I don't normally have to show ID when I check in but if I do then it should be asked in a friendly way not like a club security. As a Silver status guest I was entitled to a welcome drink but I even had to persuade them of this. I also opted to have late check out if available but was flat out told this was not possible and they seemed offended I even asked. When I asked someone else the next day they said it was possible and happily were finally given a 4pm check out.

We could recommend the very good breakfast (service). The location isn't the best in Brussel, but central. The standard rooms are small, but fine for a short trip. The windows are good as you can see the trains / railway station (not all rooms have a view on railway site), but can't hear anything outside.

Was staying for 1 night for business. Worked a couple of hours from the hotel bar with friendly staff. Check in was done by a trainee, took long, better to give her support so a guest does not have to wait. Room was comfortable yet way to warm for over night. Was a sweaty night.
