« Completely Satisfied »

My family of four stayed at the Hotel Molitor for three nights last week, October 2017. We were really impressed with the staff’s professionalism, the hotel facilities, and the sumptuous breakfasts. Sylvestre from the Concierge team replied promptly to all my emails weeks before our arrival. He and his team provided detail information on getting around Paris. The front desk staff were equally helpful with our questions. The cleaning crew kept the rooms impeccably clean. Our two rooms and the hotel, in general, was beautiful. And oh the breakfast - five star hotel worthy - wide selection and all delicious. We looked forward to breakfast daily. Kudos to the kitchen and serving staff. We would definitely stay at Hotel Molitor again if we return to Paris and are already recommending it to our friends and coworkers.

« Beautiful building; shame we had to dine on the floor »

The indoor and outdoor pools are gorgeous, there's no doubt about that. Our group of adults and children had great fun, and the poolside staff were charming and helpful. However, we had a disastrous dinner that I've never experienced at any hotel. We showed up at the ground-floor brasserie just before 8pm to be told that the restaurant was full. "But don't you keep back some tables for guests of the hotel?" I asked. "The restaurant is full," the staff repeated. I had not been advised beforehand -- not when I reserved our rooms over the phone, not when we checked in on the day -- that I would need to book a table. The staff then suggested that I order room service, but when I asked for the room service menu, I was told that there was a problem with the printer, and I was asked to wait just a moment for the menu to be printed out. After a while with no room service menu, I was told that I could order from the restaurant menu. I reminded the staff that we were a party of 7 and would need a table or trolley to be brought to the bedroom, otherwise there would be no space to eat. "We will bring you a table, of course," they said. After some time waiting in the lobby and, later, in the room for someone to take our order, I was able to place an order, with a caveat that the food might arrive in our room in about 35 minutes -- no guarantee. "It might take a while," I was advised, "because the restaurant is so full that everyone is ordering room service." I hoped it was a joke, but it was not. The food arrived. No trolley, no table. The woman who brought us the food didn't even have the space to put it down -- she simply piled covered plate upon covered plate on the one small worktable that comes in the room. She had forgotten to bring our desserts, but perhaps it was just as well, for there certainly wasn't any space for them. It was now about 85 minutes since we had originally tried to sit down to dinner. The children, unbearably hungry, began eating off the floor. As I was on the phone to reception to ask where the table was that had been promised, a child accidentally stepped on another child's burger. Absolute chaos. Honestly, no hotel experience in my life has ever been like this. The duty manager came up with a small round coffee table -- the best he could do. You could tell he was trying to help, but there was only so much he could do when the hotel's systems fail. His face fell when he S. us, and he said, "It makes me sad to see you like this." "It makes *me* sad to experience this," I said, "especially at the prices we are paying." We were offered a couple of desserts and a fruit bowl as compensation. Between our two families, we had paid nearly 700 euros to swim in a pool and then eat off the floor in a small room. Plus another 150 euros or so for the food -- but at least it was delicious. I cannot recommend this hotel for its egregious lack of organisation and planning. If a hotel knows it has a popular restaurant, it has a duty to inform potential customers that a reservation is necessary. (I work in the hotel industry and often have to stay at hotels for my work. I have generally been advised of a busy restaurant and of the need to book a table, at the time of booking the room.) The reconstruction of the building is impressive, sure, and the food is really, really good. But it's unforgiveable -- especially at this price range -- that guests would be subject to the kind of stay we had. A real shame.

« Clean, modern design with friendly staff. »

Pool was amazing. We enjoyed learning about the history of the location. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Daily breakfast was excellent. The rooms had a modern design and were very comfortable. For tourists, the location is a bit distant from the main city center but we had no issue taking Uber or walking to the nearby train station. We would stay here again.

« Great service in an amazing building! »

We were only in Paris for two nights, so the fact we ended up spending a whole day just staying in the hotel says it all. The facilities and food are great, but it really is the building that impresses. We loved just sitting by the pool admiring the setting.

Great. The only thing is that I asked my meat to be medium well st the lunch. When I got it it was rare.

Good. The amenities (swimming pool) are unbeatable given the location. Details could be improved here and there (given the 5* ranking).

« Luxurious, comfortable and friendly »

We were invited to the Molitor for the Air France World Golf Tour event and where treated like celebrities, the organisation, staff and hotel were excellent. The hotel room was modern, very comfortable and clean. The pool and upstairs bar are amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

« Nice facility but not good location »

The hotel was very nice. However it was not located in a good location unless we were to attend a sporting event. Not many restaurants in the neighborhood, and no shops. Front desk staff super, restaurant staff not always attentive.

Loved every aspect of your hotel. I stayed there for the Pool - and was thrilled with not the outdoor and indoor pools- both are kept so beautifully clean and without any chemical scents.

« A Resort inside the City of Light »

This hotel is like staying at a resort or on a cruise ship somehow landed in Paris. Two wonderful restaurants. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice size bathrooms with modern appointments and fixtures and two beautiful pools. Service is friendl and efficient , not haughty and stuffy. A little off the beaten path of the Paris Tourist Attractions but the metro is within four blocks and connects you everywhere.
