« Great location, clear, basic room and very friendly service. »

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights total and found it to be very pleasant with nice public spaces in the lobby and a warm atmosphere. The rooms are spartan, but clean in the sprit of Ibis. The restaurant is very convent, but the food is average or below average, especially for the price.

« Nightmare »

First night was a nightmare with the loud music outside the hotel. Front desk personnel didn’t do anything about it. Once we asked for the manager we never got an answer for his presence or even a phone call

Checked in during the evening time. The lady on duty was very professional and friendly. Hotel breakfast was decent, although the spread was limited. Why was toothpaste and brush not provided? Bottled Water was also not provided. Luckily there was a convenience store opposite the hotel.

My stay was overall good. However, near the side of the hotel building (where my room was) there’s a street with a salsa bar with really high volume music until late at night. It was loud and I could only sleep after the musics ended.

The IBIS Bogota Museo is centrally located to many very interesting sights to visit. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast which we purchased at a minimal price was very good. The rooms are small but the beds and pillows were great. Really enjoyed our stay

« Good hotel stay marred by 2 days of cold water »

For the first two days my shower water was cold. Day one - I complained - maintenance sent - water was still cold. Day two I complained - maintenance sent - water was still cold. Day two I complained again - accompanied two maintenance men and one person from the front desk - finally fixed. I ask for some compensation on my bill for two mornings of cold showers and was told that the Manager - h7… had said no as she always sent maintenance when requested. I am furious - she might have sent maintenance but twice they failed to fix the problem and lied that it was fixed.

« Loud music and staff did nothing »

Apparently there is a disco right below the one side of the hotel. All our rooms were right above it. LOUD music until 2 am. Went down the next morning and asked for a manager. The man at the desk was not symathic - said it was closed the next night and no manager available to talk to us. Asked them to call us and NO ONE CALLED. Came back to the hotel last night and the staff person who said it was closed was wrong - IT WAS OPEN and loud music again. After no manager calling us all day- went back to the desk and the best they could do was move the room. NO help- NO one to help me move my luggage and I am a single woman. Felt they were not emphatic. Offer nothing more than moving the room. I realize that you have no control on the disco and loud music ( oh and the front desk person told me I should call the police to get it turned down!) REALLY) but when the hotel is NOT full, either you should inform the guest or NOT MOVE THEM TO THAT SIDE- Very disappointed

This was our second time staying at the Ibis Museo. Both visits have covered the period of a full week. Everything is very fine; however, the paid breakfast service cooked items -- soup, carbohydrates, and eggs -- are consistently cold as is the coffee and hot water service. I had to keep going to the bar to get hot water for tea. It seems a stronger source of electricity may be needed to power the electrical servers. The only other dissatisfaction we had was with the formal registration that took place with our daughter one evening because she and her father purchased wine to take to our room. It is understandable that because of her different ethnic appearance from her father that it would draw attention. Our daughter (whom we adopted in 1982) had been seen coming and going over the week along with her family members, was not a new face in the lobby. We understand the Ibis has to monitor undesirable traffic and the inappropriate activies of their guests; however, she was not a new face and perhaps some inquiry with other staff members as to her identity could have been made before putting both she and her father through an interrogation.

« Functional and warm in a great location. »

I had a good time staying at this hotel. It is simple and functional, toiletries are below average but do the trick. The A/C is not as strong as some would want it so you might be warm. Bed is comfortable and linens are soft and of good quality. Bar is great but breakfast options are fairly limited. Bread is of low quality.
