I have stayed in many hotels around the world, Molitor truly took my breath away, it was a truly amazing experience. The hotel staff were amazing. I cannot wait to return to experience the great service again.

« Great location with lovely rood terrace, disappointed in some areas. »

Visit each year and always enjoyed but generally had poor service in bars and restaurant. This year the service was excellent and food and pool view as lovely as ever. Especially recommend our waiter in roof top terrace. Unfortunately we were let down in other areas. Our room was disappointing, not having been cleaned properly (someone else's underwear found in a drawer!) and with a hole in the pillowcase and ripped duvet. Additionally we only had one large towel and it took 4hrs and two chasers to finally get another one. Also the air conditioning did not work and the room was unbearably hot at 26 degrees all night. As we were only there one night we did not get a chance to comment until the next day as late when we noticed. Reception are generally very helpful and I am sure would have moved us, however disappointing for our one night, especially given cost of rooms. Also very disappointed in the replacement of loungers to deck chairs by the pool. I come to relax by the pool for a couple of days each summer and it is not possible in a deck chair, very uncomfortable, cannot put feet up or tan back. Having got the service levels where they should be for this level of hotel, and having such a wonderful pool and setting it's a shame these areas are now letting the hotel down. After 5 years this is first time we have thought about not coming back.

Hello I have stayed at Molitor several times before. First time 2014. It is a great hotel and location. First let me say it is a great hotel. I can train in pool and in training room and in the Bologne Forest and have great locker rooms with showers and sauna. At the same time work from my room in good environment. I am nevertheless observing a small downfall of the hotel. The public toilet one floor down from receiption looks shabby. Broken tiles over sink, papertowels accidential spread out, bad smell and dark. Receiption staff of young people all in jeans and a certain self consiousness makes the contact there less Hotel and more club. Colorful lights in the pool at night are now turned off. I always have late flight out of Paris and find it natural to ask if using pool after check out is ok. Having paid a high price i would rather not have long discussions about this. I concider myself a regular at the hotel. After checking in to out room my wife stepped on some small broken ceramic bits and injured her foot lightly. I found several bits and took it to the receiption. They off course arranged cleaning and later served us a botle of free wine and a written appology. All in all 7 points and something to work on. I hope we can keep Molitor a classy but accessible gym hotel in the great City of Paris. Regards Tore Håkon riple

« Vibrant and Artistic, and great Customer Care »

Great hotel, wonderful customer service. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Such attention to detail. Food and service at the brasserie and bar was 10/10. So much art to see in the hotel, around every corner. Perfect deco. Can't wait till our next visit.

« Would go back there in a heartbeat, BUT...! »

The hotel itself is fantastic and we all LOVED it. The pools are simply something else. The rooms are nice and well appointed and there are Clarins amenities everywhere (even in the public toilets). The restaurant food is good (and although not cheap, we did not find it exorbitant) and the breakfast was very good. However, although some staff are very nice - the concierges especially (who also recommended us a terrific place for dinner), and the waiter who served us dinner on the first night, other are just to cool for school. The below might seem a bit pernickety (we ended up feeling that the too cool for school attitude of some staff added somewhat to the allure of the place), but reviews have to be frank if they are to be useful: 1) Although when we booked the hotel I was still an Accor Platinum member (those showed like that in their records), bar the free drink voucher, I was not given any form of added treatment. No asking if we needed a late checkout, no mention of upgrades etc... To be frank, I do not even think I was welcomed to the hotel. 2) We booked to have dinner on the first night at 19:00. When we got there, the member of staff received us, told us in a sultry way we could only sit at a particular table outside, and oh by the way, the restaurant only opens at 19:30. 3) I was really looking forward to having a "mojito" by the pool. When we went to order at the pool bar, we were told they only served them in the hotel bar, and for that we needed to dry and change to get there. Fair enough, we ordered something else. However, to our surprise, we later saw that there was a waitress from the hotel bar doing the rounds serving amongst other things mojitos. Why did they not tell us this at the pool bar? To be frank, this really did get to me a bit. 4) At breakfast, in the both days we were there, not once did a waiter come to see what type of drinks we we wanted. We simply made do with the Nespresso coffee maker in the buffet. 4) The Molitor at times wants to be all things to all people. A discerning hotel, an oasis of calm, a trendy club (upstairs terrace with music pumping), a place to see and to be seen, an ultra chic spa, a trendy gym.... However, as I said before, we all loved the hotel. My son is now pinning for it, and cannot wait to return!

« Excellent customer service in a chic hotel »

The only criticism I have is the air con in our room didn't work well. Otherwise, this hotel has fantastic spaces- from the roof restaurant & garden, to the bar & restaurant, to the fantastic pools & spa. With notably excellent service throughout. I would love to come back.

« Not good enough for its price and 5* rating »

We choose this hotel because of its location. We don't normally spend this much on a hotel but saw the pool and the 5* rating and decided that it would be worth it. For this kind of money I expect perfection but we didn't get this. The most important failure was in our room, we had clearly booked for 3 adults and this required an extra bed to be put in the room, for which we were charged an additional 70 Euro per night. However despite the booking showing 3 adults and 3 of us appearing at reception this had not been done so we had to go back and request this. Also, one morning the cleaners tried to come in at around 9am and then tried again only 20 minutes later. They then came in when we went to breakfast and were still there when we returned which was inconvenient. It should have been obvious that we were going. to breakfast and so would be returning soon. There was no information in the room about the restaurants, eg menu, how to book, nor about the breakfast timings. But there was a great deal of information about the history of the building, which is interesting but not as useful. There was also no information about how to get to the pools, and given the layout of the hotel this was needed. I still don't know whether the pools were open 24 hours, I didn't see any information about opening times. We went up to the rooftop bar for a drink and were given a menu including a list of juice drinks, but the bar tender said he couldn't make them. Finally, I checked in on-line as I always do when this is available and as per usual the check in finished with a comment that I would receive my invoice by email and so would not have to go through the check out process at the desk. When I hadn't received the email by 10am on the day we left I went down to reception to ask about this. The receptionist hadn't heard of this but did check with someone and agreed that this is normal practice at many Accor hotels, but isn't at the Molitor. On the plus side, all of the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was big enough and well appointed and the outdoor pool was wonderful. Had the hotel been cheaper I wouldn't be complaining but for the price we paid I don't expect to have any complaints or negative comments at all.

« Good »

Unfortunately our rooms were not available when we arrived at about 3pm and still were not available at 4. We had booked a room with a pool view and patio . We did not get this and although I was told that they would get back to us about a change of room for a second night they did not. On Sunday morning I asked for an iron. It never arrived. However this is an amazing venue, the food was great and the beds extremely comfortable

A disaster, You have failed to comply with the resolution / complaint handling requirements of the french first class classification. I am still 600 euro short in my bank account all because you are too arrogant to create and send a simple merchant release letter so I can get my money back. your staff lie so when asked by another staff member they get things wrong. different staff tell me different things and contradict what other staff say. you did not follow your own protocol of handing out a complementary drink and Tapas voucher on arrival so you tried to bill us for that. room service left dirty coffee cups.

« Paris Pools »

An interesting and fun hotel. Two wonderful pools, an excellent dining experience and very helpful and charming staff. We stayed for 3 nights at the end of a 6 month period in Paris having heard of the hotel from French friends. The hotel is a conversion of historic swimming pools and suffers a little from logistic difficulties inherent in the design and the public/hotel guest delineation.

Mixed feelings. I first stayed at Molitor. Two nights. Then Mama Shelter. Will never go to Molitor again. Will return to Mama. One night Molitor was 350€. One night Mama was 85€. But mama give you the energy, a hug, a welcome, good food, drinks, kindness, smiling people, educated staff, client awareness.

« Trendy hotel, great staff but some issues »

We stayed here for my husband's birthday with our two kids and loved discovering the two amazing pools that make up the essence of the hotel. The staff is young and very pleasant. However the rooms are not great for a five star - the pools suite had squeaky wooden floors and no storage at all although huge. We changed to two connecting rooms which were much better but there was a sewage smell so strong we had to change again. The third floor is below the roof top bar so we were awoken by the staff cleaning up at 2 to 4 am every night- pick a lower floor. It is also difficult to get around the hotel probably to make the pool area exclusive. Great breakfast but dinner menu terrible - a pity as again, the staff was really sweet and helpful. Do not be surprised also when they pre authorize the full amount of your stay plus 200 euro incidental - they them reimburse the difference to your account if you have not spent the total. I had never experienced that before and it could be surprising.

« Disapointing »

Shower was blocked and therefore water was flowing out everywhere in the bathroom. dinner on the terrace was bad, too expensive and service was horrible. It was difficult to book a place at the restaurant downstairs even being guests. At check-out the person said he would send the receipt to me by email but I still haven't receive anything.
