I loved the hotel - the roof top bar, the restaurant and of course the pool. My room saw luxurious with a lovely view of the pool. My only criticism was the delayed check in -.my room wasn't ready before 3:45pm...

Staff was extremely polite and helpful. We had difficulty understanding how the breakfast worked since there was both buffet and waitresses - it would have been nice with an introduction before entering the dining area. There was no Clarins bodylotion in our bathroom during our stay - that was a shame.

« We all loved our three night stay »

Third stay at Molitor and as always we loved it. However, I was very disappointed with the lady at the Rooftop restaurant dealing with reservations. As our Eurotunnel train was delayed for around 3 hours we called ahead to see if our table could be moved. I was shown no sympathy and was told that they would only hold the table for 15 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant within minutes of the maximum time allowed. We were not able to shower, which would have been good after more than 9 hours on the road. A hotel restaurant should be able to cope with such circumstances, especially a 5 star hotel.

« Lovely 4 nights with family. »

Loved the decor as soon as we walked into the hotel foyer. Had 2 adjoining rooms for parents and kids which worked well (get 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, which you don't if you have a family room). Great that they overlook the fabulous swimming pool. Pool is great if you want to do some serious swimming, as opposed to splashing about. Excellent breakfast - large choice and of high standard. Ate in restaurant for a lunch and a dinner. Food was good but disappointed it was the same, fairly limited, menu both times. Only real negative point is that you couldn't get drinks at the pool and, unless we missed a trick, you couldn't quickly walk from the pool to the bar area adjacent, as they seem to have deliberately prevented doing so. Hotel is some distance from the main tourist attractions, but the nearest metro station is only 5-10 minutes walk and train tickets are cheap. Overall, was very impressed and if I stay in Paris again, especially if in summer (pool to cool off in), I'd definitely consider it again.

The hotel is beautiful, but the service does not live up to the status of a five star hotel. We waited 30 minutes to get access to our room. While waiting, we wanted to enjoy a drink poolside and were told by the waitstaff that it was not possible because they were serving brunch. Since when do hotel bars not serve someone a drink??? The host was kind enough to recognize the error so he gave us vouchers for a drink later on. OK. We went back to the restaurant later to have a drink. No hostess. No waitstaff. We had to flag someone down after sitting at a table for 30 minutes. He informed us that he wasn’t responsible for that section of the restaurant. We moved tables to get service. OK, fine I guess. But why let us sit in that part of the restaurant for so long??? Why not come over to say “oh if you’d like to order something, please come with me over here.” I’ve NEVER been to a hotel where it was so hard to get served. Later on by the pool, I was dying for a poolside drink but again no service. No one anywhere to speak of and yet people all around us were enjoying drinks. I felt like there was some code no one had explained to us. It was very disappointing. No one ever came by to take a drink order so eventually we just left and went back up to our room. I was so looking forward to our night at the Molitor, but am afraid I would not recommend it to anyone nor would I choose to stay there again. Venue is one thing. Design wonderful. But good service is paramount and should be a top priority for your staff. It’s very clear that it is not. Or maybe I am just the wrong kind of customer? That is honestly how I felt - unwelcome, unappreciated. Not a great feeling when you’ve spent as much as we did. Please work on this for future guests.

The staying was good, swimming pool is great. Yet, I was incorrectly (I believe) charged EUR 50 for SPA usage that I didn't to which I'm trying to get a refund for over a week unsuccessfully. I would expect the service to be at the same level of the hard product, which is great.

Nicely welcomed, I came for the second time at the hotel Molitor. I warmly advise it during summer time. I felt as in vacation. Nice room, great view on the pool, efficient service. It remains curiously complicated to get a large pot of tea and coffee for breakfast. Globally, I spent a pleasant stay.
